In Dynasty Fantasy Football, there’s an added layer of strategy that Redraft formats can’t provide. Creating a team with longevity that can compete year in and year out is the ultimate goal. It’s essential to look beyond the current season and understand where our assets are trending in the long run. Dynasty is very much a player-value game; if you can master the art of buying low and selling high, you can accrue roster value consistently. With the concept of longevity in mind, I wanted to project what the Dynasty landscape will look like two years from today. Which players will make up the Top 12 from each position as we head into the 2027 season? This exercise should help us identify the top ascending assets in college and the NFL today. It should also tell us which players we may want to consider moving in the next year or two. This series will be broken into four parts for each fantasy position. All my rankings will be based on a Dynasty, Superflex, Tight End Premium format with four-point passing touchdowns. We’ll start with the quarterback position for this article.

The NFL Draft Combine is in the books. We are officially in the thick of the draft season. Today, we will break down three ideal landing spots for two of the top running backs entering the NFL Draft that may also influence NFL picks down the line. I have these RBs ranked third and fourth entering draft season at their position.
The DFF Team volleys content ideas regularly in search of compelling articles at pertinent times. And though we’ve found our focus primarily on the 2025 NFL Rookie Prospects as of late, I asked the squad to pull together a mock start-up for the first five rounds. As the ideas started to percolate, @FFChalmers threw out the notion to not only cover the genesis of a startup draft, as we have done so many times in the past, but this time to make it an actual league. A bunch of us looked around the room and said, “Duh,” – so the DFF Dynasty League of Record was born (not to be confused with the other 5-6 DFF Leagues currently in operation). Welcome back for our second edition of the 2025 Rookie Prospect Faceoff, where we’ll compare quarterbacks Cameron Ward and Shedeur Sanders head-to-head for Dynasty purposes and potentially two guys who could be sleepers in Daily Fantasy NFL in 2025. Ward and Sanders are generally considered the Top 2 QBs in this draft class and a tier of their own. (With Jalen Milroe declaring for the NFL Draft, one could make an argument he belongs in this tier as well, given his rushing upside.) There’s no denying this 2025 quarterback class appears to be much weaker than the 2024 class, but in Superflex formats, these two signal-callers should still be early-to-mid first-round picks in our rookie drafts, as they are both projected to be Top 10 picks in the NFL Draft. Which quarterback has better odds of becoming a difference-maker on our Dynasty rosters? Let’s find out.

I’ve always been a guy who prefers my information live rather than on film if I can. With so many games to watch and players to monitor, I find it difficult to keep track of all the Devy and C2C assets in my rankings. For self-organization, I like to make notes while I’m watching the games of important college players. The idea behind this weekly article series is to provide a window into my player notes (hence the name) and give readers something that is both comprehensive and easy to digest. Anyone can look at the box scores of these college games, but I am here to shed some light on what I am seeing in real time. At the end of each article, I will also compile a list of players I will be keying in on in the following week of college football so you know which games to turn your attention to.

Injuries are unpredictable, but they are a part of football nonetheless. We’ve all been in a situation where one of our contending rosters gets hit by the injury bug, crushing our championship aspirations. It’s a part of Dynasty football. But one way to help leverage our Dynasty bets our FanDuel Football Bets, and potentially benefit from in-season injuries is to roster players with contingent value, meaning someone slated for a large workload if the starter goes down.
2023 was not the fantasy year that the Carolina Panthers were hoping for. The Carolina Panthers sent the Chicago Bears the ninth overall pick in 2023, the 61st overall pick in 2023, a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 second-round pick, and D.J. Moore for the first overall selection in the 2023 draft. The Carolina Panthers then selected Bryce Young out of the University of Alabama as their franchise quarterback—the first staple at the position since the Panthers selected Cam Newton first overall in 2011. The fairy tale did not come to fruition in 2023.
