Week 15 Streamers

HERE WE GO! It’s Week 1 of the playoffs for most of you! There are a ton of fantasy managers scrambling to find some great streaming options here in Week 14. The quarterback position may be the most important, as players like Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, Marcus Mariota, Jimmy Garoppolo, Matthew Stafford, and Kenny Pickett are all likely to miss this week. This week features some high-ceiling players, some low-risk/safe players, and some deeper league/shot-in-the-dark, players. Remember, we always provide the best players to stream at quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. Each streaming option will have ownership under 60%, according to ESPN. Below, you will find two streamers per position and a “deep stream” option (15% or lower). Let’s stream our way into Round 2 of the fantasy playoffs together!

As we mentioned above, this week’s streamers feature some riskier but high-ceiling players. Tyler Huntley is exactly that! Although he has only played in a handful of quarters this season, John Harbaugh will use him nearly the same way as he did with a healthy Lamar Jackson. In seven games played last season (four starts), Huntley compiled 1,081 passing yards, 294 rushing yards, and five touchdowns. In those four starts, he finished as the QB33, the QB21, the QB18, and the QB1. In that top quarterback finish in Week 15 of 2021, he produced 215 passing yards, 73 rushing yards, four touchdowns, and 35.9 fantasy points. This week, he takes on a Browns defense that has surrendered 20-plus fantasy points to the quarterback positions in two of their last three games. He is a risky play, but he could turn into a week-winning streamer that could carry you into the second round.

TIGHT END

Streamer #1: Greg Dulcich vs Cardinals, 38.9% owned

Streaming the tight end position has never been harder. If Greg Dulcich is available in your league, he is EASILY the top streaming option at his position this week. During the last two weeks, he’s the TE4 behind only Evan Engram, Chigoziem Okonkwo, and Pat Freiermuth. In those two games played, he has hauled in nine of his 16 targets for 127 yards, good enough for  21.7 combined PPR points. He should continue his great play this week against the 32nd-ranked team against tight ends on the season. Arizona has allowed more than seven PPR points to the tight end position in EVERY game this year. In all but three matchups, they surrendered at least 13 points. Even the TE23 on the season, Hunter Henry, turned in a TE10 finish last week against the Cardinals. If you can snag him, Dulcich should immediately slide into your starting lineup ahead of most tight ends.

Streamer #2: Hunter Henry at Raiders, 30.4% owned

Hunter Henry is a riskier streaming option, but there aren’t many other options if you’re in need. As mentioned above, he’s coming into Week 15 after putting together a TE10 finish last week against the Cardinals. Now, he has another great matchup against the Raiders. Las Vegas is allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to his position in 2022. Although they slowed down the Rams’ tight ends a week ago, the previous eight matchups weren’t so pretty. In Weeks 5-13, they allowed an average of about 14.4 PPR points per game to Henry’s position. If Dulcich isn’t available, Henry is a viable streaming option that can help you enough to move on to the next round in your fantasy playoffs.

Denver comes into Week 15 as the D/ST13 on the year. Expect a top-10 finish this week, as they take on a struggling Cardinals offense. With Kyler Murray set to miss the remainder of the season, Arizona turns to 36-year-old Colt McCoy to be the team’s starting signal-caller for the remainder of 2022. In relief last week, McCoy struggled mightily, as the Patriots recorded six sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery, one defensive touchdown, and 19 fantasy points (D/ST1 in Week 14). If you’re in need of a streaming D/ST this week and Denver is available, you may want to scoop them up unless the defense below is available.

No team has been worse against opposing D/STs than the Rams. Los Angeles ranks DEAD LAST this season, as they’ve surrendered at least eight fantasy points in all but three games this year. Green Bay is 5-8, and they still have some playoff aspirations, as they are just a couple of games back from the last wild card spot in the NFC. That should motivate the team enough to surge defensively against Baker Mayfield in his second start as a member of the Rams. Expect a turnover or two, a handful of sacks, and not a ton of points scored by this Los Angles offense that is without Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, and Matthew Stafford.

BONUS

Deep Stream: Chigoziem Okonkwo at Chargers, 6.1% owned

Here’s a crazy stat for you. Chigoziem Okonkwo has served as the TE10 during Weeks 8-14. He’s turned in consecutive double-digit PPR performances, and he’s coming off a TE3 finish from a week ago. Although he’s lined up on the field just as much as Austin Hooper has of late, he’s out-targeted the veteran in three straight weeks. Okonkwo has seen at least five targets during that three-game span, and he’s hauled in 13 of his 16 targets for 148 yards and a touchdown. With a favorable matchup against the Chargers this week, Okonkwo could be a deeper league play here in Round 1.
