Rapid Reaction to Landing Spot: Sharing is caring, but if he can find his way in the mix, this is a good place, but upside is capped with minimal opportunity, as long as Dobbins is active 

Jonah  Coleman was drafted 108th  overall by the Denver Broncos in the 4th round of the NFL draft. He joins a crowded Broncos backfield, where multiple backs usually find their way into the mix. I’m personally viewing him as Dobbins’s eventual replacement. I think he is the one who will get the current Dobbins’ work similarly. He will have an opportunity to earn meaningful playtime, especially if Dobbins ends up injured, as he has been pretty much every season of his career. Coleman looks to fall in line to be the Dobbins replacement sooner if not later. There is value to be had here. Coleman can easily end up as an every-week play in your lineup. And the price to acquire him will be at value. 

FANTASY INSIGHTS

His collegiate career began with the Arizona Wildcats. Coleman joined their program as a 3-star recruit in the 2022 class. He transferred to Washington two seasons ago and had a breakout season in 2024. He ran for 1,053 yards and ten touchdowns. Coleman runs downhill with physicality and power, setting the tone with his play style. A running back type mold that head coach Sean Peyton usually has at his disposal in his backfield, Coleman’s strong frame makes it difficult for defenders to bring him down on first contact. Coleman is a moving battering ram of a “bowling ball” runner with premier contact balance and low-center-of-gravity agility. Coleman’s ability to catch the ball and his lock-tight ball handling make him a high-floor prospect to add immediate impact to the Denver backfield if called upon.  Coleman is a high-floor rookie at compact 5’8″, strong frame, elite contact balance, and reliable three-down skill set. He thrives in pass protection and as a pass catcher, with exceptional ball security (no fumbles on over 450 college totes).
