Week 12 Streamers

In this streaming article, I will provide you the best weekly options to stream quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. In each section, Iโ€™ll break down two streamers in detail, both of which will be under 50% owned, according to ESPNโ€™s ownership percentage at the time of writing. Playing the matchups is a crucial feature of redraft fantasy football, and especially in a crazy 2020 season, active fantasy owners will have a massive advantage.

Looking Ahead to Week 12

In this weekly article, Iโ€™m going to look ahead to the following week. Iโ€™ll point out a few players below 40% owned on ESPN who have strong matchups next week that you can pick up ahead of time to beat the waiver run. Iโ€™ll also try and get ahead of breakouts that could happen in the current week, as predicting breakouts is the best way to save your FAAB budget. Since most of these additions will occur on the weekend, Iโ€™ll exclude any players from the Thursday night game, as you wonโ€™t be able to add them to your rosters. This season more than any other, itโ€™s essential to remain active and stay ahead of your league mates.

Start/Sit Week 11

Each and every week, Iโ€™ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Hereโ€™s who you should be looking at for Week 11.

Jameis Winston is expected to start for the Saints while Drew Brees recovers from fractured ribs. Despite his propensity for interceptions, Winston has been an incredibly relevant fantasy option in recent years. Heโ€™s stepping into an ideal matchup against the Falcons, who have allowed 300 passing yards in eight of nine games this season. Heโ€™s at least a low-end QB1 this week.

Start/Sit Week 8

Each and every week, Iโ€™ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Hereโ€™s who you should be looking at for Week 8.

If Miles Sanders is forced to miss another week, Boston Scott is a must-start. He handled 70% of the Eaglesโ€™ RB opportunities against the Giants in Week 7, racking up over 90 total yards and scoring the game-winning TD. The Cowboysโ€™ defense has been abused at every turn this season, and Scott has a three-down skillset. Donโ€™t overthink this one.

Start/Sit Week 7

Each and every week, Iโ€™ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Hereโ€™s who you should be looking at for Week 7. In terms of points per game, Justin Herbert is the QB8. Through four games, Herbert has 10 total TDs, and heโ€™s averaging nearly 300 passing yards per game. You can trust the rookie against Jacksonvilleโ€™s atrocious defense in Week 7.

Week 7 Streamers

Herbert has been nothing short of spectacular, averaging 21.8 fantasy points/game as the Chargersโ€™ starting quarterback. In Week 5 against the Saints, Herbert threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns, finishing with 27.4 fantasy points on the week. Herbert also adds a bit of value with his legs, although he only averages 13.8 rushing yards/game. However, even a few rushing yards can make the difference at the quarterback positions, as QB scoring is tight outside of the top options. In Week 7, Herbert draws a dream matchup against the Jaguarsโ€™ porous defense. Theyโ€™ve given up 30 or more points in every game since Week 1 in five straight losses. Opposing quarterbacks average two touchdowns, 274 passing yards, and a 106.8 passer rating versus the Jaguars. I expect Herbert to carve up the Jaguars in this game, and I have Herbert ranked as a borderline QB1 for the week.

Hunter Renfrow: 2020 Dynasty Profile

The Raiders selected Renfrow in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Clemson. At the time, the Raiders had Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams as their primary outside receivers, but they didnโ€™t have any underneath or over the middle weapons. Tight end Darren Waller eventually emerged as their top target, but we didnโ€™t know that when they picked Renfrow.

Derek Carr: 2020 Dynasty Profile

The Raiders selected Carr with the 36th overall pick in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. They had recently signed veteran free agent Matt Schaub as their starting quarterback, but they expected Carr to compete for the job. However, Carr quickly won the job out of camp, opening the season as the starter. Carr didnโ€™t play so well as a rookie, and he wasnโ€™t fantasy-relevant outside of superflex leagues.

NFL Player Props: Week 3

In this article, I look at three player props that I feel have a strong chance of paying out. This article will run the gamut and will include bets such as โ€˜passing yard totalsโ€™, โ€˜first player to scoreโ€™, and even โ€˜total tacklesโ€™ for those who love defense. In addition, I will also make one โ€œLongshot Pick of the Weekโ€. This pick will always feature a more difficult bet that has a greater than 2:1 payout. The odds may be tougher, but if youโ€™re into some fun player props take a peek!

