Welcome to your Week 10 edition of Dynasty Starts/Sits. We’re getting into the home stretch of the season. Some teams are still in the hunt, some are completely out of the race, and others are sitting pretty atop the standings. Whatever your needs are, look no further. We’ll get you right for your matchups this week.
Starts – Quarterbacks
C.J. Stroud – Houston Texans
@ Cincinnati Bengals
Stroud was a start for me last week and did not disappoint. The Bengals are an average Defense that is reeling. They’re allowing the third most Passing yards in the league over their last three games. Look for Stroud to pick up right where he left off last week.
Taylor Heinicke – Atlanta Falcons
Vs. Arizona Cardinals
Taylor Heinicke on my start list in back-to-back weeks is certainly something. I love this matchup for him. Arizona is allowing the eighth most fantasy points to QBs this year. Last week, he finished as the QB13 against a better Minnesota defense. I expect a similar finish this week.
Will Levis – Tennessee Titans
@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Levis had somewhat of an underwhelming game last week. He posted a QB21 week against a solid Pittsburgh Defense. He turns things around this week against Tampa Bay, who were victims to C.J. Stroud last week.

Sits – Quarterbacks
Jordan Love — Green Bay Packers
@ Pittsburgh Steelers
Love has been putting up decent numbers since Green Bay’s bye week. However, that is likely going to change in week ten. He has been prone to turning the ball over, throwing eight interceptions in his last six games. The Steelers are the best defense Love has faced this season. It’s probably best to leave him on the bench this week.
Kenny Pickett – Pittsburgh Steelers
Vs. Green Bay Packers
It’s going to be a long day in Pittsburgh this week. Both teams boast unentertaining offenses and solid defenses. Pickett’s highest finish this year is QB14, and he’s facing a defense allowing the third-fewest points to QBs. I’m staying away from this matchup across the board.
Deshaun Watson – Cleveland Browns
@ Baltimore Ravens
Watson is going to have a hard time being fantasy-relevant this week. He looked decent last week, but he was facing Arizona, so I wouldn’t put much stock in that. The Cleveland passing attack has been disappointing this year, and Baltimore has been the worst fantasy matchup for QBs. Watson is hard to trust this week. If you have another option, I’d use it.

Starts – Running Backs
Tyler Allgeier — Atlanta Falcons
@ Arizona Cardinals
I’m trying to avoid the most obvious plays here, so instead of Bijan, I’m rolling with Allgeier. Volume is king, and however unwarranted it is, Allgeier gets it. That and a matchup against the third-best fantasy opponent for RBs earns him a spot on my start list.
James Cook – Buffalo Bills
Vs. Denver Broncos
This week could be when we finally get a James Cook legacy game. The Broncos have been a godsend for fantasy RBs this year. The Leonard Fournette signing was more dooming for Latavious Murray than for James Cook. He’s still going to be a featured part of this offense. Consider Cook to be a top-15 RB play this week.
Chuba Hubbard — Carolina Panthers
@ Chicago Bears
The collapse of Miles Sanders is something to be studied. Hubbard is reaping all the benefits right now. You should start one of the Carolina RBs, and I’ll take the guy coming off three straight games with 17+ touches.

Sits – Running Backs
Devin Singletary — Houston Texans
@ Cincinnati Bengals
Singletary got his first taste of being the full-time starter in Houston last week. He had season highs in snap share 75% and carries 13, culminating in an RB42 finish. Houston requires major Running scheme reform right now. Dameon Pierce and Singletary have been as ineffective as it gets all season. Please find someone else to start this week.
Kareem Hunt – Cleveland Browns
@ Baltimore Ravens
There’s a many sits in this game, and one of the biggest is Kareem Hunt. Hunt has finished as top-20 RB in each of his last four games. That streak is likely to end this week. Baltimore’s defense presents tough matchups for all fantasy positions. Assuming Ford sees the majority of rushing work, Hunt must see season highs in the passing game to be a viable fantasy option this week.
Alexander Mattison – Minnesota Vikings
Vs. New Orleans Saints
Mattison bucked the trend of performing poorly against good defenses last week. However, this is Minnesota we’re talking about, and two good things can’t happen in a row. Mattiosons was saved by a receiving touchdown last week; otherwise, he had a pedestrian game. New Orleans is allowing the 6th fewest fantasy points to RBs this season. It’s probably best to avoid Mattison this week.

