Zachariah Branch – Freshman Phenom

College football is finally back, and last Saturday, we got to see 2022 Heisman winner Caleb Williams lead his USC Trojans to a dominant win versus the Spartans of San Jose State in Week 0. Caleb showed us why he’s the heavy favorite to hoist the Heisman trophy again in 2023, posting 18/25 passing, 278 yards, and 4 TDs in the game. We’ve come to expect this from the future 1.01 in 2024 Superflex rookie drafts. I mean, just look at the play below; is this not Patrick Mahomes-esque? Williams turned a potential disaster of a play into a homerun ball and made it look easy.

Preseason Overreactions: The Big Picture

Well, everyone, pat yourself on the back. We have made it through another preseason. In nine days, we will be live. All the time you put into the offseason making trades, draft picks, and waiver claims will come to fruition. Enjoy these next few months of the football season. Before you know it, we will watch the Super Bowl and begin another offseason. The game of football and Dynasty fantasy football has had a massive impact on my life, and if you are reading this, it probably has on you as well. We sometimes get too lost in the weeds and forget to enjoy it. Remember that it is a game, and games are meant to be fun.

Bold Predictions for 2023 Dynasty

Bold prediction articles are some of my favorite types of content to research before drafts. In preparing for my drafts, I always have specific players I want to target who I believe are values vs. their average draft position. Bold prediction articles highlight these players that analysts make cases for being better than their ADP. Do I expect the bold prediction to come true? No. But directionally, the goal is for that player to outperform their ADP. If the bold part of it comes true, that is just the proverbial cherry on top.

Who’s the WR1 in the 2025 Class?

I decided to expand on my Evan Stewart Devy Profile piece and do a comparison article on the three WRs in this 2025 class who appear to be vying for that WR1 spot in Devy. These three players are Luther Burden, Evan Stewart, and Barion Brown. First, let me give a brief overview of each prospect profile coming out of high school.

Dynasty What If? Amon-Ra St. Brown

Hello and welcome to another edition of “Dynasty What If?” In this series, @ChrisMiles1017 and I explore expectations for different players in the upcoming 2023 NFL season. These will include a projected ceiling outcome and a potential floor outcome. After that, we will discuss what we think is most likely. The idea is to lay out and consider what is possible and compare that to what is probable. In addition, we will relay potential effects for every scenario on the player’s dynasty value. Now, let’s dive into our next subject: Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Evan Stewart

Evan Stewart Devy Profile

We all know Marvin Harrison Jr. is the unquestioned WR1 in the 2024 draft class, but what about 2025? Evan Stewart is a name that has been on Devy players’ radars since his junior year of high school, and the hype has only increased since then. According to our expert Devy rankers at Dynasty Football Factory, Stewart is the WR5 overall in Devy and the WR2 in his class, behind Missouri’s Luther Burden. And Dynasty Nerds Consensus Rankings has Stewart valued even higher as the WR2 overall (behind MH Jr.) and the WR1 in his class. So just how good is this Texas native, and what can we reasonably expect from him at the NFL level? Let’s talk numbers to help answer that question.

Preseason Overreactions: Week 1 Edition

Another week of preseason means another week of preseason overreactions. Twitter was full of highlights and discussions about who ran with which group during the games and who had the night off. Amongst all this, we must figure out what is an overreaction and what is real. We could go through many more players than the ones here. However, in the interest of not writing a book, I have cut down to the 12 I found most interesting to talk about. If I don’t get to your boy specifically, I do apologize. I am also not getting to talk about Nathan Rourke potentially having the play of the year while we are still in preseason. Without further ado, let’s break down these overreactions from the weekend.

Training Camp Buzz 3.0

Are you ready for some football? It is training camp season, and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s time to see how the rookies we have spent all off-season analyzing stack up to the next level of competition. It’s time to see who wins training camp battles. Hopefully, it’s not time to see an abundance of injury-related news.

PB&J, Burgers & Fries, and Wings & Beer. Arguably some of the better pairings we’ve come to know and love, but there is another beautiful pairing that only comes around once a year; August & Fantasy Football. Redraft season is heating up, “rankings week” has many feeling like they’re at an adult summer camp with no children, and a lot of dynasty leagues that have been quiet since the NFL draft, have begun to stir.

Trey Benson

Trey Benson Devy Profile

Trey Benson may not be a household name in the same sense that TreVeyon Henderson or Raheim Sanders is, but don’t be surprised if you hear this guy’s name every Sunday a year from now. Benson earned the attention of Devy players midway through his redshirt sophomore campaign, posting some truly impressive numbers and helping the Seminoles to a six-game win streak to end the season. Before we look at his 2022 season and projections for the NFL, let’s start from the beginning.

It’s time to see how the rookies we have spent all off-season analyzing stack up to the next level of competition. It’s time to see who wins training camp battles. Hopefully, it’s not time to see an abundance of injury-related news. We know not everyone has hours to spend on Twitter. There is a lot of propaganda to weed through to truly find out what matters. The rest of this month, I will weed through what I feel matters to you, our reader, and what is just coach speak or media sensationalism.
