Hello again! Today, I want to project where I think some offensive skill position players are going to land in the first round of The NFL Draft. Some may be wishful thinking but I’m trying to stay objective.
Carolina Panthers – 1.1
Anthony Richardson (QB-Florida)
The guy is a total bust in my opinion but I think he’s the Panthers guy. Why trade your best WR away when you’re about to draft a rookie QB… unless you’re drafting one that can’t throw anyway.
Houston Texans – 1.2
Bryce Young (QB-Alabama)
I like what the Texans are doing and love Young here. DeMeco Ryans is doing some good things and Young should be able to utilize new weapons Dalton Schultz and Bobby Trees (Robert Woods) well. Here’s hoping John Metchie can get on the field! And don’t forget about fellow Michigan Man Nico Collins!
Detroit Lions – 1.6
CJ Stroud (QB-OSU)
The best QB from this class lands in an ideal situation on a high-powered offense and a coming team with The Sun God and Jameson Williams to throw to. I would want to own CJ Stroud EVERYWHERE if this were to happen!

Atlanta Falcons – 1.8
Will Levis (QB-UK)
The kid that has bust written all over him lands in ATL with Drake London and Kyle Pitts to throw too. Zach Wilson would easily beat out Desmond Ridder to be the Week 1 starter, and like with Wilson, the Falcons will give him about a year and a half before they cut bait and attempt to find a real QB.
Houston Texans – 1.12
Jordan Addison (WR-USC)
The Texans take the second-best WR in this class in Addison to add another great weapon for their rookie QB. It will be fun watching Young and Addison grow together. Rookie QB/WR combos are always solid!
New England Patriots – 1.14
Quentin Johnston (WR-TCU)
Rough landing spot for the body catcher here. I don’t want any WR tied to Big Mac Attack. Will get on the field right away as they have no competition, but Mac Jones‘ limited upside caps his value.
Green Bay Packers – 1.15
Josh Downs (WR-UNC)
The Packers set up Jordan Love to succeed more than they ever did with Aaron Rodgers by getting him another weapon to pair with Christian Watson. I’m a big Love supporter and like the landing spot here. Josh Downs is a fun guy with amazing footwork.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 1.19
Bijan Robinson (RB-TB)
Couldn’t ask for a better landing spot than the already-anointed overall dynasty RB1. Rachaad White is fun to dream of but he isn’t a true RB1 in the league. Bijan is and will get the rock a ton for the Bucs, especially with Bake at the helm. Bijan to the MOON with this landing spot.
Los Angeles Charges – 1.21
Jalin Hyatt (WR-Tenn)
Such a dream landing spot for Hyatt. He’s a TyFreak-style WR that can run the go route better than anyone else but can’t do much else. That pairs NICELY with Herbert’s huge arm and current lack of downfield weapons. Hyatt immediately becomes this class’ WR2 behind JSN and leaps over all the guys above if this landing spot happens.
Baltimore Ravens – 1.22
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR-OSU)
This class’s best WR who the fantasy community views much higher than actual NFL GMs finally comes off the board. The Ravens and LJack (Lamar Jackson) finally work out a deal for him to return to Baltimore and in a gesture of good faith the Ravens draft a competent WR for him to throw to. JSN’s slot extraordinaire style fits what LJack does well in the throwing game. This spot instantly boosts up both LJack and JSN cementing JSN as the non-Superflex rookie 1.2. However, your league mates may chase the other WRs drafted ahead of him, LET THEM!
Buffalo Bills – 1.27
Jahmyr Gibbs (RB-Alabama)
As much as I want them to give Damien Harris a real chance at running this backfield I just don’t see it. This is an excellent landing spot for Gibbs as the Buffalo Offense has lacked a top RB for a long time and Gibbs’ past catching chops will aid Josh Allen out of the backfield.
