Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down: Minnesota Vikings

Welcome back to the final team for the “Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down” series (offseason edition). We will be continuing this series through training camp and the preseason, but the individual team deep dives will be no longer. Instead, we will break down divisions and find key players to keep an eye on while we approach the regular season. Us dynasty managers must constantly research ways to bolster our rosters. Do you need advice on who to trade for? Maybe you’re looking for players to trade away. Do you have enough young talent to ensure your roster is set for years to come? Maybe you’re going all in and need a couple of pieces to sharpen your team. We will dive deep into one Minnesota player whose dynasty stock is increasing and one Minnesota player whose dynasty stock is decreasing.

Kenny Golladay Reaction

On March 20th, Kenny Golladay signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the New York Giants. Put another way, the biggest receiver in free agency signed the biggest contract to play in the Big Apple. When an elite wide receiver changes teams, as we saw with Stefon Diggs and DeAndre Hopkins in 2020, it’s kind of a big deal. There will be significant fantasy ramifications for each member of the Giants’ offense, from Daniel Jones to Saquon Barkley to Darius Slayton. Let’s zoom in for a closer look!

Dynasty Risers and Fallers Week 4

Dynasty Risers and Fallers Week 4

In this weekly piece, I will bring you some risers and fallers from a dynasty lens. Whether it’s injuries, performance, or value, I want to discuss how players have moved around. Based on the week’s events, I’ll give some advice on how to act on the market’s movement, whether it’s buying, selling, or holding.

I won’t limit myself to talking about any specific players or teams because I want to have the freedom to discuss whatever is most relevant. Also, of course, there are more risers and fallers than those I’m listing. However, it’s impossible to cover every single one of them, as dynasty values change weekly for many players. With that said, let’s jump into the risers first, followed by the fallers.

It’s a long project, but I want to make sure that you, the reader, have something you can refer to for every team. For each article, I’ll split up the fantasy assets into three categories: high-end assets, usable contributors, and dart throws. Let’s jump into the Vikings.

Free Agency Merry-Go-Round: Hooper Lands in Cleveland with a Thud

Unrestricted free-agent Austin Hooper signed a four-year, $42M contract to play for the Cleveland Browns last month. The deal makes him the second-highest-paid tight end in the NFL behind only Hunter Henry. He’ll join a team that finished 2019 at 6-10, results that prompted ownership to fire the GM and coaching staff. Hooper leaves a high-volume pass offense in Atlanta for one in Cleveland featuring a duo of strong running backs and a quarterback who’s still developing.
