The Colts managed to make August an extremely stressful month for fantasy managers who roster any of their key offensive position players. Anthony Richardson was named the starter behind an injured offensive line, their starting all-pro running back is in a stand-off with the front office over a new contract, their young tight end was placed on injured reserve, and all but three wide receivers were cut before the deadline.

Hello, fellow Dynasty leaguers! In this series I will be going through the top-48 WRs in Dynasty, providing stats and insight on them. The WR market can be hard to pick apart because there are so many players in so many situations and so many factors in play. Here I will try to help make it easier by giving my thoughts on some players I find interesting and maybe it can help you navigate the market and find some values. When considering WR Dynasty value there are three main things I look at: a path to accruing value, immediate projectable production, and value insulation. These three things can be applied to every player and I use them often to compare who I value more. To do this I will be using BulletProof ADP and separating the players into tiers. Letโs dive right in with the first tier.

A much-overlooked aspect of Dynasty is value comparison, or comparing the values of Dynasty players to Redraft players and seeing which is worth more or less. You might be thinking, โWell, duh! Of course, older players are worth less in Dynasty than Redraft!โ to which I agree. But what about Daniel Jones (QB – NYJ), who is only 25 years old? Should he be worth more in Redraft or Dynasty? Or how about Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR – DEN), who in Redraft has an ADP of WR10, but in Dynasty, heโs valued as WR6. Which side more appropriately values players? In this series, which will take place over eight parts (one part for each division), Iโll be evaluating every skill position player on every team and giving my thoughts on their value, whether they are overvalued compared to Redraft or undervalued. Usually, the appropriate value will be somewhere in the middle.

The revolution is here, and it is being led by WRs. In the last several years, the young WRs in particular, have changed the way many Dynasty managers have gone about building out their rosters for future success. We have seen numerous rookie wideouts make immediate impacts and become the foundation teams are now built around. The NFL has recently changed in more ways than one. We are in the โAir Raidโ era that has allowed rookie WRs to come in and make an immediate impact.

At this time of year, the NFL Fantasy Football space is dominated by Dynasty content. Everybody is talking about free agency, The Combine, and NFL Mock Drafts while Redraft season is a million miles away. Donโt get me wrong, I love rookie hype and lopsided trade offers as much as the next guy, but I also love to draft. And I assume you feel the same way; otherwise, you wouldnโt have clicked on this article. In my opinion, the best way to scratch that itch is with pre-draft Best Ball.

The morning after the combine, everyone is moving rookie rankings up and down based on the measurements and data collected from the weekend. Little did we know we would get the first domino to fall in the off-season QB market. Derek Carr has signed a 4-year deal with the New Orleans Saints worth $150M and $100M in guarantees. The Saints are again using some strange contract structures to pretend that the salary cap does not exist. That is a discussion for another time though. For now, we dive forward into what Carr to the Saints means in terms of Dynasty Fantasy Football. Before I continue, special thanks to Chris Museezer (@force_fantasty) and Paul Patterson (@fantastyfreezer) for helping with data sources and outlining. I may be the one putting the words on the screen but those guys had already gathered useful data for me before I even turned my computer on today.ย

As the dynasty league offseason is now in full swing, there are many upcoming NFL events to anticipate. Coming up on the calendar we have the likes of the NFL Scouting Combine, Free Agency, and the NFL Draft. In the fantasy football world, there is ample opportunity for value shifts for individual players and entire position groups. What better time to test the water than the end of February with a mock draft?ย

In this continued offseason series, we will break down one player from each NFL team who is currently being overlooked. At the same time, that player could provide great depth/potential to a deep dynasty league roster. These players are worth picking up if they are in your free agency.

At this point in the off-season, I prefer to write articles on prospects that arenโt in that elite tier so that DFF members have a value-added when reading. After all most have likely heard quite enough about the top prospects in the class to make their decision one way or the other. For that reason, I havenโt done a deep profile on Jaxon Smith-Njigba. In my mind, he is a no-brainer prospect.ย

Nathaniel โTankโ Dell is consistent with the new wave of undersized wide receivers recently ushered into the NFL. Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, Justin Jefferson, Chris Olave, Rondale Moore, and Elijah Moore are redefining what it means to be a โprototypeโ wide receiver. Route running and the ability to create separation are being prioritized over physical size.

After being injured during the preseason of his rookie season and sitting out his entire first year, Travis Etienne (RB – JAX) had a troubled beginning to his sophomore season. After beginning the season losing touches to third-year veteran James Robinson (RB – NYJ), he finally broke out in Game 5 and following that he posted stellar rushing performances, having a notable 25-yard + rush in seemingly every game. Ending his season as RB17 and having 12 ppg vaulted his value to RB five on KTC, placing him just between Christian McCaffrey (RB – SFO) and Saquon Barkley (RB – NYG) in the RB category, and Kyler Murray (QB – ARZ) and Chris Olave (WR – NO) overall.
