Early 2020 Rookie Redraft Primer Part 3

At Oklahoma, Lamb found wild success. He played three years with a series of star college quarterbacks: Baker Mayfield in 2017, Kyler Murray in 2018, and Jalen Hurts in 2019. In total, Lamb had 173 catches for 3,292 yards and 32 touchdowns. His 2019 performance solidified his status as the WR1 in this class, as he had 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Keep in mind, this is just who I have watched to this point so far. As I watch more game film and prospects, I will update this list accordingly.

Don’t Count Out Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts came onto the scene as a true freshman for Alabama in 2016 and immediately captured the attention of the college football world after scoring four times in Alabama’s 52 to 6 beatdown of USC to start the season. Hurts was a four-star recruit, but very few expected that he would play right away for Alabama when he initially made his commitment (for context, he was only the 15th ranked Alabama commit according to the 247 consensus rankings). Hurts was considered to be a dual-threat quarterback, so it wasn’t entirely clear how he would fit into Lane Kiffin’s offense. If you had for some reason forgotten that Lane Kiffin was the offensive coordinator for Alabama at that time, I apologize for reminding you.
