As Dynasty Fantasy Football Managers, this time of year is one of the most exciting. The NFL Draft is upon us and we finally get to have landing spots for the rookies we have spent the last few months evaluating and debating. For handicappers, this week also provides a golden opportunity, betting on the NFL Draft. The sportsbooks are working with all the same information we are this week and this week is notoriously bad for the sportsbooks. As Dynasty managers, we have a massive edge in this market thanks to our time spent studying film and analytics. This market is also extremely volatile to news and reporting so be prepared for lines to have massive swings much more so than typical in-season wagers. Line changes can occur for several different reasons but a bet I may like here at one price may not apply if the juice (gambling odds) changes. AFC Divisional Betting Odds

Some real value can be found in these bets if you’re willing to do the research. For instance, last year two teams went from 2017 doormats to divisional winners (the Texans and the Bears) and provided bettors with a nice payout. While a worst-to-first turnaround shouldn’t be expected every year, there is certainly value to be had in placing these year-long bets.   For each division, I’ll provide two picks. The first is the “Best Bet,” or the bet I feel is most likely to hit. As boring as it is, this is most likely the favorite and thus the safest bet to place. The second is the “Best Odds,” or where I perceive the best value to be. Full disclosure, this is where I take a little more liberty in my selections so if you’re looking for an opinion on the safest bet, I’d suggest sticking with my first recommendation.With that out of the way, let’s get on with the show!

Not much in the way of trades as we moved through Round 3 but our first rookies came off the board at 3.04 (Ashton Jeanty) and 3.06 (Tet McMillan).
