After walking away from the first three rounds with Brock Bowers, Ashton Jeanty, and Baker Mayfield, I entered Day 2 of the startup draft ready to build around that elite foundation, locking in key contributors who offer immediate upside and long-term star potential. With the 4.02, 5.11, and 6.02 picks, I continued drafting with conviction and walked away with three players who each have league-winning upside.

One of the most valuable under-the-radar assets in Dynasty Fantasy Football has to be anyone on the running back depth chart for the 49ers. With news this week of Isaac Guerendoโs shoulder injury and nagging health history, youโre going to hear the name Jordan James more as Guerendo is expected to miss multiple weeks, and Christian McCaffrey wonโt see the field until Week 1. Itโs not out of the range of possibilities that we witness another Oregon RB (see Bucky Irving) quickly ascend in valuation as the season progresses.

Letโs talk about Tyler Allgeier, one of the most underrated bench stashes in all of Dynasty and Redraft right now. Heโs going late in the double-digit rounds of most startup drafts, if heโs even being drafted at all in shallower formats, and thatโs exactly the kind of profile I want to scoop before the rest of the league catches on. If youโre rostering Bijan Robinsonย heโs a must. But even if youโre not, Allgeier is one of the best handcuff values you can grab and stash right now.

Let me tell you why Joshua Palmer is one of the most slept on grab-and-stash profile players entering the 2025 season. He is also being drafted in the 18th to 25th round range or not at all in shallower leagues. But make no mistake, this is the kind of player who ends up helping you win games in the back half of the season. Iโm urging subscribers right now, get ahead of the curve, grab him cheap in trades, and stash him while his value is still flying under the radar.

Jalen Tolbert finally made an impact last season for the Dallas Cowboys. Taken 88th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, Tolbert had a quiet two years before posting 49/610/7 in a 2024 season largely played without Dak Prescott. Jerry and Co. added George Pickens to the receiving corps via trade in the offseason, and Special Teams standout KaVontae Turpin showed out in certain spots of the passing game. Still, Tolbert has locked in the WR3 spot with elevated expectations heading into the 2025 Campaign.ย

Jermaine Burton was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, with the 80th overall pick. He is a wide receiver who played college football for the University of Alabama. The Bengals’ decision to draft Burton was based on confidence in their team culture to help him develop, but his rookie season saw some of the expected concerns regarding reliability and character come to fruition.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith (KLS) had a nice day at the Hall of Fame Game. Two grabs for 43 yards with a TD, and yes, I get it was the first preseason contest AND weโre starving for football. But if youโve been paying attention to Chargers Training Camp reports, you already know KLS has been the emerging story.ย
