Jahmyr Gibbs: 2021 Devy Profile

Jahmyr Gibbs produced early and often for the Yellow Jackets. In his first collegiate game, Gibbs had 126 yards from scrimmage and scored a TD both on the ground and in the air. He also returned two kickoffs for 93 yards. It was clear that the Georgia Tech offense was centered around getting Gibbs the ball in space. Gibbs rushed for 460 yards and four TDs on his 89 attempts. He had 5.2 yards per rush against the ACC defenders. Gibbs showed that he is an elite pass catcher in his freshman season. He caught 24 passes for 303 yards and three TDs.

1 QB Dynasty Startup First Round Part 2

Intro With the dynasty offseason in full swing, I wanted to give everyone a quick look into my dynasty startup first-round. I know the top players aren’t usually controversial, but I believe it’s essential to understand why particular players carry such a high dynasty value. Also, I won’t include any 2021 rookie players or picks. I don’t see a Saquon Barkley-type prospect that could crack the first round of startups this year, at least not without a perfect landing spot and draft capital.  I covered the first six players in a previous article, and now it’s time to cover the second six players here. In this segment, we will be looking at the hit rate of rookie running backs based on the inputs of draft capital, and age. Using DLF’s trade finder tool we will look at the market value of some of the top running backs in the league. Dynasty Running Backs to Sell

Today I’ll be giving you three running backs to sell in this one, from now throughout the offseason. Each RB comes with a different situation and reasoning for getting out now before it is too late. However, I preface this advice with minding the fact that each fantasy league and situation are different. So use this article as more of a weight on the proverbial trade scale and not the determining factor for making any moves in your leagues. I try to analyze each of my teams and my leagues before determining whether to make any offseason moves. But, for the most part, I normally make offers leading up to draft time. If you can get a deal completed a little ahead of the offseason hype then it will greatly benefit you. Try to push some of the following players, but always remember: only sell players for the right price. You don’t want to shoot yourself in the foot before next season gets here. David Montgomery Finishing sixth overall at the running back position was nowhere near where people expected Montgomery to land in points scored by the end of the season. I advise you to take that end of year push that he had and cash in his value at its peak. Teammate Tarik Cohen will return in 2021 to siphon away the passing work that Monty enjoyed in his absence. Michael Thomas: 2020 Dynasty Profile

The Saints drafted Thomas with the 47th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The Saints had Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead established as their top two receivers with tight end Coby Fleener as a free-agent acquisition from the Colts. Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Deonte Harris

Week 6 is in the books, and we are barrelling toward the midpoint of the NFL season. I am back to help you fill out the back end of your roster. Once again, this is not a waiver wire column, these are players that you could add now or wait and watch. My goal is to make you aware of some players off the beaten path. This week we are looking into the New Orleans Saints receiving corps with an electric player out of Assumption College, a 2019 All-Pro, and a Pro Bowler in Year 1. Michael Thomas Injury Fallout

In Week 1, superstar Saints’ wide receiver Michael Thomas suffered a “high ankle injury.” While details have come out slowly, the Saints now expect Thomas potentially to miss multiple weeks, and they could place him on injured reserve. If Thomas goes to IR, he will miss three games. At the very least, Thomas will almost certainly miss the Saints’ Monday night game against the Raiders. Whether he plays or not, you likely can’t rely on him because he will be a game-time decision on Monday night. If you have Thomas, I would hope he sits out and doesn’t try to play through it. Saquon Barkley and Alvin Kamara had the same injury in 2019 and came back too quickly. You don’t want Thomas to do the same and miss the rest of 2020.

Boston Scott: 2020 Dynasty Profile

For dynasty leagues, Scott presents an excellent cheap buy at the running back position. In leagues with two mandatory running back starters, I would suggest accumulating players like Scott, Tarik Cohen, and the like, as they come far cheaper than workhorse backs. Scott will be an excellent PPR asset, and receiving backs tend to have longer careers. Just look at Scott’s predecessor, Sproles, for example.

Fantasy Saviour’s 2020 Redraft Review

There really is nothing more exciting than draft season. This is my first time competing in the DFF redraft championship, so the pressure was and still is firmly on. The league format was 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 Flex, 1 TE, 1 D/ST. I landed the 9th spot in the 12-team draft and this is how the dominoes fell. Rounds 1-2 My early-round strategy of smashing running back in the first two rounds follows suit with most in the industry. At 1.09 I passed on Michael Thomas to take Josh Jacobs, the RB9 in my rankings. Unfortunately, I missed out on Miles Sanders by one pick. But, I was happy to take the safe option in Jacobs with the guaranteed volume and goal-line work.  At 2.04 I was praying one of my top 14 RBs got back to me and the stars aligned for Joe Mixon to fall into my lap. This steal was made possible due to the potential holdout. But, after hearing Zac Taylor say he expected Mixon to be ready for week 1 I was delighted to snap him up this late.  Rounds 3-4 In many drafts, I would consider a third RB here. But, due to the 3 WR format, I decided to focus on the receivers. At 3.09 I selected D.J. Moore who was the 11th WR taken. I feel like Moore is a safe pick due to volume and getting him at this value made the selection a no-brainer.  At 4.04 I wanted to pair Moore with a WR who I view
