This weekly article is focused on identifying players who are owned in less than 40% of redraft leagues. These players are going to help your team win this week and every week to come! We are looking for guys you should be able to plug into your starting lineup without hesitation.
Be sure to check out all of our in-season content right here.
(There will be no recommended FAAB spends in this article, as those decisions always depend on your team’s needs)
Jalen Guyton (WR – LAC)
Ownership: 15.83%
If you’re in any deeper leagues and need a wide receiver target, Guyton is your guy. He’s owned in very few leagues due to his low target share but he’s scored 14+ PPR fantasy points in two of the last three weeks. Rookie star quarterback, Justin Herbert, has built a connection with Guyton on deep balls and provides that upside many fantasy teams need.
Rashard Higgins (WR – CLE)
Ownership: 12.70%
Higgins is a much more sustainable waiver wire target and where I’d suggest you spend your FAAB. Odell Beckham Jr.’s self-reported season-ending ACL injury opens the door for guys like Rashard Higgins. Higgins made the most of his opportunity in Beckham’s absence, catching all six targets for 110 yards. This isn’t his first time seeing some action this year though, he even produced while Beckham was healthy. He caught all three targets for 31 yards and a touchdown two weeks ago. You should be able to plug and play Higgins for the rest of the season.
Harrison Bryant (TE – CLE)
Ownership: 21.40%
Bryant exploded on the scene this past week after scoring two touchdowns in Austin Hooper’s absence against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7. This isn’t a surprise for anyone paying really close attention this season. Bryant impressed early in camp this year and got himself on the field even while Hooper was healthy. He caught a touchdown in Week 3 and caught four of four targets the following game. He could get buried on the depth chart again once Hooper returns but until then he’s worth rostering.
Tevin Coleman (RB – SF)
Ownership: 29.57%
The 49er’s backfield has been an enigma all season, not at all different from 2019. San Francisco has been banged up more than most of the teams this year, if that’s even possible. Coleman was actually one of the first to catch the injury bug but it’s all come full circle, as things tend to do. Jeffery Wilson recently took the reins after Raheem Mostert suffered a knee injury but now Wilson is out as well, returning Coleman to a lead role. In a fantasy landscape desperate for running backs Tevin Coleman may be a sight for sore eyes.
Josh Reynolds (WR – LAR)
Ownership: 35.43%
Reynolds had a slow start to the 2020 season and was drowned out in the fantasy community by the Van Jefferson hype all offseason. But, he has really come on as of late. Reynolds scored a touchdown in each of the last two weeks and put up double-digit fantasy performances as well. He’s still out there on plenty of waiver wires and worth an add if you need a bye week fill-in or flex option.
LEAVE ON THE WIRE
Marquez Callaway (WR – NOS)
Ownership: 10.40%
Callaway shouldn’t cost a ton if you do decide to go after him but I would caution everyone to spend very little FAAB, if any, on this potential acquisition. Callaway caught eight of 10 targets for 75 yards in Michael Thomas‘ and Emmanuel Sanders’ absence in Week 7. Callaway’s Week 7 production is simply not sustainable, especially once a few receivers return from injury. Let others waste FAAB on this pick-up.
