Hello DFF members, my name is Chris, and I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece this year. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that, who I think should be owned significantly more I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado let’s get into the waiver adds. 

Jelani Woods, TE IND – 23.21% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 5%

Jelani Woods was one of my favorite rookie TEs this season and TE3 in my rookie ranks. I did not expect him to put forth a meaningful performance this early, but I did expect he could eventually find a role in this Colts offense. With his two touchdown catches in Sunday’s game I think this shows Woods has made a good rapport and built some trust with Matt Ryan, especially in the red zone. This is worth grabbing as a dynasty stash you could start in a pinch.

Gus Edwards, RB BAL – 19.14% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 15%

Gus Edwards should be owned in 100% of leagues in my opinion. If he can return from his previous season injuries to 100% health he will be very involved and productive in this Ravens’ rush attack. We already see the team growing tired of old plodders Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake who combined for 0 touches this week. If Gus comes back healthy he should slide in as the number two back and help get this Ravens run offense rolling.

Brandon Bolden, RB LVR – 18.51% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 3%

Weird stories in Las Vegas this weekend. First, reports come out that Josh Jacobs will not be traveling by plane with the team and therefore missing their week three game. Then a few days later we hear that Jacobs flew himself to Tennessee and ends up playing in the game. Did the team not want him there and he forced the issue? We have already seen a lot of smoke about the Raiders not liking and wanting to trade Josh Jacobs. If Jacobs becomes inactive or leaves the team, it opens a wide hole for Brandon Bolden to see more touches. Especially when you consider Josh McDaniels brought Bolden with him from New England to Las Vegas, if you are a running back and have the favor of the coaches, you will see the ball.

Mack Hollins, WR LVR – 10.97% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 4%

Mack Hollins showed out in Hunter Renfrow’s absence this week, with an eight reception, 158 receiving yards, and one touchdown performance. Renfrow will likely not miss much more time but Hollins is still worth grabbing. If any of Renfrow, Adams, or Waller misses more time we could see another big game from Mack. This alone makes him worth a dynasty stash. And who knows, maybe the coaches will see this great performance and give him a weekly role. Las Vegas is a meritocracy, and the best players will be on the field.

Justice Hill, RB BAL – 9.12% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 10%

Hill was a guy I was hearing a lot about in the preseason and training camp looking more explosive than ever. And it showed on the field this Sunday. Hill looked great and completely took the other Ravens’ backs, besides J.K. Dobbins, out of the coaches’ minds. Hill will be a great guy to have in case Gus does not look good in his return from injury, but also until Gus returns as we still have no actual timetable on that. 

Craig Reynolds, RB DET – 7.23% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 8%

With D’Andre Swift looking like he will miss the next two weeks, Craig Reynolds is all of a sudden the number two back in this Lions offense. An offense, which is currently top two in the league in touchdowns scored. If something were to happen to Jamaal Williams we would have a starter on our hands here. Great insurance play that you can get for cheap.