Week 1 Streamers

In this streaming article, I will provide you the best weekly options to stream quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. In each section, Iโ€™ll break down two streamers in detail, both of which will be under 50% owned, according to ESPNโ€™s ownership percentage at the time of writing. Playing the matchups is a crucial feature of redraft fantasy football and, especially in a crazy 2020 season, active fantasy owners will have a massive advantage. I also want to provide added value for each type of streamer this season. Iโ€™ll highlight any players from 50-60% owned in each section if theyโ€™re superior options to both of my streaming candidates at that specific position. Those players are โ€œprobably owned,โ€ but they could be out there in 10-team or shallower formats. I wonโ€™t offer analysis on these players, just the names and matchups. If neither of my two suggested streamers is under 25% ownership percentage, I will give a โ€œsuper-deepโ€ option. That feature should help those owners playing in deeper leagues with few waiver-wire options. Like the โ€œprobably ownedโ€ players, Iโ€™ll list the players without analysis. I realize that all leagues are different, and I want to accommodate all of my readers.

Even though itโ€™s Week 1, many fantasy drafts happened a while ago, and now fantasy owners are looking for streamers. Letโ€™s jump into it!

Vegas Receivers Smart Bet

#TomBomb: Las Vegas Raiders

You know, itโ€™s funny. I remember lounging in my La-Z-Boy recliner almost one year ago, to the day, and seeing Darren Wallerโ€™s name amongst 2020s predicted top 10 TEโ€™s, by some of the very best in the industry. My initial reaction was to scoop him up, wherever possible. After this happened though, I immediately found myself wanting to trade him for a lofty return. However, bad luck hit when I found myself as the lone believer, in most of my leagues. Eventually, I concluded that Waller was just another dart throw and I wanted to invest in a much higher-ceilinged asset. Oh, the folly of man. Well, as luck would have it, Mr. Waller not only lived up to his lofty expectations, he surpassed them by clocking in as your 2019 TE3 (PPR).ย

Vegas Receivers Smart Bet

Vegas Receivers: Where’s the Smart Bet?

The Raiders have one of the muddiest receiving groups in the NFL, with a quagmire of options. Based on their dynasty values, Iโ€™ll take a look at all the receiving options and give you the smart bet for 2020 and beyond. I already broke down the entire Raidersโ€™ offense for redraft purposes, but I want to take more of a dynasty slant, focusing on the receiving group.

DFF Rookie Round Table, Part 6: Bryan Edwards

We debated the rankings on Jalen Reagor, Henry Ruggs, Tee Higgins, Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, AJ Dillon, Bryan Edwards, Antonio Gandy-Golden, Zack Moss, and Joshua Kelley. We also touched upon players in their range, and who should be ascending or descending. I want to give a big thanks to everyone who contributed to this series of articles. I urge you to go follow them on twitter.ย  Read the whole series for a number of opinions on players who could win you fantasy championships for years to come. This is Part 6 of the series, where @ff_spaceman and I discuss rookie Bryan Edwards.

Redraft Team Focus: Raiders

Carr wasnโ€™t as bad as some might think in 2019, as he finished as the QB14, ahead of players like Baker Mayfield, Kirk Cousins, and Philip Rivers. However, because he played all 16 games while some other quarterbacks missed games, he only finished 22nd with 15.3 fantasy PPG, which is not impressive. The Raiders also signed Marcus Mariota to a significant contract to back up Carr, which demonstrates that they donโ€™t completely trust him. Carr is only a streamer with no upside, and heโ€™s my QB26.ย

A Look Back: Tight End Avoids

To continue my โ€œA Look Backโ€ series, I wanted to go back even further than the 2019 regular season and reference some of my pre-draft content. In the summer of 2019, I did a two-part article, looking at tight end targets and avoids for 2019. I already looked at my suggested targets in part one, so now letโ€™s look back at the three players I said to avoid drafting.