Starts – Wide Receivers
George Pickens – Pittsburgh Steelers
Vs. Green Bay Packers
Pickens will finally get his wish and be free this Sunday against Green Bay. This Packers team has been stingy against WRs this season, but Pickens is a contested catch machine. When this offense inevitably becomes stagnant in this matchup, Pickett will likely resort to throwing up 50/50 balls to the guy who’s one of the best at them. This week isn’t the week to hop off the bandwagon.
Courtland Sutton – Denver Broncos
@ Buffalo Bills
Sutton WILL have a bounce-back game this week. Buffalo sits in the league’s top half in fantasy points allowed to WRs on the season. However, they’ve been susceptible in the air recently, allowing the sixth most passing yards and touchdowns over their last three games. Sutton currently leads the league in Red zone touchdowns this season. He’s a smart bet for a touchdown this week.
Christian Kirk — Jacksonville Jaguars
Vs. San Francisco 49ers
Last week, Kirk had his worst fantasy performance since week one. I’m calling it a fluke. San Francisco allows the 8th most fantasy points to slot WRs this season. Kirk is running the fourth most snaps out of the slot this season. Don’t fret over last week. Kirk has an excellent opportunity to make up for it this week.
Tank Dell — Houston Texans
@ Cincinnati Bengals
If you’re not sold on Tank Dell yet, you should be. For a guy his size to play more than 75% of his snaps out wide is impressive. He’s finished as a top-20 WR in three of the five games with a 60% snap share. The Cincinnati offense is finally starting to click, so I wouldn’t be shocked if this is the highest-scoring matchup on the slate this week.

Sits – Wide Receivers
Jakobi Meyers – Las Vegas Raiders
Vs. New York Jets
There are just too many factors going against Meyers this week. The Jets have been the best passing defense over the last three games. They’re giving up the fewest yards and touchdowns in that span. Meyers’s performance last week was saved by a 17-yard rushing touchdown. Beyond that, he’s totaled three catches in the previous two games. Until O’Connell shows more interest in getting Meyers the ball, managers should look for a more reliable option.
Zay Flowers — Baltimore Ravens
Vs. Cleveland Browns
Flowers is the next victim of the battle of top defenses I want no part of. In full-PPR leagues, I’ll consider him, but in half-point leagues, it’s a hard pass for me. Flowers failed to record five fantasy points in back-to-back games, and unfortunately, this matchup is not where he gets back on track.
Tyler Boyd — Cincinnati Bengals
Vs. Houston Texans
This selection is a simple one. Boyd currently leads the league in routes run out of the slot, and Houston allows the fifth-fewest fantasy points to slot WRs this season. Boyd will be primarily reliant on a touchdown to be fantasy-relevant this week.

Starts – Tight Ends
Taysom Hill – New Orleans Saints
@ Minnesota Vikings
Taysom Hill scores fantasy points in so many different ways it doesn’t make sense. He’s finished as a top-10 TE in the last four weeks. I know he’s completely unpredictable, but you have to ride the hot hand in this TE landscape.
Trey McBride – Arizona Cardinals
Vs. Atlanta Falcons
Well, the Trey McBride experiment failed us last week. However, I’m stubborn and persistent, so we’re going right back at it. McBride finally gets Kyler back this week, who’s been great for him and Ertz. Atlanta has also been a solid matchup for TEs in recent weeks, so it’s a great week to start Mcbride, even if he doesn’t change the Landscape of the position.
Dalton Kincaid – Buffalo Bills
Vs. Denver Broncos
It would be best to start Kincaid regardless of the opponent permanently. He’s become an integral part of the Buffalo offense while Dawson Knox is out, with 10+ fantasy points in the last three weeks. He is steadily climbing the Dynasty ranks and is on the cusp of being a top-5 Dynasty TE.

Sits – Tight Ends
Cade Otton — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Vs. Tennessee Titans
Don’t be fooled by last week’s TE3 finish from Otton. He saw a season-high in Targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He is unlikely to replicate last week’s production against a Tennesse defense, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to TEs this year.
Kyle Pitts — Atlanta Falcons
@ Arizona Cardinals
Even in the best matchups this season, Pitts has underperformed. In nine games, Pitts has only posted 8+ fantasy points in two. He’s too unreliable to continue trotting out in your lineups. He’s a sit until Arthur Smith decides he wants to feature the highest-drafted TE ever.
