Hello, fellow fantasy managers. I am Chris Miles, The Draft Director, and in this series of articles, I will be helping you determine what players value you should be taking advantage of each week in your Redraft league. If someone’s value is too high I might tell you to sell or if I think their value will decrease soon he could also be a sell. I will give my reasoning for why each player falls in a certain category. I will attempt to have the format consistently be a buy and sell for each position but that may increase or decrease depending on the week.
I do not want to put a QB or TE on my list just to fill the space if they do not truly deserve it. So, you can trust that all of the players I will talk about are relevant. In this series, I will be assuming full PPR 12 team leagues. The number of flex starters will not affect this information very much but if you have a super deep league you can always hit me up on Twitter for those deeper guys. And with that said let us dive right into the Week 11 Buys and Sells.
Quarterbacks
Buy – Tua Tagovailoa, QB MIA Dolphins
Tua has been given back his starting role in the Dolphins offense and he won them the game vs Baltimore. Tua has played four full games and has scored the following points in those games: 18.2, 25.36, 34.54, and 15.2. Tua has had good games when given the opportunity and soon he will be back at full strength with a healthy Will Fuller and DeVante Parker. He is available on waivers in some of my leagues and if you don’t have a top-six to top-eight, QB you should be adding Tua.
Sell – Derek Carr, QB LV Raiders
Derek Carr has had a pretty solid season so far, even with all the turmoil from his previous head coach and number one wide receiver. I am selling Carr because of his playoff schedule. His games are @CLE, vs DEN, and @IND. These are all hard games, with two of them being away in harsh environments and the other being against a tough division opponent. Carr has been doing well so I would move on from him before your league starts looking towards the playoffs.
Running Backs
Buy – Ty’Son Williams, RB BAL Ravens
The Ravens always activate at least three running backs for game days. With the release of Le’Veon Bell, Ty’Son will now be a guaranteed active. The Ravens have been struggling to run the ball and find production there. Williams has been the most efficient runner for the Ravens this season when given the opportunity, but he is lacking in the pass protection department. I think the Ravens are willing to overlook this aspect and start to give Ty’Son more work.
Sell – James Conner, RB ARI Cardinals
James Conner has been on fire from the touchdown department lately, and that is exactly why we are selling him. Chase Edmonds has been absent but will return before the fantasy playoffs. The Cardinals will also regress to more passing touchdowns than they have scored these last few weeks. There is a storm of negativity coming and it is headed right for James Conner. Jump ship while his value has skyrocketed.
Wide Receivers
Buy – D.J. Moore, WR CAR Panthers
No wide receiver has had to deal with the turmoil at quarterback that D.J. Moore has had over the last few years. Despite this, he has been a consistent top 12 wide receiver for fantasy and the return of a newly inspired Cam Newton may give him some reliability at the position. I think D.J. Moore can go from a mid-WR2 this season to a low WR1 for the end of the season.
Sell – Deebo Samuel, WR SF 49ers
Deebo Samuel has had a fantastic run this season and he will continue to be heavily involved in the 49ers offense. However, with the healthy return of George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk starting to solidify his old role, Samuel should come back down to Earth. Deebo is currently the WR2 and I do not see that continuing. At most I could see him being around 12 or even lower. Sell him as a top-five wide receiver while you can.
Tight Ends
Buy – Gerald Everett, TE SEA Seahawks
There was a good chunk of the Seahawks’ most recent game where Russell Wilson did not complete a pass to a wide receiver. Gerald Everett was the main beneficiary of that and may have earned Wilson’s trust in the future. He could be a guy that rises into the low TE1 threshold for the rest of the season.
Sell – Tyler Higbee, TE LA Rams
Tyler Higbee has been at best an inconsistent, TD-dependent, low-tier TE1. However, the allure of a pass catcher and red zone threat in the Rams passing offense keeps his value insulated. I’d be looking to move him for a more reliable floor asset like Tyler Conklin, Dan Arnold, or Pat Freiermuth.
