It’s well-known that Murray has been a top 10 fantasy quarterback every year before 2022, when he tore his ACL in Week 14. While he’s an exciting fantasy asset, I’ve always questioned his ability as a passer and, therefore, have been lower than consensus. QBR and EPA are metrics that attempt to measure the effectiveness and impact of each quarterback. These metrics aren’t perfect, but they do a fairly good job of measuring a quarterback’s success. EPA, in particular, will increase based on good plays and decrease based on negative plays.ย Murray has always ranked very low in QBR and average at best in EPA.ย

Let’s dive into the intriguing case of Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back, Chase Brown. The guy’s been making some noise early in his NFL career, and I’m here to break down the nitty-gritty of his stats, potential, and what might lie ahead in the fantasy realm. Spoiler alert: it’s looking pretty exciting, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First things first, meet Chase Brown โ a compact 5’9″, 215 lbs. powerhouse out of Illinois. The Bengals snagged him in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft at pick 163. Now, I won’t bore you with every stat from his college days, but let’s just say the dude’s got a history of making things happen on the field.

I cannot believe we are almost done with our fantasy season. All the scouting, drafting, and trading you have done to this point is all for this critical part of the year. Unfortunately, as always, injuries have complicated things. In the past week we have had guys like Justin Herbert, Josh Jacobs, and Nico Collins go down. Guys you have depended on week-to-week to get you to this point. Now completely unavailable. If you play in leagues with no trade deadlines, you can still make some moves to remedy this situation at the back end of the season. Here are some guys that can help fill those holes.

You don’t want to be that middling team that finishes 7th or 8th or stumbles into the playoffs with little hope of advancement. When you have owners taking their teams in opposite directions, it opens up the opportunity to get some trades completed that are mutually beneficial. These late-season trades can be the quickest and most efficient deals, in my opinion. As desperation sets in with injuries or unforeseen circumstances, dynasty owners are more willing to “lose” a trade at face value in order to keep the train on the tracks. Now, let’s take a look at a few of the trades I completed.ย

Welcome to this week’s edition of Dynasty Start/Sits! I have a 1QB league where I roster four QBs, and my current record is 12-1. I have zero active this week. I say this because I want readers to know that the QB Landscape is insane. Itโs affecting all of us. Although, just because my hopes are dwindling in a league doesnโt mean I canโt help you with yours. I have some good ones ready for you as we approach the playoffs.ย

Dobbs is coming off his worst game of the season. There is a very real possibility the Vikings start a QB other than Dobbs in the Fantasy playoffs. So, hedge this bet by picking up Nick Mullens. However, what we do know is Kevin O’Connell is going to pass no matter who his QB is. Despite losing Cousins, the Vikings remain fourth in the NFL in passing yards. What complicates this further is there are three quarterbacks in the mix. If I had to rank them right now, it would be 1. Josh Dobbs, 2. Nick Mullens, 3. Jaren Hall. Dobbs has the biggest fantasy upside and is a potential league winner due to his rushing acumen. Dobbs has averaged 19.12 fantasy points per game in his four games with Minnesota. This has been without the NFL’s best wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, who returns after this week.
