Dynasty Analysis
27 – Total tackles by Budda Baker over the last two weeks. Baker has been productive all season but has blown up since moving back to SS. Of the three alliteratively named safeties from the 2017 class, Baker is the only one currently playing.
Superman’s season is over and his Kryptonite is the Lisfranc injury, a condition in which the long bones in your foot are displaced. Newton originally suffered the injury during the preseason, but reaggravated it in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There were hopes that he could return initially, but those faded away as his timetable for recovery became more and more uncertain.
On Tuesday Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone announced that Nick Foles will start over Gardner Minshew when the team returns from its bye in week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. The Jaguars have elected to go with the quarterback they signed for $88 million this past offseason to be the starter. Foles went down when […]
Halfway through the NFL season, attrition due to injury has indiscriminately claimed stars and role players alike. The players named below can be considered to replace injured, underperforming, or otherwise unavailable IDPs on fantasy football rosters. The list includes only players rostered in fewer than a third of IDP leagues on MyFantasyLeague.com (MFL).
Ryan Tannehill (TEN) vs Chiefs, 8.4% owned
Tannehill has performed well in his three starts from Week’s 7-9, putting up 19.2, 19.4, and then 23 fantasy points in four-point touchdown scoring. Now, he draws a plus matchup at home against the Chiefs. I expect Patrick Mahomes to return for this game, which will allow the Chiefs to put up points on the Titans much more so than with interim starter Matt Moore. Therefore, the Titans will need to play catch up, and Tannehill will be forced to throw.
Another week another injury at the quarterback position. I’ve reminded you of this in the past, but I’ll do it once more. If backup quarterbacks are sitting on your Superflex leagues waiver wires, pick them up. Week 10 is the week with the most teams on bye with six. Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, New England, Philadelphia, and Washington are all off this week.
Each week I will recap the top performances by this year’s rookie defenders. Some are well-known names and others come out of nowhere. Rookies are highly coveted in the dynasty community, but their value can be very volatile at times. In this series each week, we’ll look at their numbers and what impact they have. I am also including their snap counts and percentage of snaps. These snap counts can tell us a lot about how much a player is being used and the opportunities they have to make plays.
Every week Ben Glaser provides a quick recap of news from the last week, thoughts going into each week’s games, notes on injuries, guys to put on your radar, etc. It’ll be a quick article every week because we’re all busy Sunday mornings.
The Indianapolis Colts will be without their number one pass-catcher, T.Y. Hilton, for the next few weeks due to a calf injury. This will have a large ripple effect on the entire offense during the time that Hilton will be sidelined.

Our writers will be grinding the tape and keeping up with the media buzz […]
Matthew Stafford @ Oakland ($7,900)
Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions head west this week to face the Raiders and their 31st ranked pass defense in what should be one of the highest-scoring games on Sunday’s slate. The Lions’ offense has been red hot lately, with Stafford scoring 23 or more Fanduel points in three of his last four matchups.
Welcome back to part one of my weekly publications, my weekly picks against the spread! For these articles, I will provide analysis on three bets that I feel have the best chance at netting you a nice payday. Whether it be due to matchups, injuries, or other factors, these are the three bets I feel the most confident in placing.I will also make predictions on the rest of the week’s spreads.
Parker has caught 50 yards or a touchdown in each of the last four games. It’s no surprise his targets and production have increased since Ryan Fitzpatrick was named the starter. He’s received 8 targets and is the WR20 in the two games with Fitzpatrick as the starter. Parker has one of the highest average depths of target (aDot) (15.5) among receivers with over 30 targets. He has a higher aDot than Kenny Golladay and Mike Williams. He’s also tied for fifth in average targeted air yards (15.4) among pass catchers. Look for him on your waivers if available. Otherwise, stash him if you got him. It doesn’t appear he will be traded — one of the few pieces the Fins are willing to hang on to.
After another fairly-uninteresting waiver wire class hitting the scene this week, this is the perfect opportunity to save your priority for when one does. And with the fantasy football playoffs now just about a month away, it’s the time to take some big swings and find some potential league-winners that could cost you next-to-nothing to acquire.Without further ado, here are your Week 9 “In the Scope” candidates who have the potential to be tomorrow’s top waiver claims.
Suffering from RB injuries? Is your depth fading fast heading into the postseason? Are you looking to making a run, but need some waiver help for your struggling flex? Hop in and find the help you need!
7 – Games it took the Raiders to match the 2018 season’s sack total of 13. Benson Mayowa has led the way with 5.5 sacks. Fourth-round rookie Maxx Crosby and Maurice Hurst each have 2.0 sacks. First-round rookie Clellin Ferrel, Arden Key, and Jonathan Hankins each have 1.0 sack. PJ Hall has 0.5 sacks. Amazingly, there are five teams with fewer sacks on the season.
Week 8 of the NFL season is in the books. Yes, you read that correctly. After an agonizingly long off-season, we are past the halfway mark of the fantasy football regular season (assuming your playoffs start in Week 14*). That means it is time to objectively evaluate our rosters, and scrutinize each position group with […]
This week Connor Horsfield (@Conmans_Content) will guide you through the depths of the redraft waiver wire, featuring all of the best pick-ups and who to leave hanging on the wire. We will identify the guys you should be able to plug into your starting lineup without hesitation, as well as some bench stashes who could become starters in the coming weeks.
14 – Total tackles by Budda Baker. Since DJ Swearinger Sr. was released, Baker has moved back to SS while the two Thompsons took over FS. The two Thompson dynamic is fluid, making both impossible to trust. Fifth-round rookie Deionte Thompson dropped from 90% of snaps in Week 7 to 43% in Week 8. Supplemental draft rookie Jalen Thompson jumped from 10% of snaps in Week 7 to 53% in Week 8.
