Week 9 Dynasty Waiver Wire

Hello DFF members, my name is Chris and this year I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that, who I think should be owned significantly more, I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the waiver adds.

J.K. Dobbins Injury Rapid Reaction

We were so close to the regular season. So close. Most starters sat on the bench during week three of the preseason as it was treated much like preseason week four in past years, but for one team that chose to play their starters, the consequence was dire. Baltimore Ravens second-year running back J.K. Dobbins has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the 2021 season according to Adam Schefter.

Dynasty Story: Devin Singletary

In a dynasty story, I’ll look at a single player and how his value has fluctuated over time, starting from their college profile. I’ll factor in his NFL stats and generally discuss what he did in each of his NFL seasons. Then, I’ll look at his 2020 prospects before wrapping it up with a final recommendation and dynasty strategy.  Today, it’s time for a deep dive into Devin Singletary. Let’s jump right in!

Today, it’s time for a deep dive into Dante Pettis. Is there any hope for a revival in his value, or is Pettis done? Let’s jump right in!

#TomBomb: Baltimore Ravens

No doubt, you probably had to double back to make sure this was a “buy-low” column. Don’t worry, Old Tom fully understands your confusion. I’ll say this, your potential shock factor is going to be off the charts when you get to number one. See, here’s something I always like to remember. The phrase “buying low” is of course a relative one. Given Old Tom’s self-proclaimed foundation of simplicity and subjectivity, I enjoy a good bit of relativism from time to time. With that said, Marquise Brown is an individual I feel is well worth his current price, as it will rise much higher in the coming months and consequently years.

Redraft Team Focus: Ravens

I’m analyzing every one of the 32 NFL teams and all of their redraft-relevant fantasy assets in this article series. It’s a long project, but I want to make sure that you, the reader, have something you can refer to for every team. For each article, I’ll split up the fantasy assets into three categories: high-end assets, usable contributors, and dart throws. Let’s jump into the Ravens.

Rookie RB Hits and Misses: Part 2

Ingram led the way with 202 carries, with Edwards in second with 133 carries. Hill lagged with just 58 carries. Hill also only had eight receptions in all of 2019, a major disappointment for a player with highly touted passing-game skills. Edwards, who has almost no pass-catching ability, finished with seven receptions, just one less than Hill. Hill played in all 16 games, so his poor stats were not due to injury. He also played on only 17% of offensive snaps.

Pre-Draft Roster Moves: Part 1

I am going to touch on a few players that I think you should make moves on, either trading away or trading for, before the NFL Draft. These are players who I believe will have significant value changes once their team completes the draft. Looking ahead and capitalizing on values in the offseason can set your team up for success come next fall.

Diamonds in the Rough: Rookie Sleepers AFC North

Let’s face certain realities before we get started. When it comes to rookies and evaluating them in any sport, we have no idea what we’re doing. That includes the professional teams and personnel that actually earn a living on evaluating players, going through the process of meeting them at a scouting combine, and selecting them

NFL Draft Late Round Sleepers: Running backs

And just like that, the 2019 NFL draft has concluded. The draft is that time of the year for NFL fan bases to be eternally optimistic. Now, we must digest and pick apart the new players on their respective teams. According to Rich Hribar of Rotoworld, 49% of the players drafted this past weekend will
