IDP Wrap Up: Week 12

Rasul Douglas had another remarkable game at cornerback against Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams. In his effort, Douglas accrued six total tackles, defended four passes, and took an interception to the house in Lambeau Field on Sunday. Douglas is a great option in BestBall leagues and is in a prime position to contribute in the IDP playoffs.

IDP Wrap Up: Week 8

The Jaguars drafted Josh Allen seventh overall in the 2019 NFL draft. That pick is paying big dividends for Jacksonville this season. The edge rusher is producing top defensive end performances consistently, with Week 8 being no exception. Allen’s slash line included six total tackles, four TFLs, and two sacks against the Seahawks. IDP managers can continue to start Allen as an elite edge rusher in all formats.

IDP Wrap Up: Week 4

The Buffalo Bills pitched a shutout playing against a depleted Houston offense Sunday in New York. Week 5 will be a lot tougher, as the team has to square off against the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs, but this week the Buffalo defenders dominated. In the effort, the team defense created three sacks, a fumble recovery, and four interceptions to secure the win. IDP players of note for the Bills include Tremaine Edmunds, Cam Lewis, and Star Lotulelei.

Against The Spread: Week 4

The most exciting game of the week was when the Chargers traveled to Kansas City for a matchup between two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. Justin Herbert came out of the gates strong, building an early 14-0 lead in the first half. The comeback that was expected from Patrick Mahomes, was delivered in the third quarter with consecutive passing scores to take a 17-14 lead. The fourth quarter of this game may have been the most exciting 15 minutes of football this season.

2021 Redraft: Isaac’s Positional “My Guys”

As draft season inches closer, it’s important to have an idea of who you want to target and when you want to target them on draft day. Below, you will find a list of “My Guys” who I will be heavily targeting at their respective ADPs in all of my redraft leagues. Keep in mind, you want to make sure you are drafting players for positional value, instead of reaching and potentially diminishing your team’s chances right out the gate. Without further adieu, let’s get started.

Searching for RB Deep Stashes

In dynasty, one of the most under-appreciated assets is the bench stash running back. These cheap assets can climb up depth charts and become useful to either your starting lineup or for trade. These types of players can be acquired for a fourth-round rookie pick or less in most leagues but can return a second-rounder or more in trades if they become a starter. Even if it’s only for a couple of weeks. For example, last season I was able to trade Ryan Nall and a third-round rookie pick for a second-round rookie pick when he took over for David Montgomery. The hardest part is finding which players are the best bets to not only remain on a team but also climb a depth chart. This article will go over certain metrics you can look for when deciding between these late-round or free-agent RBs.

DFF Draft Coverage: Kylin Hill to the Packers

Kylin Hill does a lot of things very well. He might now be elite in any one trait, but he doesn’t show many weaknesses on tape. His running style is aggressive and he finishes off runs with violence. He has a second gear that he can hit when he sees space. There isn’t a lot of tape on Hill in 2020, but from what I did see in the LSU game, he has a lot of potential as a runner.

DFF Draft Coverage: Amari Rodgers to the Packers

Amari Rodgers played four full seasons with Clemson, and he didn’t produce high-level statistics until his Senior season. In his four-year college career, Rodgers produced a total of 181 receptions for 2,144 yards and 15 touchdowns. After his Freshman season, we caught glimpses of Rodgers starting to mold into a college star. He caught 55 passes for 575 yards and four touchdowns during his sophomore season. Unfortunately, he took a step back and caught 25 fewer passes and only produced 426 yards and four touchdowns his Junior year. Finally, he took over as one of the best pass-catchers in the nation in his final season at Clemson. He produced career-highs in receptions (77), receiving yards (1,020), and receiving touchdowns (7). His 1,020 receiving yards placed him 10th amongst all wide receivers in Division 1 last season. He has the talent and experience to become a reliable target and return specialist at the pro level.

Best Fantasy Destinations for Will Fuller

As the start of NFL free agency inches closer, now is an excellent time to explore some landing spots that could boost Will Fuller’s outlook. The speedy wideout will be entering his sixth season and is coming off a year cut short due to a six-game PED suspension after Week 12. Fuller was on pace for a monster season, posting career-highs in receptions, yards, and TDs to the tune of 53/879/8 in 11 games played. He was the WR8 in PPR scoring during that stretch. The suspension came at a crucial time in the fantasy season as those who owned him had to find a way to replace that production heading into the fantasy playoffs.

Where Will Aaron Jones Land?

Heady Mafia, the franchise tag option deadline for NFL teams has come and past and you know what that means. Chaos and bedlam all over the place! Now, most people will just give you a list of teams that this player might sign with and others give teams that can offer the most money but let’s be honest. Only one thing matters to us. Fantasy production. In particular, fantasy production for the hottest running back on the market and the one I own in most of my dynasty leagues, Aaron Jones (AJ33).

The IDP Unseen: Part Three

In this series of articles, we discuss some players from each defensive position group that are poised to break out this season. These players should put up a floor of respectable, fantasy starting lineup stat lines with the potential for positional top-15 ceilings. These are players that can be drafted or acquired with minimal draft capital in most full IDP leagues. An examination of the factors promoting these ascending players will take place in each article. Remarkably, there are quite a few players that are among the “IDP unseen,” as of now. The series began with the defensive line last offseason, followed by linebackers a few weeks ago.
