The DFF Team volleys content ideas regularly in search of compelling articles at pertinent times. And though we’ve found our focus primarily on the 2025 NFL Rookie Prospects as of late, I asked the squad to pull together a mock start-up for the first five rounds. As the ideas started to percolate, @FFChalmers threw out the notion to not only cover the genesis of a startup draft, as we have done so many times in the past, but this time to make it an actual league. A bunch of us looked around the room and said, “Duh,” – so the DFF Dynasty League of Record was born (not to be confused with the other 5-6 DFF Leagues currently in operation). We hope that you can glean from the strategies, at least early on, should you choose to join a Startup before Free Agency or the NFL Draft. We start with the first round – Part 1 of 5.

We’ve already received tons of news on players and depth charts as training camp is underway, resulting in some fluctuation in Dynasty value and potential NFL lines so make sure to download Betway. I’ll cover these risers, explain why the market is high on said player, and then cover whether I believe the value change is warranted. Let’s take a look at who the Dynasty market is buying right now.

Hello, fellow Dynasty leaguers! In this series I will be going through the top-48 WRs in Dynasty, providing stats and insight on them. The WR market can be hard to pick apart because there are so many players in so many situations and so many factors in play. Here I will try to help make it easier by giving my thoughts on some players I find interesting and maybe it can help you navigate the market and find some values. When considering WR Dynasty value there are three main things I look at: a path to accruing value, immediate projectable production, and value insulation. These three things can be applied to every player and I use them often to compare who I value more. To do this I will be using BulletProof ADP and separating the players into tiers. Let’s dive right in with the first tier.

Welcome, everybody, to part two of my “Dynasty Fantasy Football for Beginners” series. Dynasty fantasy football is a unique and exciting format requiring a different approach to trading than redraft leagues. In a dynasty league, you are building a team for the long haul, and strategic trading can make all the difference in creating a championship-caliber squad. Each strategy will benefit different roster constructions. So take a good look at your roster, decide which direction you want to take your team, and consider these strategies. Before we jump right in, don’t forget to check out my first article, discussing pre-draft prep for your Dynasty startup.

As the newest ranking team member here at DFF, I have asked myself this question quite a bit over the past couple of weeks: Who should I rank higher? These lead to fantastic conversations in league, text, and social media chats. The back and forth is where some of the richest discussions of fantasy football can occur. In particular, in the Dynasty space where a player’s value could vary depending on if the team is a contender or rebuilding, and also on positional need. Today’s discussion is not easily solved by either of those metrics though. All three of these guys are talented young WRs that work well whether you are contending now or looking at the long-term picture. I would be happy to have a roster with any one of them or even better all three of them but in a startup, where would I go? Let’s dig into these incredibly talented WRs.

For those new to the WR1 rating, this is a highly accurate proprietary forecasting formula I developed to provide a data-driven forecast of future dynasty value for incoming rookie wide receivers. The WR1 model scores rookies on nine predictive metrics and then combines those individual metric scores into a single WR1 rating. The goal is to provide a single easy-to-use score for those who don’t want to spend all the time dissecting different metrics.
