2025 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft with Landing Spots

As we anxiously await the NFL Combine and NFL Draft to get underway, it’s a great time to run through a Dynasty Rookie mock draft with real NFL landing spots for the 2025 class. For this exercise, I’m using the three-round NFL mock draft released by NFL Draft Analyst Chad Reuter earlier this month. If you’re curious to see his complete mock draft, you can view the results here. For Dynasty purposes, I’ll list all the non-IDP fantasy players (QB, RB, WR, TE) with their draft capital and landing spot below (this mock did include a few trade-ups).

Round 1

1.01: Cameron Ward (QB – Tennessee Titans)

1.02: Travis Hunter (CB/WR – Cleveland Browns)

1.03: Shedeur Sanders (QB – New York Giants)

1.06: Ashton Jeanty (RB – Las Vegas Raiders)

1.09: Tyler Warren (TE – New Orleans Saints)

1.12: Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Dallas Cowboys)

1.16: Colston Loveland (TE – Denver Broncos)

1.21: Quinshon Judkins (RB – Pittsburgh Steelers)

1.26: Luther Burden III (WR – Los Angeles Rams)

1.27: Emeka Egbuka (WR – Philadelphia Eagles)

1.31: Jaxson Dart (QB – New York Jets)

Round 2

2.01: Quinn Ewers (QB – Cleveland Browns)

2.03: Xavier Restrepo (WR – Tennessee Titans)

2.05: Matthew Golden (WR – Las Vegas Raiders)

2.12: Omarion Hampton (RB – Dallas Cowboys)

2.13: Elijah Arroyo (TE – Indianapolis Colts)

2.17: Tez Johnson (WR – Cincinnati Bengals)

2.20: Jalen Milroe (QB – Pittsburgh Steelers)

2.30: Jack Bech (WR – Buffalo Bills)

2.31: Jaydon Blue (RB – Kansas City Chiefs)

Round 3

3.05: Isaiah Bond (WR – New England Patriots)

3.06: Mason Taylor (TE – Jacksonville Jaguars)

3.07: Tre Harris (WR – New Orleans Saints)

3.08: Kaleb Johnson (RB – Chicago Bears)

3.13: TreVeyon Henderson (RB – New England Patriots)

3.14: Savion Williams (WR – Arizona Cardinals)

3.17: Harold Fannin Jr. (TE – Cincinnati Bengals)

3.24: Trevor Etienne (RB – Jacksonville Jaguars)

3.25: Dillon Gabriel (QB – Miami Dolphins)

3.26: Kyle McCord (QB – Los Angeles Rams)

3.27: Jalen Royals (WR – Baltimore Ravens)

3.33: Dylan Sampson (RB – Minnesota Vikings)

3.34: Jaylin Lane (WR – Miami Dolphins)

Certainly, a number of surprises in this mock draft from Reuter. A few notable guys missing from the list include Jayden Higgins, Devin Neal, Elic Ayomanor, and Cameron Skattebo. A few spicy takes in terms of risers included Jaydon Blue (2.31), Jaylin Lane (3.34), and Quinn Ewers (2.01). Also, a couple pretty cool things to note: Xavier Restrepo links back up with his college quarterback in Tennessee, and Trevor Etienne joins his brother in Jacksonville.

Now that we have our player list, draft capital, and landing spots as references, let’s dive into our 2025 Dynasty Rookie mock. My selections are based on a 12-team Superflex, PPR, Tight End Premium format.

1.01 Ashton Jeanty – Las Vegas Raiders

Going Top 10 in the draft confirms what we already knew: Jeanty is the same tier prospect as Bijan Robinson and should be the 1.01 in all Dynasty formats, without question. He’ll be the clear three-down workhorse in this backfield and should be valued as the RB3 overall in Dynasty.

1.02 Cam Ward – Tennessee Titans

The situation may not be ideal, but the first overall pick and the QB1 of the class deserves an early selection in Superflex. Ward is a highly gifted athlete and improviser. It may not be the most exciting pick, but it’s the right one. He could absolutely be a Round 1 startup pick this time next year.

