Sleeper Series Jamison Crowder

Sleeper Series: Jamison Crowder

After writing my redraft team breakdown series, I decided to start a new series as we approach the 2020 fantasy season. Every week, or probably more often than that, I’m going to bring you one fantasy sleeper representing a massive value in 2020 redraft leagues. All the links to previous articles are at the bottom of the article. In the first article, I detailed my methodology behind this series, so go back and read that piece if you haven’t yet! Now, I want to take a look at Jamison Crowder. My friend @DocFFN recently wrote a free dynasty profile on Crowder, but I wanted to look at Crowder’s redraft prospects. I also wanted to take more of a long-form approach, as the dynasty free profiles are quick-hitters. Anyway, Crowder might play for the hapless Jets, but I think he deserves some attention as a sleeper for 2020 PPR redraft leagues. Let’s get into why.

Sleeper Series: Sterling Shepard

Sleeper Series: Sterling Shepard

Now, I want to jump into Sterling Shepard. I wrote a redraft breakdown about Shepard and the rest of the Giants in May as my first piece in that 32-part series. Outside of star running back Saquon Barkley, the Giants have four secondary offensive options in Darius Slayton, Evan Engram, Golden Tate, and Shepard. Back then, I recommended fading Shepard and saw Golden Tate as the best sleeper in the Giants offense. However, at this point, I’ve come around to Shepard as the best overall option at cost. Let’s get into why.

Redraft Mock – Zero-RB Approach

Mock drafts are a place to let your wildest ideas play out in hopes of developing a new strategy for how to attack your 2020 drafts. In this 12-team redraft mock, I selected out of the 10th spot. I chose this spot because I typically don’t like to draft from the end. So, to be as prepared as possible, I wanted to see what kind of team I could come up with selecting at the end of this snake draft. Going into the draft I did not have a set plan on what I wanted to do other than to choose who I felt was the best available player on the board regardless of position. This process turned into a zero-RB approach, which I have never endorsed or tried previously. So join me as I venture into the always polarizing strategy of the zero-RB.

Sleeper Series: Sony Michel

Sleeper Series: Sony Michel

After writing my redraft team breakdown series, I decided to start a new series as we approach the 2020 fantasy season. Every week, or probably more often than that, I’m going to bring you one fantasy sleeper representing a massive value in 2020 redraft leagues. In my first article, I wrote about Hayden Hurst and how he represents a value. Additionally, I detailed my methodology behind this series, so go back and read that piece if you haven’t yet! Let’s jump into my second player, Sony Michel. I’ve come a long way on Michel since I buried him in my “Dead to Me” series. Well, that isn’t entirely true, but let’s get into exactly how I feel about Michel since it’s a complicated story.

Redraft Team Focus: Patriots

I’m analyzing every one of the 32 NFL teams and all of their redraft-relevant fantasy assets in this article series. It’s a long project, but I want to make sure that you, the reader, have something you can refer to for every team. For each article, I’ll split up the fantasy assets into three categories: high-end assets, usable contributors, and dart throws. Let’s jump into the Patriots.

Dead to Me

Year after year you get your hopes up just to be let down by inconsistent, underwhelming, and untimely performances. These guys are only hot when they burn you, otherwise, their fantasy production is as cold as ice

AFC East Factory Divisional Nuggets: Week 8

Parker has caught 50 yards or a touchdown in each of the last four games. It’s no surprise his targets and production have increased since Ryan Fitzpatrick was named the starter. He’s received 8 targets and is the WR20 in the two games with Fitzpatrick as the starter. Parker has one of the highest average depths of target (aDot) (15.5) among receivers with over 30 targets. He has a higher aDot than Kenny Golladay and Mike Williams. He’s also tied for fifth in average targeted air yards (15.4) among pass catchers. Look for him on your waivers if available. Otherwise, stash him if you got him. It doesn’t appear he will be traded — one of the few pieces the Fins are willing to hang on to.

AFC East Factory Divisional Nuggets: Week 6

Josh Allen put on one of his best performances of the season just a week after suffering a concussion against the New England Patriots. He didn’t set the world on fire, but he was more than competent in leading his team to victory. He threw for a season-high 71.88% completion rate and the only two scores for the Bills against the number six passing defense in the league. Allen has also rushed for three touchdowns this season and is averaging 31.6 yards-per-game, down from 52.6 in 2018. That said, his rushing production thrusts him into fantasy relevancy. He was the QB12 in Week 5 and is QB16 on the season after the bye week. Allen is a fringe top 12 quarterback rest of season and has even higher upside based on matchups. He gets the Dolphins in Week 7 and that means you want Josh Allen in your lineup.

Super Bowl LIII Fantasy Spotlight

As Super Bowl LIII approaches and the hype continues to grow, fantasy football may seem like a distant memory. It’s been over a month since the 2018 fantasy season wrapped up, and 2019 fantasy drafts aren’t anywhere near the horizon. The betting odds have fluctuated throughout the season for the Rams and Patriots, (though the Rams
