Hello, fellow Dynasty leaguers! In this series I will be going through the top-48 WRs in Dynasty, providing stats and insight on them. The WR market can be hard to pick apart because there are so many players in so many situations and so many factors in play. Here I will try to help make it easier by giving my thoughts on some players I find interesting and maybe it can help you navigate the market and find some values. When considering WR Dynasty value there are three main things I look at: a path to accruing value, immediate projectable production, and value insulation. These three things can be applied to every player and I use them often to compare who I value more. To do this I will be using BulletProof ADP and separating the players into tiers. Rapid Reaction: Brandin Cooks to Dallas

Narrative irony is one of the more underrated elements of professional sports leagues. In a poetically hilarious move, the Dallas Cowboys recently acquired journeyman receiver Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans. The deal is eerily similar to a move made last offseason by Dallas, in which star receiver Amari Cooper was shipped off in a cap dump trade for an almost identical package of draft picks. Thus, this move is seemingly a downgrade talent-wise, as well as an admittance that moving on from Cooper in 2022 was the wrong decision. John Metchie III: 2022 Dynasty Profile

A four-star high school recruit who was born in Taiwan, moved to Ghana, and later emigrated to Canada, John Metchie III played his high school ball in the state of Maryland. He logged some game time as a freshman at Alabama, but behind so many NFL talents at WR he didn’t log enough snaps to impress statistically. In 2020 he filled in for an injured Jaylen Waddle and recorded his breakout season. This past season, he earned second-team All-SEC honors with a team-high 96 receptions before suffering a torn ACL in the conference title game and missing the team’s playoff run.

2022 Projections: Dallas Cowboys

When we loosely compare players, most people feel they have a good idea of what kind of production to expect. We may think “CD Lamb can be a top-5 receiver while Michael Gallup scores 13-plus ppg, Jalen Tolbert is useful as a rookie and Dalton Schultz is a top-five tight end.” But, these may just be unrealistic goals to set even for the most pass-friendly offense in the NFL. I make projections to ground myself and help to understand what is actually possible, probable, or realistic. So, in this series, I will be going through each NFL team and making median projections for their 2022 seasons with their most fantasy-relevant players. I may be able to discern if certain players are being undervalued immediately but in most cases, I will need to finish more teams to get a good idea.

Did We Just Witness the Best WR room in College Football History?

Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba combined for 3,600/4,952 (73%) of Ohio State’s team passing yards as well as 34/46 (74%) of total passing TDs. Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson have gone down as two of the best Buckeye receivers ever after going back-to-back in the NFL Draft at number 10 and 11 overall. Jaxon on the other hand, who was the most productive of the three, will be back in Columbus for his junior season where he’s been named a team captain and he’s one of the favorites to bring home the Biletnikoff Award. Let’s take a deeper look into each of these players and why we may have just witnessed the best WR room in the history of college football.

For all but two teams, the NFL season is over. There are no more lineups to set or waiver claims to make, which can only mean one thing: the dynasty offseason is upon us. At this time of year, which is really like its own game within the game, mock drafts are incredibly valuable. They help us to understand how the public perception of players (say that five times fast) has shifted over the past several months. Even if you don’t plan on joining any new startups, a mock draft can help you to identify players–or even whole positions–that are over or undervalued by the community. DFS Week 15 Recap

With a limited amount of options on the main slate, choosing the right players was that much more important in Week 15. Tyler Huntley was forced to step back into the starting role with Lamar Jackson out again this week and boy did he show up. Huntley led all quarterbacks in scoring with 35.9 DK points. His number one weapon was Mark Andrews, who was a slate breaker with 38.6 DK points. With that being said, let’s see how my weekly DFS picks played out!
