On March 20th, Kenny Golladay signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the New York Giants. Put another way, the biggest receiver in free agency signed the biggest contract to play in the Big Apple. When an elite wide receiver changes teams, as we saw with Stefon Diggs and DeAndre Hopkins in 2020, it’s kind of a big deal. Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Chad Beebe

We are getting closer and closer to the end of the year with most leagues winding down either this week or next. Luckily, we play dynasty where the season never ends. Many teams have either been hit by injuries or COVID this season, and that has led to us getting extended views at players we probably wouldn’t see otherwise. One player who got an extended look this week was Chad Beebe. Son of former NFL wide receiver Don Beebe. Chad has some interesting measurables and is someone that is currently owned in only 0.1% of ESPN leagues. Chad had a big mishap on special teams on Sunday but also had his best game as a pro. He tallied 7 receptions for 63 yards and a score. Let’s get into it.

Michael Thomas: 2020 Dynasty Profile

The Saints drafted Thomas with the 47th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The Saints had Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead established as their top two receivers with tight end Coby Fleener as a free-agent acquisition from the Colts. This week we will be diving into a wide receiver on a team with a ton of potential. This week’s dynasty sleeper is Isaiah Ford. The 7th round pick in 2017 has carved out a nice little role in the Miami Dolphins offense at the beginning of the 2020 season. According to MyFantasyLeague, he is only owned in 20% of leagues, so it shouldn’t be hard to attain Isaiah Ford at his current price.

Corey Davis: 2020 Dynasty Profile

Davis can improve as much as he wants, but it won’t make a difference if the passing volume isn’t there. The Titans have finished 31st in pass attempts the last two seasons, largely due to a highly efficient running attack lead by Derrick Henry. He’s also taken a backseat to A.J. Brown, who demonstrated all season long why he’s the more talented receiver. Davis received 113 targets in 2018 prior to A.J. Brown’s arrival. But, now that those days are in the rearview he’s quickly drifting towards fantasy irrelevance.  For argument’s sake, let’s assume there’s an increase in passing attempts in Tennesee (there won’t be) and Davis sees, say, 85-90 targets. He’d still be hard-pressed to crack the top 60 at his position!

Deebo Samuel: Injury Reaction

Referred to as a Jones fracture, Deebo fractured part of his fifth metatarsal and will be requiring surgery. According to @FBInjuryDoc on Twitter, the recovery time for this injury is likely 8-12 weeks–with 10 weeks being the preferred timetable. This 10-week timetable theoretically puts Samuel on track to be ready for week 1, assuming no setbacks. Trent Taylor, Deebo’s teammate, endured the same injury last year. While Taylor was expected to be back in under 8 weeks until he required a second surgery. Unfortunately, this second surgery caused an infection causing Taylor to miss the entire 2019 season. Let us hope there are no complications and Samuel can return to the field ASAP.

The Bengals drafted Boyd with the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, Boyd flashed as the number three receiver behind veterans A.J. Green and Brandon LaFell. Boyd played mostly from the slot and complemented the existing pair of outside receivers. While he wasn’t fantasy relevant, he showed enough as a rookie to provide considerable dynasty optimism going into 2017.

In a shocking turn of events, Antonio Brown has agreed to terms with the Patriots. The idea has been tossed around over the last couple of weeks during Brown’s fallout with Oakland as a complete joke.
No one could have actually guessed, or have thought Antonio Brown would be released by the Raiders and sign with New England, but here we are.
Tom Brady passing to Antonio Brown is a reality. Mr. Big Chest brings his talents to Foxboro for at least a year. Adam Schefter reports the Patriots have agreed to a one year deal worth up to $15m that includes $9m signing bonus, another $1m guaranteed and $5m in incentives.
