Rookie Recap: Lions’ Rookies Gibbs and LaPorta Show Promise in Season Debut

The anticipation of the very first game of the NFL season was apparent. Me and my kids made sure to have everything done in the house before the game came on and they even got to watch a little before going to bed. But I’m sure that it was the same for many longing for the return of football. We got to see the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football. Rapid Reaction: JT Requests a Trade

Every NFL offseason seems to come with its controversies, and this year’s theme seems to be the “devaluing of the running back position”, as many NFL owners have quietly taken the stance to not pay for the running back position. This is also important for fantasy managers. As we get closer and closer to league drafts or rookie drafts in Dynasty leagues, new rookies impact the fantasy value of veteran players on football rosters across the league. This can also make offseason trades more difficult.
