Welcome back, Dynasty family! Today, I’ll be discussing expectations for the Baltimore Ravens offense in 2023 with Todd Monken as the Offensive Coordinator. Monken replaced Greg Roman this offseason after Roman decided to pursue other coaching opportunities. Roman had one year left on his contract, but the Baltimore fanbase was growing impatient with the lack of results on the offensive end. So before we look at Monken’s resume and discuss future projections, I want to dig into Greg Roman’s offensive numbers at Baltimore.

Even the most talented of NFL players can see their fantasy production fall victim to horrid offenses. We’ve seen great football players like D.J. Moore, Jonathan Taylor, or the entire 2022 Broncos’ offense who enter year after year with loads of hype, but ultimately fail to meet our expectations in fantasy football due to the situation of their offense as a whole. Today, we’ll project which NFL offenses could spawn fantasy disappointment in 2023.
A much-overlooked aspect of Dynasty is value comparison, or comparing the values of Dynasty players to Redraft players and seeing which is worth more or less. You might be thinking “well, duh! Of course, older players are worth less in Dynasty than Redraft!” to which I agree. But what about Daniel Jones (QB – NYJ), who is only 25 years old? Should he be worth more in Redraft or Dynasty? Or how about Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR – DEN), who in Redraft has an ADP of WR10, but in Dynasty he’s valued as WR6. Which side more appropriately values players? In this series, which will take place over nine parts (one part for each division and a rookie roundup after the draft), I’ll be evaluating every skill position player on every team and giving my thoughts on their value, whether they are overvalued compared to Redraft or undervalued. Usually, the appropriate value will be somewhere in the middle.
@WillieBeamanDFF reviews two recent Dynasty Startup Drafts and details his strategy based on the 2023 Dynasty Fantasy Football landscape.

I speak for everyone when I say, it took long enough. This was a move that felt inevitable at one point and then doubtful at another but eventually, the deal was done. I must give credit to the Packers’ front office for the stones it took to hold fast waiting for a deal that had to happen. Their ability to hold got them the best possible return they were ever going to get for Rodgers. The Jets needed that deal to go through as well, given their roster is ready to compete with only Zach Wilson in the quarterback room prior to the trade. Alas, we are not here to pour praise upon Brian Gutekunst (Packers GM), we are here to understand the impact this move has on all of our Dynasty assets.
With another NFL Draft in the books, the final piece of the puzzle is now cemented for the final WR1 analytical model grades. We certainly saw a few surprise names early, “Hello, Jonathan Mingo!” and a few names that fell like once heralded five-star prospect Kayshon Boutte. Draft capital is a significant input into the model so we did see some realignment of the names in the re-draft WR1 model top 15 as well as a couple of new entrants.
We’ve seen a lot of movement in Dynasty Player Rankings as the dust settles post-NFL Draft. Landing spots and draft capital can completely change the path to success for rookies and veterans alike. As Dynasty owners, we love to project the future production of fantasy players, and the NFL Draft is a big day where we tweak our rankings and decide whether we’re “out” or “all in” on certain guys. In light of this, I want to cover a few names that may be fool’s gold based on their perceived situation. In this article, we will focus on some players that seemingly “won” the NFL Draft but that I am still avoiding at their respective prices.
Welcome back, Dynasty family! In my previous article, we discussed Dak Prescott’s market value and whether he is a buy or sell in Dynasty leagues. If you didn’t check out that article, you could view it here: Dak Prescott: Buy or Sell? – Dynasty Football Factory. Today, we will drop down a tier or two and discuss Lions’ QB Jared Goff. Is he a reliable QB2 for your roster? What kind of production can we expect from Goff in the future? Let’s dive into some numbers to help answer that question for you.
