Redraft Mock – Zero-RB Approach

Mock drafts are a place to let your wildest ideas play out in hopes of developing a new strategy for how to attack your 2020 drafts. In this 12-team redraft mock, I selected out of the 10th spot. I chose this spot because I typically don’t like to draft from the end. So, to be as prepared as possible, I wanted to see what kind of team I could come up with selecting at the end of this snake draft. Going into the draft I did not have a set plan on what I wanted to do other than to choose who I felt was the best available player on the board regardless of position. This process turned into a zero-RB approach, which I have never endorsed or tried previously. So join me as I venture into the always polarizing strategy of the zero-RB.

Dead to Me: Curtis Samuel

After writing one of my “Dead to Me” articles, I remembered how much I enjoyed it. In this series, I figuratively bury a new player in each column. Typically, I expect that player to stay buried after the 2020 season, and the player I’m discussing had significant fantasy value or fantasy hype in the past. Now, it’s Curtis Samuel’s turn at the redraft tombstone.

DFF Redraft Staff Half-PPR Mock Review

The DFF team recently did a half-PPR redraft mock. The draft was for a typical 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex, 1 TE, 1 D/ST redraft format with no special bonuses. I want to go through my draft and strategy, round-by-round, and talk through what I was thinking at each pick. Let’s jump into it.

Redraft Team Focus: Panthers

Despite the Panthers’ poor quarterback play in 2019 from Cam Newton, Kyle Allen, and Will Grier, Moore flourished. He had 87 receptions on 135 targets for 1,175 yards and four touchdowns, and he finished just behind McCaffrey in targets and led the Panthers in receiving yards. Moore was the WR16 in 2019 in 15 games and averaged 15.4 PPR points per game, 16th among wide receivers.

NFL Schedule Release Reaction

This article will be a reaction to the release of the 2020 NFL schedule. Most of all, I’m excited that we have a schedule. I’m looking forward to the return of football in September, and this schedule makes it feel more real. Specifically, I’ll go through the two things that matter the most in redraft formats: bye weeks and early-season schedules.

His contract also contains $3.75 million in incentives, making Funchess’ maximum salary $6.25 million. Therefore, if Funchess performs well, he has the opportunity to earn a significant amount of extra money. Before going into Funchess’ future outlook, let’s look back at how he arrived at this point in his career.
