Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down: Arizona Cardinals

Welcome back to the “Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down” series (offseason edition). We are just a few months away from all of the offseason madness, as teams prepare for free agency and the NFL Draft. Meanwhile, we as dynasty managers need to be preparing as well. Who are we going to target in rookie drafts? Who are we going to go out and trade for? Who are we willing to give up in return? Will you go all in this season to bring home a championship? Or should you go young and prepare for the future? There’s so much to think about before September. The “offseason edition” of this series is an early look at whose stock is up and whose stock is down as we head into free agency and draft season. We will break down each NFL team one by one. Today is all about the Arizona Cardinals.

Zach Ertz to the Cardinals: Rapid Reaction

Many of us were expecting the Eagles to trade one of their tight ends, and many thought Ertz would be the one to go. Well, it finally happened and he landed in a very ideal spot. In this piece, I will talk about what the Cardinals’ offense has looked like so far through the season. Then I will highlight what to expect from Ertz and how he will affect the other Cardinals’ pieces. I will also discuss the Eagles and how they will differ from the loss of Ertz.

FFPC Dynasty & Redraft Series: Week 3

Whew. This past week was much better than the first. Most of my teams that started off with a loss got back to even and a number of solid teams moved to 2-0. Sadly there are more 0-2 teams in my portfolio than I would like. We know a lot more about the landscape out there today than we did two weeks ago, but we still need more time for the process of variance to give us a clearer picture. I have made some crucial start/sit mistakes but am hoping to get ahead of the curve this week and I hope you do, too.

Taxi Squad Spring Cleaning Part 2

In this series of articles, I’m taking a look at rookies from the 2019 class that can be removed from your taxi squads to make room for 2020 rookies. In part one found here, I examined four players that are potential dynasty cuts. These are players that all have little to no dynasty value, but those dynasty owners selected in at least some 2019 rookie drafts. I’ll reference my 2019 rookie rankings from late May to give an idea of where I valued these players. My rankings are for a 1QB, PPR format. Here come four more players that are subject to spring cleaning.
