2026 Rookie WR1 Analytical Model, Version 1.0: Rankings 5 to 1
The Prospect Analytical Model Rankings are one of our members’ favorite series each year at Dynasty Football Factory. Years of refining and enhancing the models to accurately predict future fantasy value have brought us to today. These WR1 model rankings are your ultimate guide to predicting which prospects will produce the most fantasy points in their NFL career. You can find the wide receivers ranked 15 to 11 in the WR1 model here. You can find the wide receivers ranked 10 to 6 here. You can find the running back RB1 model here. For those new to the WR1 rating, it is a proprietary formula I developed in 2019 that provides a data-driven forecast of future fantasy production for incoming rookie wide receivers. There are many advanced metrics available today; we at DFF know it can be difficult to determine which ones matter and how much each matters. The WR1 model distills all that hard work into a single, easy-to-understand number. The model evaluates rookies across 13 of the most predictive metrics and combines their individual metric scores into a total WR1 rating. It was a pioneer in the fantasy analysis industry, being the first to incorporate a film-grade into the model. The goal is to provide an easy-to-use score for those who don’t want to spend hundreds of hours dissecting different metrics. Jonah Coleman: The Human Bowling Ball
Jonah Coleman is not hard to figure out. He’s not here to race anyone. He’s not here to bounce everything outside. He’s here to hit you, keep his feet, and move the chains. Every carry looks the same in the best way possible. Square shoulders, low pads, and forward momentum. At 5’9” and around 228 pounds, Coleman is built like a brick. Thick lower half. Low center of gravity. When defenders meet him in the hole, he usually wins. That’s why the “human bowling ball” label fits. He doesn’t avoid contact. He uses it. How He Runs Coleman’s game starts with vision and patience. He presses the line, lets blocks develop, and waits for defenders to declare themselves. He doesn’t dance in the backfield or rush decisions. Once he sees the crease, he commits and explodes through it. He’s decisive. That matters. Four yards on first down is a win, and Coleman understands that. His north-south approach keeps offenses on schedule and keeps him on the field. Footwork and Balance For a back of his size, his feet are better than you’d expect. Coleman has enough lateral quickness to slide between blocks and make decisive cuts in tight spaces. He doesn’t need wide lanes. He can get skinny and squeeze through traffic. The contact balance is the calling card. Arm tackles don’t slow him down. Denzel Boston – 2026 Dynasty Rookie Prospect
Denzel Boston Is Just a Good Football Player. He’s not the flashiest guy you’ll see, but he just keeps showing up. Some guys win with speed. Others win by being bigger or stronger. The ones that really stick usually win with technique, control, and knowing how to play the position. That’s where Denzel Boston stands out, and that’s why he’s my WR4 in the 2026 draft class. At 6’4” and 210 pounds, Boston looks the part right away. He uses his size, plays strong at the catch point, and consistently finishes through contact. He’s not just tall. He knows how to use his frame, shield defenders, and go get the football. Ball skills matter, and Boston has shown that over and over. That’s why I view him as a premier boundary X-receiver prospect. He doesn’t need to blow past defenders to win. He wins with body control, timing, and how he comes out of his breaks. He sinks his hips, stays balanced, and plays under control. That’s why his game works. Agility and short-area quickness show up more than straight-line speed, and Boston understands how to use that to his advantage. That showed up early in high school at Emerald Ridge, where he put together 105 catches for 1,572 yards and 23 touchdowns over his career. Brian Robinson Jr. Injury Reaction and Outlook
A day after sitting out the Commanders’ final preseason game, Brian Robinson Jr. was shot twice in the legs during an attempted carjacking. Robinson had been one of the biggest stories of the preseason thus far, ascending the Washington depth chart from perceived RB3 to potential RB1. He sat out the preseason finale, as many anticipate, as a safety precaution, which suggests a large role in the offense could have been possible for Robinson this season. However, this unfortunate turn of events will alter things.

DFF Draft Coverage: Jamin Davis to the Football Team
Jamin Davis entered the 2021 NFL draft as a redshirt junior. He was a starter for the University of Kentucky Wildcats for just one year. Davis topped off a very productive year with a break-out bowl game versus North Carolina State. He collected 13 tackles, was in on a QB sack, and picked off a pass to secure a victory. He ended the season with 102 tackles including four for loss and four forced turnovers.

Pro Day Round-Up
Today is March 11, 2021, this is important because we are less than a week away from Free Agency. On March 17th we will likely find out where players such as JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kenny Golladay, Aaron Jones, Will Fuller, Curtis Samuel, Corey Davis, Todd Gurley, Marvin Jones Jr., Kenyan Drake, T.Y. Hilton, A.J. Green, and Hunter Henry will land. There are 43 days until the NFL Draft, and in most years we would have the NFL Combine to overreact to, however, as you know the NFL Combine was canceled due to the pandemic. Although we do not get to see all of the relevant players get their testing measurables in the same conditions, we still will get good data from the school’s Pro-Days.
Draft Stock Watch: Week 12
The Week 12 slate of games saw a pair of ranked teams fall and a handful of the top teams in the nation get taken down to the wire, only to prevail late in the game. #10 Wisconsin lost a defensive battle against conference foe #19 Northwestern and #21 Liberty saw their game-winning field goal attempt blocked in an upset loss to unranked North Carolina State. On the draft front, many prospects had stand-out games and improved their stocks. While it was difficult to select just a couple of performances to feature, we’ll now review which players increased or decreased their ranks!

Dwayne Haskins: Rapid Reaction
In a surprising-to-some but expected-to-many outcome, the Washington Football team, led by Coach Riviera, has moved on from their 2019 1st round QB Dwayne Haskins. The preseason clearance of former Pro Bowl QB Alex Smith and the trade for Kyle Allen, who replaced Cam Newton in Carolina last year under Ron Riviera, meant that Haskins owners should’ve been hoping for a far better start to the season than what the Rose Bowl MVP and Ohio State Alumn has given us.
