Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down: Cincinnati Bengals

Welcome back to the “Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down” series (offseason edition). I know that we have four teams still fighting for a Super Bowl (including the Bengals!), but as a dynasty manager, you need to start preparing for the next fantasy season right now. A lot can change before next season, and we don’t know how final rosters will look come next September. The “offseason edition” of this series is an early look at whose stock is up and whose stock is down going into the offseason. We will break down each NFL team. Today is all about the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down: Chicago Bears

Welcome back to the “Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down” series (off-season edition). Yes, there are still games to be played, but as a Dynasty manager, it’s never too early to start preparing for the next fantasy season. We don’t know what final rosters will look like to start next season, and we don’t know who each team will look to acquire in the draft/free agency. The “offseason edition” of this series is an early look at whose stock is up and whose stock is down going into the offseason. We will break down each NFL team. This week is all about the Chicago Bears.

Redraft Waiver Wire Grind: Week 13

We’re officially just two weeks away from one of the best times of the year; fantasy football playoffs. By this time of the year, the waivers are looking as dry as ever. This means it is time for us to get a little sneakier and find some deep depth to stock the end of our benches with. We, as you know, are always on the hunt for running backs with a path to opportunity. But this week there’s not any to be found sitting on waivers, meaning it’s time to pivot; pivot from running backs to some sneaky late-week receivers.

Injuries Growing on Trees: Robert Woods Rapid Reaction

You were already disappointed during the early part of the season if you went with a Zero-WR approach and expected WR1 numbers from Robert Woods but he quietly crept up as the WR12 after Week 9 just past the halfway point of the season. Now, some people want to claw their eyes out if they weren’t one of the few to sell early (It’s me. I’m some people) and are scrambling to recover for the playoff push. Luckily WR is a deep position and there are waiver and trade options to plugin.

Calvin Ridley Out Indefinitely: Rapid Reaction

Calvin Ridley has decided to step away from football per a statement released on Twitter. It’s already been a disappointing season for a player expected to be a top-10 receiver as the first full season as the Falcons’ WR1. Ridley’s underwhelming season comes from a combination of missing a game for personal reasons and Atlanta, particularly Matt Ryan, underperforming. We’ll break down both the redraft and dynasty impact of the news and how we move forward as the third-year player recovers.

One Week Ahead: Part 5

This is the fifth installment of the weekly series, One Week Ahead. We will use our fantasy football crystal ball to look ahead to future weeks and try to predict players who will emerge with fantasy relevance. We will try to get a leg up on our opponents by picking up potential fantasy assets before they become a major waiver wire pick-up.

Draft Stock Watch Week 1

DFF Draft Coverage: Jaylen Waddle to the Miami Dolphins

Jaylen Waddle has the speed that an opposing defense must account for pre-snap on every play of the game. He immediately enters the league as one of the fastest WRs in the world. He has all the tools to become a number one WR in the NFL. Waddle should be the second or third WR selected in dynasty rookie drafts. He will be a mid-late first-round pick in SF leagues and an early-mid first-round pick in 1QB leagues. Waddle also offers value in the return game, for owners whose leagues provide points for return yardage and return TDs.

OBJ Injury Impact: Rapid Reaction

Odell Beckham Jr. was injured this past week with reports coming out this week of a torn ACL. This will unfortunately be the fourth time OBJ will miss at least four games in a season and it will be the third injury that ended his season early. With his birthday next week, the soon-to-be 28 years old will have his eyes set not on the first potential playoff spot for the Browns since 2002, but on the 2021 training camp. It’s a sad loss for a team that seemed to finally be taking that next step.

Rookie Stock Market: Week 4

With four weeks of NFL action behind us, we are now really starting to get a good idea about who’s the real deal. Joe Burrow looks like the QB we hoped he would be, and Justin Jefferson is looking like a great asset. However, there are still plenty of rookies not on the top of their games, for several different reasons, that will surely be assets later this season or next. Per usual, I will dive into some “Risers”, “Fallers”, “Buys” and “Sells” while assessing their Week 4 performance and long term outlook.

Tre’Quan Smith: 2020 Dynasty Profile

The Saints drafted Smith in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft with the 91st overall pick. At the time, the Saints had star wide receiver Michael Thomas and running back Alvin Kamara as their top two receiving weapons. However, after those top two players, they had very few secondary options, with veterans Ben Watson and Ted Ginn as Smith’s main competition for targets.

Sleeper Series: N’Keal Harry

After writing my redraft team breakdown series, I decided to start a new series as we approach the 2020 fantasy season. Every week, or probably more often than that, I’m going to bring you one fantasy sleeper representing a massive value in 2020 redraft leagues. All the links to previous articles are at the bottom of the article. In the first article, I detailed my methodology behind this series, so go back and read that piece if you haven’t yet! Now, it’s time for another wide receiver, this time a second-year player, N’Keal Harry. The Patriots recently released veteran Mohamed Sanu, which caused me to think of Harry and his potential opportunity in 2020. I mentioned that Sanu could be a cap casualty in April, but it’s interesting to see the Patriots make a move so close to the start of the season. Let’s dive into what Sanu’s release means for Harry as a sleeper.

Sleeper Series: Randall Cobb

After writing my redraft team breakdown series, I decided to start a new series as we approach the 2020 fantasy season. Every week, or probably more often than that, I’m going to bring you one fantasy sleeper representing a massive value in 2020 redraft leagues. All the links to previous articles are at the bottom of the article. In the first article, I detailed my methodology behind this series, so go back and read that piece if you haven’t yet! Today, it’s time to look at an old and crusty veteran who might still provide some fantasy value in 2020: Randall Cobb. I’ve recently risen on Cobb as a potential deep option. Let’s get into why I’m starting to come around.

Parris Campbell: 2020 Dynasty Profile

Parris Campbell finished 2019 with 18 receptions for 127 yards and one TD after appearing in just seven games throughout an injury-plagued rookie season. Credit must be given to the young receiver for battling and playing through a hamstring injury, a sports hernia, and a broken hand, before ultimately falling on the IR with a broken foot. The transition from college to the pro game is widely regarded as a difficult conversion for wide receivers.
