Hello DFF members, my name is Chris and this year I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that who I think should be owned significantly more, I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the waiver adds.
Chris Moore, WR HOU – 19.5% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 12-15%
Chris Moore quietly had a great game on Sunday. With Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins both missing the game Moore saw 45% of Houston’s targets, on his way to scoring 22.4 PPR points. If Collins and Cook miss more time, Moore could be a good flex fill-in. The Texans face the Chiefs, Titans, and Jaguars which is one of the best WR playoff schedules in the league.
Richie James, WR NYG – 18.49% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 5-7%
Richie James has had an expanding role lately in the Giants’ offense. This past week he ran the most routes on the team. This is less of a dynasty rebuilder hold and more of a contender grab to make your playoff push. I don’t see him being too valuable next year.
Chigoziem Okonkwo, TE TEN – 32.94% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 20-27%
Okonkwo had his true breakout this weekend posing six catches on six targets for 45 yards and a touchdown. That performance was good enough for TE2 on the week and in the week before that Chigoziem was TE9. He is a rookie that is taking advantage of his opportunity with the Titans missing some other options in their passing game. But, this is promising nonetheless and he should be owned much more.
Colt McCoy, QB ARI – 11.45% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 50%
This is the obligatory “a starting QB got hurt and you have to add the new starter” section. McCoy however, is serviceable and has a good supporting cast with Hollywood, Hopkins, and James Conner. You could find yourself starting him vs the Buccs or Falcons to help you in the fantasy playoffs. Or if you aren’t in the playoffs you could sell him to someone who is.
