Dynasty Analysis
Streaming options need to be monitored daily at this point. With COVID-19 ruining the chances for some of your players to play, you need to make sure you are targeting your star players’ back-ups/replacements. It’s always better to be safe. For example, if you grabbed Tyler Huntley to replace Lamar Jackson this past week, you look like a genius! For now, the players below are assumed to be healthy and free from the virus. And they could help you advance to your fantasy championships. As always, we will provide the best weekly options to stream at quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. Keep in mind, each streaming option will be below 50% owned, according to ESPN leagues.
Week 15 has been the most chaotic week of the 2021 season. Arguably no fantasy playoff round has ever been more challenging than this. The waiver-wire moves that fantasy gamers are making this week are season-saving moves made at the eleventh hour in reaction to COVID-IR transactions and late-breaking inactives. This reality feels likely to spill over to Week 16 as well. This week’s waiver-wire offerings will be those players who appear likely to occupy near-full-time roles in their upcoming games.
With a limited amount of options on the main slate, choosing the right players was that much more important in Week 15. Tyler Huntley was forced to step back into the starting role with Lamar Jackson out again this week and boy did he show up. Huntley led all quarterbacks in scoring with 35.9 DK points. His number one weapon was Mark Andrews, who was a slate breaker with 38.6 DK points. With that being said, let’s see how my weekly DFS picks played out!
The Buccaneers franchise is reeling after a devastating defeat that saw the team lose three key offensive pieces Sunday night. As if being blanked on the scoreboard by division rivals wasn’t bad enough, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Leonard Fournette were all forced to depart the contest early with injuries.
With a limited amount of options to pick from in Week 15, there are some important values that you cannot miss out on! So let’s get ready to dig in! Also, don’t forget to create multiple lines and diversify your lineups to prevent unforeseen ‘busts’.
It’s officially playoff time and we’re all living in a Covid-fueled fantasy hellscape as we’ve never seen before. Luckily, we play dynasty so we can say “Next season’s our year” like we’re Cowboy’s fans in January and think about the offseason. Rookies should be at the top of your buy and sell plans so we’ll continue our Dynasty Rookie Rankings series with the talent-packed 2021 receiver class. Make sure you’re caught up with the running back class.
Aaron Donald was an animal again in week 14 against the Cardinals in Arizona. In the win, the Pitt alum notched five total tackles, a pass defended, three TFLs, and three sacks. At 30-years-old, Donald continues his reign as the most disruptive interior defender in the league.
It’s Bowl Season, baby! For college football fans, nothing quite matches the heightened drama of often hilariously named season finales. I, for one, have reached a feverish enthusiasm. I cannot wait to begin grading prospects for my 2022 rookie drafts. I wanted to share that excitement with the #DFFArmy with a sneak peek into the market shares of some of my favorite wide receiver prospects. Consider this a “pre-Bowl” program of sorts. Let’s get to know the stars before they take center stage for their closing performances.
DeAndre Hopkins, the perennial Top-5 finisher will finish outside of the Top-12 for the second time since leaving Houston. You can’t call his 14.72 PPR per game bad but It certainly falls short of the price tag many paid for him across every format. The dip in production has less to do with ability and more about usage and a few minor injuries. Moreover, the Cardinals have a receiving room filled with talent and haven’t needed to rely on him for most of the offensive production like the Texans had to. The explosive offense can spread around to several players on the ground or through the air and has capped Hokins’ volume and upside. He’s currently fourth in team target share.
The fantasy playoffs are officially in full swing, which means our margin for error has shrunk to zero. Every start/sit decision could mean the difference between advancing or falling short. So, let’s take a look at some names at every position that I believe will exceed expectations or let you down in this crucial week.
