Hello DFF members, I am Chris, and I will be doing a rookie round-up series for the 2023 season. My primary space in fantasy centers around analytics, rookie models, and early career models, so I should be able to make beneficial content out of this. This will be released every two weeks, and I will keep you updated on how these rookies have been performing and how their values should be changing. Let’s dive right into the week one recap for the prominent rookies.
I hope you all had an excellent start to the Fantasy season. Most of the week-one starts and sits were primarily based on matchups and last year’s performance. Now, we move to week two, and we have a little more information available at our fingertips. There were some disappointments and potential room for growth. As we look to get our fantasy lineups in top shape, let’s dive into my week two starts and sits!
Injuries are inevitable in fantasy football. How you prepare and react to them can make or break your fantasy team. Did you build a bench with sufficient depth to withstand the running back injury carousel? How do you pivot if a key player goes on injured reserve? We will examine the most impactful injuries in the fantasy world each week and what players will step up their fantasy production.
Welcome back, DFF family! In this new series, I will review three to five players each week that you should target on the waiver wire for your Dynasty teams. To keep the information in this series consistent, I will only refer to players with an ownership percentage of less than 50%, according to Sleeper Dynasty leagues. I’ll do my best to provide you with players that have a more long-term upside rather than a one-week ceiling, seeing that this is a Dynasty series and not Redraft. So sit back, relax, and let me find you some diamonds in the rough!
Welcome to Week 1 DFS, and congrats once again for making it through the offseason. Week 1 DFS is one of the most fun slates of the year for many reasons. Firstly, we have a lot of people playing DFS that will not be in future weeks. These people are putting in lineups without correlations or because they like this guy or that guy, and their lineups are dead on arrival. They are doing us all a favor by paying the rake for us. Secondly, the slate is made so far in advance of Week 1 that there are a bunch of silly good values. So many so that none of them become too chalky. You can build any lineups you want. Let’s build some GPP-winning lineups, shall we?
Well, another long and winding fantasy offseason is finally at an end. As I type this sentence, we are just a couple of hours removed from the kickoff of Chiefs vs. Lions, so I thought it would be fun to look back at the “greatest hits” of the 2023 fantasy offseason. After all, who doesn’t love a good countdown?

The anticipation of the very first game of the NFL season was apparent. Me and my kids made sure to have everything done in the house before the game came on and they even got to watch a little before going to bed. But I’m sure that it was the same for many longing for the return of football. We got to see the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football. And while that was the main draw, fantasy managers may have had their eyes on a different part of the game as did NFL betting enthusiasts in Michigan.

In this edition, I’ll be sharing some notable changes in the final update leading up to the kickoff of the 2023 NFL season.
The Colts managed to make August an extremely stressful month for fantasy managers who roster any of their key offensive position players. Anthony Richardson was named the starter behind an injured offensive line, their starting all-pro running back is in a stand-off with the front office over a new contract, their young tight end was placed on injured reserve, and all but three wide receivers were cut before the deadline.
Week 1 of the NFL Season is finally here! We’ve been analyzing prospects, conjuring up our best player takes, and projecting/predicting how this season will unfold long enough. It’s time to wrap it up and enjoy the point-scoring season in its glory. With the season setting to get underway, and sports bettors itching for NFL action, I thought it would be beneficial to summarize and discuss some of the most exciting and important year-one players and narratives to watch as we head into Week 1 with so much excitement and uncertainty.

Well, everyone, pat yourself on the back. We have made it through another preseason. In nine days, we will be live. All the time you put into the offseason making trades, draft picks, and waiver claims will come to fruition. Enjoy these next few months of the football season. Before you know it, we will watch the Super Bowl and begin another offseason. The game of football and Dynasty fantasy football has had a massive impact on my life, and if you are reading this, it probably has on you as well. We sometimes get too lost in the weeds and forget to enjoy it. Remember that it is a game, and games are meant to be fun.

Bold prediction articles are some of my favorite types of content to research before drafts. In preparing for my drafts, I always have specific players I want to target who I believe are values vs. their average draft position. Bold prediction articles highlight these players that analysts make cases for being better than their ADP. Do I expect the bold prediction to come true? No. But directionally, the goal is for that player to outperform their ADP. If the bold part of it comes true, that is just the proverbial cherry on top.

We witnessed history this preseason—the end of an era. The Ravens preseason dynasty is finally over, brought to an end by the Washington Commanders in the greatest preseason game of all time. I’m sure I’m not being hyperbolic by saying this at all.
