Welcome back to the “Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down” series (off-season edition). Free agency has been absolutely chaotic! We as Dynasty Managers need to be evaluating the off-season transactions and thinking about our roster adjustments. Who are we going to target in rookie drafts? DFS Week 13 Recap

We’re now through Week 13 and the craziness has not stopped. The Detroit Lions were able to end their winless season as they upset the Minnesota Vikings with a last-second touchdown. The top team in the AFC went down as the Baltimore Ravens lost a close one against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With that being said, let’s see how my weekly DFS picks played out!

Redraft Waiver Wire Grind: Week 8

We know how valuable starting quarterbacks are in Superflex fantasy football because there are just so few of them, especially when the injuries and bye weeks start to pile up. Joe Flacco just got traded to the Jets after it appears that Zach Wilson is going to be down for a few weeks. Flacco isn’t as great of an option as Newton and Geno because his rushing ability simply does not exist, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be putting some FAAB to acquire a starting quarterback.

Miles Sanders’ stock is dropping, and his fantasy value is in a completely opposite situation than last offseason at this time. The third-year pro put together a somewhat disappointing season in 2020. He played in four fewer games than his rookie year, he hardly outproduced his rushing statistics, and he was simply a non-factor as a receiver out of the backfield. In 2019, he finished as the RB15 in PPR leagues compared to the RB23 in 2020.

There is no time when a draft pick is more valuable than when it is on the clock in your rookie draft. You have the power to select your favorite rookie prospect, but you also have the opportunity to trade the rights to the pick for what you view as more value to a league mate. By the time rookie drafts roll around, the ADP is more or less settled and we are targeting our favorite prospects within their given tier. Wentz There’s a Will There’s a Way

Carson Wentz’s career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Wentz was initially drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles with the second overall pick in the 2016 draft and caught fire almost instantly. In his first year, he set multiple NFL and Eagles’ rookie records and in his second year led the Eagles to an 11-2 record catapulting him into a front runner for league MVP before suffering a torn ACL, ending his season.

Fly Like an Eagle No More: The Doug Pederson Firing

For Doug Pederson, time kept on slippin slippin slippin into the future. A future that no longer includes being the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a tumultuous ending for Pederson as the Eagles finished the season 4-11-1 in the historically bad NFC East. Not to mention the smelly cherry on top of this awful season…the pulling of starting quarterback, Jalen Hurts, in the final fifteen minutes of the season with a playoff spot on the line for the opposing team. He lost the locker room and there was no coming back.

With Pederson gone, the Eagles have a plethora of talent to attract top tier talent. Two intriguing quarterbacks in Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts. Top five running back in yards per carry, Miles Sanders. 2020 first-round pick Jalen Reagor at wide receiver. Finally, emerging star tight end Dallas Goedert will look to officially take the reins from Zach Ertz, who will most likely find a new team this offseason.

Let’s dive into how each of them performed with Pederson at the helm. And whether or not you should expect these Eagles to soar or come crashing down now that he’s gone.

Saquon Barkley: 2021 Dynasty Profile

The Giants drafted Barkley with the second overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, making him one of the highest-drafted running backs in recent memory. Barkley burst onto the scene as a rookie, finishing as the RB1 overall and second in fantasy PPG, behind only Todd Gurley.