Hello, fellow fantasy managers. I am Chris Miles, The Draft Director, and welcome to the first installment of my Dynasty Buy/Sells. I will be helping you determine what players value you should be taking advantage of in your dynasty leagues as we approach the fantasy playoffs and offseason. If someone’s value is too high I might tell you to sell. If I think their value will decrease soon, he could also be a sell. I will give my reasoning for why each player falls in a certain category. There will be advice for both contenders and rebuilders so whichever boat you’re in you can get information from these articles. I will attempt to have the format consistently be two buys and two sells for both rebuilds and contenders, but that may increase or decrease depending on the week.
It’s the FANTASY FREAKING PLAYOFFS! Well, at least for most of you. What a weird season right? If you found yourself in the playoffs, give yourself a pat on the back. Now it’s time to demolish your playoff opponents and start your title run. Although you may not need to stream any positions this week, it’s essential to keep all options in mind. Some of us stream our way to the finish line. Remember Breshad Perriman from two seasons ago? Or what about Robert Tonyan and Logan Thomas last season? The point is to never stop improving your team. These streaming options below may end up helping you win a title. As always, we will provide the best weekly options to stream at quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. Keep in mind, each streaming option will be below 50% owned, according to ESPN leagues.
The Rookie Rankings continue with Running Backs 1-3. Playoffs are set and you’re either in or out. You should always be targeting rookies regardless of your situation and level of stress. So we’ll discuss The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Truth of the top 2021 NFL Draft prospects to help you gameplan your playoff push or rebuild for 2022. Make sure you’re caught up on Running Backs 7-10 and 4-6.
What is up DFF Army? It’s that time of the week for us to provide some insightful Week 13 suggestions. Although new information always causes us to reconsider things, we now have enough information to drive decision-making. As we discover trends through the season we will be able to make more determined analyses on specific picks. To go along with matchups and trends, we will look at key fantasy players who have the most beneficial or detrimental matchups.
Looking at the main slate for Week 14, there are some important values that you cannot miss out on! So let’s get ready to dig in! Also, don’t forget to create multiple lines and diversify your lineups to prevent unforeseen ‘busts’.
T.J. Watt is making a case for DPOY with his production on the field this season. The fifth-year pro out of Wisconsin had a massive day against the Raven, accounting for six total tackles, a TFL, a forced fumble, and 3.5 sacks of Lamar Jackson. Watt has now contributed 47 tackles, 16 TFLs and 16 sacks in his 10 games played this season. The former first-round pick is the top edge rusher in IDP fantasy football right now and will be for years to come.
Once again, I need to give a big shoutout to Matt (@PsychWardFF on Twitter) for taking over Paul’s Picks in Week 13. Despite his incredibly solid process, Matt had a pretty unlucky week of picks. Of course, in this totally upside-down season, we all seem to be getting more wrong than right. But this week, I’m hoping to right the ship. In many leagues, this is the final week of the fantasy regular season. In others, the playoffs have already begun. Either way, there is a lot on the line. So, let’s take a look at some names at every position that I believe will exceed expectations or fall flat in Week 14.
We’re officially just one week away from the fantasy football playoffs which means we are all, hopefully, gearing up for a deep playoff run. It all starts with establishing as high as a seed as we can this week, and hopefully a bye. But that doesn’t mean that the waiver wire activity is dead. It should be heating up to get as much crucial depth you can pile up for the run. When gearing up for the playoffs, there’s nothing that can set you back as much as a hurt running back (the highest missed game percentage among fantasy skill positions) with nothing to back it up. Although the waiver wire might not offer that league-winning running back to ride through the playoffs, you can find higher floored depth options.
We did it, fam. We made it through one of the craziest Fantasy Regular Seasons I’ve experienced in a decade because of either injury, Covid, odd bye week scheduling due to the extra game, or more injuries. But alas, we’ve reached the bittersweet transition into the Post-Season and it’s time to game-plan a playoff push or rebuild for 2022 and beyond. Managers should be making moves with the 2021 Rookie Class regardless of whether they’re winners or losers. And what better way to help ensure the right moves are being made than by creating a soon-to-be controversial Dynasty Rankings list by position. We’ll rank and assess The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Truth of all the high-profile rookies to gauge their dynasty trade value starting with running backs.