1.03 Tyler Warren – New Orleans Saints

New Orleans is in dire need of another legitimate pass catcher. There’s virtually no competition at tight end here, with Juwan Johnson entering free agency and Foster Moreau as the only other notable guy on contract. Combine the Top 10 draft capital with Tight End Premium scoring, and I believe having Warren third overall is justified here.

shedeur

1.04 Shedeur Sanders – New York Giants

The New York Football Giants grab their future franchise quarterback at #3 overall. Malik Nabers now has one of the most accurate passers in college football throwing to him. They may not win a ton right away, but they’ll be fun to watch. I have Ward higher simply because he projects to score a few points per game on the ground. While Sanders is as elusive and mobile as anyone, he doesn’t use his legs to score fantasy points.

1.05 Tetairoa McMillan – Dallas Cowboys

Downside is McMillan is going to be the Robin to CeeDee Lamb‘s Batman for the foreseeable future. Upside is there should be more than enough volume for both these stars to eat on a weekly basis. Prescott has thrown for over 4,400 yards in a season three different times. They may have had a down year in 2024 due to injuries, but this is an offense we want to invest in for fantasy.

1.06 Colston Loveland – Denver Broncos

The Broncos actually traded up from pick 20 in this draft to secure their guy, Colston Loveland. We know Sean Payton loves his tight ends and got himself a gem with Loveland. The Michigan prospect was elite from a per-route perspective in 2024 and moves like a wide receiver out there. Wheels up.

1.07 Omarion Hampton – Dallas Cowboys

Speaking of the Dallas Cowboys, it appears they found their new RB1 in the second round, selecting Omarion Hampton out of North Carolina. This is a dream landing spot for Hampton. Even if you were anti-Hampton as a prospect, you have to be excited about the possibilities here from a fantasy perspective.

judkins

1.08 Quinshon Judkins – Pittsburgh Steelers

You can easily argue Judkins over Hampton, given the first-round capital Judkins received. I just prefer the Dallas landing spot. With Judkins off the board at pick 21, we can assume this means Najee is off to greener pastures for 2025. Stylistically, Juddy just feels like a guy Arthur Smith is going to love.

1.09 Jaxson Dart – New York Jets

The Aaron Rodgers Era has come to an end in New York (to the relief of many). There’s a new sheriff in town, and his name is Jaxson Dart. In this mock draft, the Jets traded up to pick 31, giving the Chiefs their 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th round picks in return. A move like this confirms Dart will be starting under center at some point in 2025 for the Jets, making him a clear first-round value in this rookie mock.

1.10 Luther Burden III – Los Angeles Rams

McVay grabs his replacement for Cooper Kupp with the 26th overall pick here. With the possibility of Kupp, Demarcus Robinson, and Tutu Atwell all gone in 2025, there are a ton of vacated targets for Burden to soak up in LA. He’ll be the clear second option after Puka Nacua, who caps his ceiling a bit. Hopefully Stafford stays put so Burden has some competent quarterback play.

1.11 Travis Hunter – Cleveland Browns

While going second overall is a big deal, there are two big issues here. First, Hunter may be dealing with rookie QB Quinn Ewers at the helm, as Cleveland selected him at #33 overall. Secondly, we have no idea what kind of snap share Hunter is seeing on offense. We now know Hunter declared as a CB for the NFL Combine, which shouldn’t be too surprising. Elite ceiling but a very low floor. Late first feels about right for the level of risk we’re taking on.

1.12 Emeka Egbuka – Philadelphia Eagles

While we love to see Egbuka sneak into the first round here, the landing spot certainly could have been better. As it stands today, Egbuka would project to be the WR3 in a run-heavy offense. That doesn’t sound like a very exciting fantasy asset. Still, maybe Philly trades AJ Brown, and opportunity opens up. This is Dynasty, after all; talent over opportunity.

To wrap things up, I’ll give you my Round 2 selections below, minus the explanation. If you have any thoughts on my selections, hit me up on X/Twitter @jim_DFF, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
