Week 9 Dynasty Waiver Wire

By Chris Miles | November 1, 2022 | 0 Comments

Hello DFF members, my name is Chris and this year I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that, who I think should be owned significantly more, I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the waiver adds.

Welcome, #DFFArmy to Week 8! Key fantasy staples will be out this week with the Chargers and Chiefs on bye. However, avoiding duds from players you’ve had reliance on in the past may be even more crucial. As always, I’ll look at some deeper targets that you may be on the fence about for my “Starts of the Week” and some bigger-name performers that I’m expecting not to play well for my “Sits of the Week”.

Remember, we always provide the best players to stream at quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. Each streaming option will have ownership under 60%, according to ESPN. Dameon Pierce

Dameon Pierce: Asymmetrical Downside

By Paul Patterson | October 25, 2022 | 0 Comments

To best understand Pierce’s range of outcomes in the future, we first have to examine his current production. Pierce ranks as the RB13 in PPR leagues at the time of this writing. He has averaged 19.5 PPG over his last four games with at least 100 scrimmage yards in every contest. He’s been great for fantasy.

By Joe Memmolo Jr. | October 21, 2022 | 0 Comments

Welcome, #DFFArmy to Week 7! Several starting lineup staples will be out this week with the Rams, Bills, Vikings, and Eagles on bye. With players disappearing from those starting lineups, digging deep to find startable players becomes extra important! However, avoiding duds from players you’ve had reliance on in the past may be even more crucial. Christian McCaffrey

Striking Gold: The Niners Trade for CMC

By Joe Memmolo Jr. | October 21, 2022 | 0 Comments

A gaping hole left in the Panthers’ offense as McCaffrey received over 21 opportunities per game on a team that averaged only 53.8 plays per game! That means on roughly 40% of the offensive play calls, the ball was trying to be in McCaffrey’s hands. Can anyone fill his shoes? And on the other side of the country, what sort of fantasy magic will we see now that we have the perfect marriage of talent and scheme at the running back position? Let’s dive in!

Redraft: Midseason Trade Targets & Game Theory

By Chris Miles | October 20, 2022 | 0 Comments

In Redraft, trading is the best way to greatly change or improve your team. The hard part is determining what your team needs, and what players to target to fill those needs. In this article, I will be highlighting some guys that I think are worth buying either at or above their current price and some players you could look to trade away as well. Let us assume a 10-team, 0.5 PPR redraft league for these players and get right into it.

Sam Howell

The Case for Sam Howell

By Chris Miles | October 20, 2022 | 0 Comments

What if I told you that the QB1 of my rookie QB model for the 2022 class was now one mistake away from becoming a starter? What if I also told you that this QB would have been QB4 of the 2021 class, ahead of Zach Wilson, despite being drafted in the 5th round of the NFL draft and not the first? These statements should cause excitement for the Washington Commanders rookie QB, Sam Howell.

The Rapid Rise and Fall of Cam Akers: A Modern Tragedy

By Ben Winkler | October 19, 2022 | 0 Comments

Think back to yourself two off-seasons ago: Akers is coming off a six-game stretch (including two playoff games) where he averaged 110 total yards on 22 carries (not touches, carries) per game, as well as scoring five TDs. My favorite of these games came against New England when he gashed the 2020 Patriots for 171 yards on 5.9 yards per carry. Watching him glide effortlessly on well-blocked inside and outside zone runs, making defenders miss at the second level and falling forward sometimes seven or eight yards with DBs trying to bring him down. Then his playoff run, where he put up what would’ve been 21.1 PPR points per game against the Seahawks and Packers- nearly willing the Goff-era Rams to another Conference Championship.

Trade Ideas for the Upcoming 2023 Free Agent Running Backs

By Kalvin Kromer | October 19, 2022 | 0 Comments

In dynasty, you have to be a step ahead of your competition. Everyone is captivated by the impressive incoming 2023 rookie running back class and rightfully so, it should be a fantastic influx of talent. However, my contrarian personality wants to gain an edge over this fact rather than going along with the flow. Since there is so much talent in the upcoming rookie class, the 2023 free agent class is flying under the radar. Now is an excellent time to familiarize yourself with the upcoming free agent class before everyone else does. Here is a list of the upcoming 2023 free agents. The current competition on the free agent’s team is included because their value could be affected as much as the actual free agents.
