When we look at the Giants, it’s easy to get excited, concerned, and confused. When will Malik Nabers (WR – NYG) be back? How good of a season can Jaxson Dart (QB – NYG) have without his number one wide receiver? Is Isaiah Likely (TE – NYG) the best bet to make in the Giants’ offense? Can both Cam Skattebo (RB – NYG) and Tyrone Tracy (RB – NYG) be fantasy viable this season? Is John Harbaugh the missing link to the Giants’ return to glory?

Those are all legitimate questions, concerns, and reasons to be optimistic about the Giants’ offense in fantasy.

Comparing ADP, Dynasty to Redraft: NFC East

A much-overlooked aspect of Dynasty is value comparison, or comparing the values of Dynasty players to Redraft players and seeing which is worth more or less. You might be thinking, “Well, duh! Of course, older players are worth less in Dynasty than Redraft!” I agree! But what about Daniel Jones (QB – NYJ), who is only 26 years old? Should he be worth more in Redraft or Dynasty? Or how about Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR – DEN), who in Redraft has an ADP of WR10, but in Dynasty, he’s valued as WR6. Which side more appropriately values players? In this series, which will take place over eight parts (one part for each division), I’ll evaluate every skill position player on every team and give my thoughts on their value, whether they are overvalued compared to Redraft or undervalued. Usually, the appropriate value will be somewhere in the middle.

As we inch closer to training camp, the fantasy hive-mind begins sorting out how they feel rosters and depth charts will settle by the time we get the regular season. Some spots are easy. Patrick Mahomes will be the QB1 for the Kansas City Chiefs. Some spots are much trickier. The New York Giants WR room is one of the trickiest in the league. A combination of middling veterans and unproven youth cause this group to be underwhelming. Despite no true superstars, someone will have to catch passes from Daniel Jones. Who will it be? 2023 DFF Draft Coverage: Bryce Ford-Wheaton to the Giants

Bryce Ford-Wheaton went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, but he was quickly signed as a UDFA by the New York Giants. Originally a three-star recruit from North Carolina, Ford-Wheaton is a former track star that ultimately chose a football career when he arrived at West Virginia University in 2018. After redshirting the 2018 season, the speedy receiver made an immediate impact in his seven games played in 2019. Although he didn’t receive a ton of opportunities, he did produce a solid 16.8 yards per reception rate throughout the season. After a couple seasons, where he improved throughout, Ford-Wheaton turned some heads during his Senior season. He hauled in 62 receptions for 675 yards and seven touchdowns. His seven receiving touchdowns were tied for second in the Big 12. Ford-Wheaton also finished third in the conference in total receptions and 10th in receiving yards.

Best Rookie Landing Spots

Can’t you feel the excitement as we get closer to the draft? With free agency winding down, we now start to see the core of what each of these NFL teams will look like when we get into the fall. There is still one more piece to the puzzle though and if you play dynasty then it is probably amongst your favorite NFL events of the year—the NFL Draft. While I have learned not to take too much from the landing spot, I think many of us are still hurting from Clyde Edwards-Helaire in 2020. It does have an impact though and we would be foolish to ignore it. I find the best practice is to have everyone divided into tiers before the NFL Draft, then move players within a tier instead of jumping them an entire tier based on landing spot. We also have draft capital to consider but that is beyond the scope of what we will be discussing today. Let’s dig in!
