Thursday Night Weekly Kickoff

Week three of “Thursday Night Kick-off” starts with a defensive divisional matchup. The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Tennessee Titans. With both teams coming off a loss, a win is needed to get back on track. This makes for a great game to start your daily fantasy week off with and is located under the classic section of Draft Kings. This is game one out of 16 total scheduled games this week, so it’s imperative to get a great start so you can finish strong on Sunday. So let’s hunker down and see what fantasy gold we can add to our team this week to put us in the “Green”.

Cream Rises To The Top (CRTT)

People often say the preseason is worthless. Either the game plans are too basic and there is nothing on the line. Sometimes injuries could lead to losing a favorite player on the draft board. But to me, the preseason is the most crucial part of the fantasy football season. It’s all about knowing what to look for. Here are some examples of key traits to be aware of:……………

Ravens Ground and Pound

00The Ravens have been a running team since the beginning, with Jamaal Lewis, Priest Holmes, and yes, even Justin Forsett. What is hard to accept is that having a stable running game keeps your defense fresh and keeps the defensive coordinator on the other team guessing. Let’s take a deeper look at the Ravens ground …

OBJ to Cleveland: A New York State of Mind

Chris Smith and Sam Terry had the pleasure of combining on the topic of the fantasy fallout for the New York Giants once the Odell Beckham, Jr. trade went down. Here are their thoughts: Chris: The Giants finally made a move in the Free Agency Frenzy this off-season. But they didn’t pick up a big …

Wide Receivers Post-Combine Outlook

Let the hype train begin–it’s wide receiver time! This was the best group of offensive players at the combine, so let’s break them down and see what we can find. I’ve separated them into two categories. The first group could have an immediate impact next season. The second group will need work but have a …

Quarterbacks of the 2019 NFL Draft

Ok, it’s quarterback time and this year it’s a very short list. First, let’s look at the league as a whole. A lot of general managers aren’t happy about missing out on Patrick Mahomes. To understand what I mean think of it this way: 31 teams missed on a franchise quarterback. Based on the MVP …

Tight End NFL Draft

Let’s see what rookie tight ends could have some fantasy production in the 2019 season. Normally tight ends take time to develop, but there might be some fantasy gold in this year’s draft. The most important thing about the tight end position is the system. I have two great examples of what I mean. Eric …

NFL Running Backs Combine Eval

Hey fantasy loyalists, the NFL Combine is here, and it’s time to evaluate the running backs. What are we looking for, exactly? You hear a lot of things, like how a forty time dictates how successful a football player can be. Others say there is nothing to learn from guys running around in tights and …

NBA Fantasy Basketball Corner

Well, it’s been a busy week in fantasy basketball. Rondo suspended three games for fighting and spitting on Chris Paul. Chris Paul suspended two games for throwing two punches. And Brandon Ingram suspended four games for throwing a punch and getting in a referee’s face and last for pushing James Harden. To say people lost …

Daily Fantasy Basketball Season Preview

The NBA season is finally here and based on the projections it’s going to be a three-peat for the Golden State Warriors. But not so fast, this season is a lot more even than people think. The Lakers have more talent on this team than the Cleveland Cavaliers and should challenge the Warriors for the …

NFC South Week 6 Fantasy Preview

The NFC South has been more similar to the “Wild West” than it has the “Deep South” this year. The Falcons are 1-4. Calvin Ridley is outscoring Julio Jones in Fantasy. Jameis Winston is being challenged for the starting job by Ryan Fitzpatrick… It’s a weird little division. That’s why I’m here to bring you …

NFC East Week 6 Fantasy Preview

What to Watch For: Will any team in this division finish with a winning record? I think it’s a wait-and-see but…probably not. As bad as this division looked this week with all the teams taking a loss, it seems like an 8-8 record will win the division. With Josh Norman getting benched at halftime because …
