Let’s talk about Tyler Allgeier, one of the most underrated bench stashes in all of Dynasty and Redraft right now. He’s going late in the double-digit rounds of most startup drafts, if he’s even being drafted at all in shallower formats, and that’s exactly the kind of profile I want to scoop before the rest of the league catches on. If you’re rostering Bijan Robinson he’s a must. But even if you’re not, Allgeier is one of the best handcuff values you can grab and stash right now.

A rookie rewind is a way of gauging the value change of rookies from pre-season to post-season. It not only discusses the value change but also examines why the value changed. All of the quarterback value data comes from KeepTradeCut, as it crowdsources information in real time. Many of the statistics are sourced from ProFootballFocus (PFF).

In startup drafts, I believe it’s best to focus on RBs with contingent value in the later rounds, as it’s much more likely that these backups will hit your starting lineup than someone like Alec Pierce or Cedric Tillman. It only takes one injury for handcuff RBs to catapult into bell cow roles and potentially league-winning roles for your fantasy team. The 70th-best WR or 25th-best TE is much less likely to give you viable productivity during the season; too much would have to go right for them. As an example, Cedric Tillman (the current WR69, according to Bulletproofff.com) would need multiple injuries to the Browns’ receiving corps to see consistent targets in 2023. Even then, it would be unreasonable to expect Tillman to replicate the production of Amari Cooper.

The NFL Draft is one of the more polarizing events during the NFL offseason. Rookies are coming into the league for a chance at prominent roles right out of the gate for NFL teams looking to upgrade their positions in order to strengthen their squads. This is also important for fantasy managers. As we get closer and closer to league drafts or rookie drafts in Dynasty leagues, new rookies impact the fantasy value of veteran players on football rosters across the league. This can also make offseason trades more difficult.

Every year in fantasy football, we see a handful of players that far exceed their projected fantasy output and help carry fantasy owners to a league championship. Last year, Josh Jacobs, Amari Cooper, and Jamaal Williams were a few names that outperformed expectations and were integral to many fantasy championship rosters. As Dynasty owners, we are always looking for market inefficiencies, trying to acquire that asset that could skyrocket in value. At the same time, we have to find a balance between immediate production and longevity. In this article, I’m giving you one name from each skill position that is currently being undervalued and could become that “league-winner” for your team, either in 2023 or in the future. I will also discuss each player’s outlook from a dynasty perspective and whether it makes sense for you to buy based on roster construction.

We’ve seen a lot of movement in Dynasty Player Rankings as the dust settles post-NFL Draft. Landing spots and draft capital can completely change the path to success for rookies and veterans alike. As Dynasty owners, we love to project the future production of fantasy players, and the NFL Draft is a big day where we tweak our rankings and decide whether we’re “out” or “all in” on certain guys. In light of this, I want to cover a few names that may be fool’s gold based on their perceived situation. In this article, we will focus on some players that seemingly “won” the NFL Draft but that I am still avoiding at their respective prices.

The Dynasty Startup Draft is a pivotal day in your Dynasty career, laying the foundation for your team’s future success. Properly valuing players and making quality picks can immediately create distance between you and your league mates. A successful draft could give you the upper hand, while a poorly constructed team could result in years of rebuilding. To avoid getting off to a slow start, I’m giving you my list of mid-to-late-round players to target in your next startup draft. I’ve based my player values on a Dynasty PPR Superflex, Tight-End Premium League.

Rookie scouting season is here and everyone is starting to research and prep for their rookie drafts. In this series, I will go through my process and scout different players for the incoming 2023 class. My process is mainly through an analytical view. This means I am thinking about hit rates, range of outcomes, and probabilities. I favor these things over whether I think the player is talented because that is not only subjective but also difficult. This consistent, numbers-only process allows me to play the odds and hit more than I miss with these rookies. So follow along as I go through Tulane running back, Tyjae Spears.

Goff exploded last week against Seattle throwing for 378 yards and four touchdowns leading him to be the fifth highest scoring QB this year. What a difference a year can make! And in a game where he was missing Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark, and D’Andre Swift nonetheless. It was an incredible show, but now he must take his Lions into New England, where Bill Belichick is known for making it tough on the opposing team’s best players.

I do not like the Falcons’ offense for fantasy, they will play slow, they will not score many touchdowns, and they will not pass the ball much. The only asset worth spending a high pick on is Kyle Pitts. I could see myself owning some Patterson, Allgeier, and Mariota though as I think they will be fairly cheap options. I do think London may be over-drafted though, given the recent rookie WR production and not thinking about how inept this offense may be. I have Mariota as a mid to high QB2, Patterson as a high RB3, Allgeier as a low RB4, London as a mid WR3, Edwards and Olamide are not on my board, and Pitts as a mid to high TE1. Hopefully, this offense is good and passes a lot in 2022 but I would not bet on it.
