Dynasty Story: Mike Williams

In April, I started writing a series focusing on one player at a time, called “A Redraft Journey.” I wrote about Austin Ekeler, Allen Robinson, and recently about Melvin Gordon. I love writing about redraft, but I realized that I could bring this style over to dynasty. In a dynasty story, I’ll look more at dynasty value and how a player has fluctuated over time, primarily based on news or events. Then, I’ll give a dynasty take on their future value and whether dynasty owners should buy or sell the player going forward. Let’s jump into Mike Williams, the subject of my first dynasty story.

Redraft Team Focus: Bears

I’m analyzing every one of the 32 NFL teams and all of their redraft-relevant fantasy assets in this article series. It’s a long project, but I want to make sure that you, the reader, have something you can refer to for every team. For each article, I’ll split up the fantasy assets into three categories: high-end assets, usable contributors, and dart throws. Let’s jump into the Bears.

Taxi Squad Spring Cleaning: Part 1

In this series of articles, I’ll be taking a look at rookies from the 2019 class that can be removed from your taxi squads to make room for 2020 rookies. These are players that all have little to no dynasty value, but those dynasty owners selected in at least some 2019 rookie drafts. I’ll reference my 2019 rookie rankings from late May to give an idea of where I valued these players. My rankings are for a 1QB, PPR format.

Can Bad Passing Offenses Provide Fantasy Relevant Wide Receivers? Part 1

Are wide receivers from a bad offense who score the most fantasy points good long term fantasy assets? Though that seems intuitive, I wanted to take a look past history to see what could be deduced from the information. Gathering data is instructive. You start out looking for one thing, but you never know what you will find once you begin to parse the data.

Dynasty Discount Buys: Allen Robinson

Entering the 2018 season many dynasty owners had Allen Robinson on their buy list. With an ADP as the 13th wide receiver off the board according to Fantasy Football Calculator, it’s fair to say that most dynasty players thought that Robinson would finish as a top 15 (if not better) wide receiver in 2018. Instead, he

Trading Post: Nuk Bomb

Welcome back to the semi-regular series “The Trading Post”. One of my favorite aspects of Dynasty Football is making trades. So much so that I actually co-host a podcast on the subject, the DynastyTradesHQ podcast (subscribe today!). I make a lot of trades, partly due to being in 25+ dynasty leagues, partly due to a

Devil in the Details: Allen Robinson, WR, Chicago Bears

Take the Money and Run: Contracts Not only is talent evaluation and scheme knowledge extremely important in building a successful dynasty team, but understanding contracts is an equally important cog in the successful Dynasty football team owner’s wheelhouse. Owners who stay ahead of the game and understand when a productive fantasy player can still be

Allen Robinson and Trey Burton to the Bears, Oh my!

It’s hard to not get excited about the signing of [profiler]Allen Robinson[/profiler]; this is huge for the Bears. They’ve given Allen Robinson forty-two million reasons to be a part of this young nucleus. Chicago is a young offensive team. I don’t see any reason this wouldn’t help second-year Mitch Trubisky take the next step in
