lane

2026 NFL Draft Coverage: Ja’Kobi Lane

At 6’4″, Lane uses his long frame to excel at high-pointing the ball and shielding defenders.

Contested Catch Specialist: He has strong hands and demonstrates elite focus to secure catches in traffic, often acting as a reliable red-zone threat.

Body Control & Tracking: Lane possesses excellent body control to adjust to inaccurate passes, often relying on “basketball player” style leaping ability.

Route Running Nuance: He shows “suddenness” and cleverness in his routes, specifically on double moves.

Football Intelligence: He understands how to find voids in zone coverage and is considered a highly coachable, high-effort player.

WEAKNESSES

Separation and Speed: Lane lacks true, blazing vertical speed, which may limit his ability to create consistent separation against top-tier NFL cornerbacks.

Yards After Catch (YAC): He is not a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands, often failing to create extra yardage after the initial catch.

Press Coverage Issues: His leaner frame can lead to struggles against physical cornerbacks who get hands on him at the line of scrimmage.

Consistency: He has had issues with concentration drops.

Route Tree Limitations: Earlier in his career, he operated in a limited route tree, which sometimes forced him to rely on contested catches rather than open space.

Expectations for Baltimore Offense

Welcome back, Dynasty family! Today, I’ll be discussing expectations for the Baltimore Ravens offense in 2023 with Todd Monken as the Offensive Coordinator. Monken replaced Greg Roman this offseason after Roman decided to pursue other coaching opportunities. Roman had one year left on his contract, but the Baltimore fanbase was growing impatient with the lack of results on the offensive end. So before we look at Monken’s resume and discuss future projections, I want to dig into Greg Roman’s offensive numbers at Baltimore.

Comparing ADP, Dynasty to Redraft: AFC East

A much-overlooked aspect of Dynasty is value comparison, or comparing the values of Dynasty players to Redraft players and seeing which is worth more or less. You might be thinking “well, duh! Of course, older players are worth less in Dynasty than Redraft!” to which I agree. But what about Daniel Jones (QB – NYJ), who is only 25 years old? Should he be worth more in Redraft or Dynasty? Or how about Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR – DEN), who in Redraft has an ADP of WR10, but in Dynasty he’s valued as WR6. Which side more appropriately values players? In this series, which will take place over eight parts (one part for each division), I’ll be evaluating every skill position player on every team and giving my thoughts on their value, whether they are overvalued compared to Redraft or undervalued. Usually, the appropriate value will be somewhere in the middle.

Odell Beckham Jr. to the Ravens

It has been just over a year since we had last seen Odell Beckham Jr. playing football, and we finally learned about his new home, the Baltimore Ravens. In this article, I will be talking about what we should expect from Odell in Baltimore as well as how this move affects the Ravens’ current pieces, and what we should do with Odell on our teams and in startups. Let us not waste any time and just get right into it.

Comparing ADP, Dynasty to Redraft: AFC North

Rashod Bateman Mark Andrews

Dynasty Outlook: Rashod Bateman

The consensus has dropped him quite a bit, with him being the WR37 on KeepTradeCut. This seems to be the general consensus around Bateman, with guys like Jahan Dotson, Christian Kirk, and Gabe Davis all leapfrogging him in perceived value over the course of this year. The dynasty community has seemingly abandoned Bateman for the most part.

2022 Projections: Baltimore Ravens

When we loosely compare players, most people feel they have a good idea of what kind of production to expect. We may think “Oh yeah, Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman can both easily eclipse 1000 yards while J.K. Dobbins is an RB1 and Gus Edwards is a solid flex play.” But, there may just not be room for that kind of production. I make projections to ground myself and help to understand what is actually possible, probable, or realistic. So, in this series, I will be going through each NFL team and making median projections for their 2022 seasons with their most fantasy-relevant players. I may be able to discern if certain players are being undervalued immediately but in most cases, I will need to finish more teams to get a good idea.

His broad jump was 132 inches and his three-cone time was a respectable 6.90. He chose not to participate in the bench press. @Force_Fantasy’s Dynasty “My Guys”

It is a popular practice on Twitter to present your “my guys” for the upcoming season. These are players you are targeting for your dynasty rosters for one reason or another. At DFF, we want to ensure we are giving you actionable advice that goes beyond the standard fare. For that reason, our “my guys” won’t be among the Top 50 Dynasty Players as voted on by the crowd at KeepTradeCut. These are guys we view as undervalued by the market that we’re looking to acquire for our dynasty teams.

IDP Wrap Up: Week 13

T.J. Watt is making a case for DPOY with his production on the field this season. The fifth-year pro out of Wisconsin had a massive day against the Raven, accounting for six total tackles, a TFL, a forced fumble, and 3.5 sacks of Lamar Jackson. Watt has now contributed 47 tackles, 16 TFLs and 16 sacks in his 10 games played this season. The former first-round pick is the top edge rusher in IDP fantasy football right now and will be for years to come.
