Jorda Travis was drafted by the New York Jets, becoming the 8th quarterback and 171 overall player in the 2024 NFL Draft.
COLLEGE PRODUCTION
Jordan Travis played six years of college ball. One year with the Louisville Cardinals and five years with Florida State. In his five years at Florida State, he had 1013 pass attempts for 633 completions for 8644 yards. He averaged 8.5 yards per attempt, with 65 touchdowns. He also had 409 rushing attempts for 1910 rushing yards for an average of 4.7 yards per attempt. He also ran for 31 touchdowns.
FILM
When watching him on film some things stood out. He is very comfortable in running the RPO. His awareness in the pocket gives him the ability to wait till the last second to pull the ball back and throw it. When he does throw it, he has an arm that has NFL strength. He has the experience to put the right touch on the ball. If it is throwing downfield for a large gain or just a short pass splitting defenders, His passing is exceptional. His athleticism and speed give him the ability to rush when it is the best option.
ATHLETIC TESTING
Due to an injury during the 2023 season, Jordan wasn’t able to work out at the combine. He does believe that he will be ready for camps when they open.

FANTASY INSIGHTS
Jordan Travis would be third in the quarterback room. Still recovering from his leg injury from 2023, he is not likely to see a lot of snaps. Not looking to invest in him early. Wait and see how he progresses through the season.
