I’ve heard a ton of buzz recently about Chris Olave and where he ranks among the dynasty wide receivers after his incredibly productive and efficient rookie season. There is one debate I just can’t let slide. Chris Olave or Tee Higgins?
A day after sitting out the Commanders’ final preseason game, Brian Robinson Jr. was shot twice in the legs during an attempted carjacking. Robinson had been one of the biggest stories of the preseason thus far, ascending the Washington depth chart from perceived RB3 to potential RB1. He sat out the preseason finale, as many anticipate, as a safety precaution, which suggests a large role in the offense could have been possible for Robinson this season. However, this unfortunate turn of events will alter things.
Watson’s current value on the dynasty market reflects a refusal to prepare for the worst while hoping for the best possible outcome in relation to fantasy upside. His ceiling is infinite when he is on the field. A minimal suspension would inevitably cause that value to spike into the top six dynasty quarterbacks should Watson return to his previous form of play. However, neither of those previously mentioned scenarios is a guaranteed outcome.

It’s been a wild few weeks since the FootballGuys Players Championship (FBG) playoffs started. I think there might be a couple of NFL players that haven’t either got COVID or been injured. They’re not on my squads, though. It has been something else trying to set a legal competitive lineup. This season is going to go down as a winning season for me overall, but largely a disappointment and I can’t wait for next season already.

Well, it has certainly been a wild ride so far this season. We have seen wild breakouts from Elijah Mitchell, Ja’Marr Chase, James Conner, and Cordarrelle Patterson. We have seen relative busts from Stefon Diggs, Allen Robinson, and Miles Sanders. In fantasy, you have to do what you think is best and hope it pans out. Maybe you just didn’t get it done this year and that is okay. Fantasy football is a fickle entity and whether you had injury woes or made a few wrong trades you just didn’t get to the promised land this year. What do you do now?
This week and every week going forward we’ll bring you several recommendations for players you should add to your dynasty rosters. We’ll mainly be targeting lower-owned options who should be available in all but the deepest leagues.
We’re just two days from NFL kickoff and that means one of the last opportunities to acquire or trade a player before reality sets in. Once the ball gets rolling there are no more “what ifs” and unknowns. If a player you love hits, you may have already missed the chance to trade for him at a reasonable price. If they bust, good luck finding a suitor with a decent offer.
