Brandon Aiyuk: 2021 Dynasty Profile

Brandon Aiyuk began his collegiate football career at Sierra College, a community college in California. After a strong sophomore season, Aiyuk transferred to Arizona State. As a junior, Aiyuk underwhelmed alongside future first-round pick N’Keal Harry. But he blew up as a senior, recording a 40.6% dominator rating (81st percentile) with 65 receptions for 1,192 yards and eight TDs. Aiyuk was also incredibly dynamic at Arizona State, contributing on special teams as both a kick and punt returner.

Looking Ahead to Week 15

In this weekly article, I’m going to look ahead to the following week. I’ll point out a few players below 40% owned on ESPN who have strong matchups next week that you can pick up ahead of time to beat the waiver run. With added IR spots in most leagues, you can also shift injured players there, opening up a roster spot for these options. At this point, we’re playing a weekly game. Don’t drop anyone you need to use this week in the playoffs to prepare for a possible Week 15 matchup. If you don’t win this week, you won’t have a next week. But, if you have a first-round bye, this column is essential for you. Start preparing for Week 15 now, while your league mates focus on the first round of the playoffs.

Looking Ahead to Week 13

In this weekly article, I’m going to look ahead to the following week. I’ll point out a few players below 40% owned on ESPN who have strong matchups next week that you can pick up ahead of time to beat the waiver run. I’ll also try and get ahead of breakouts that could happen in the current week, as predicting breakouts is the best way to save your FAAB budget. Pittman is my only must-add for the week. He only had three catches for 66 yards and a touchdown in Week 11, but he’s seen heavy action since he returned in Week 8. I believe that Pittman has clearly passed T.Y. Hilton as the Colts’ top receiver, and he has excellent matchups in Week 13 against the Texans and Week 14 against the Raiders. Add Pittman to your team now and ride him to and through your playoffs.

Start/Sit Week 12

Last week, I told you to start the wrong Saints’ QB. I won’t be making that mistake twice. In his first start, Taysom Hill proved he’s at least somewhat competent as a passer. He completed 18 of 23 passes for 233 yards, and at least 1 of those incompletions was a drop. With his high rushing floor, Hill should be startable in most matchups until Drew Brees returns.

Week 12 Streamers

In this streaming article, I will provide you the best weekly options to stream quarterback, tight end, and D/ST. In each section, I’ll break down two streamers in detail, both of which will be under 50% owned, according to ESPN’s ownership percentage at the time of writing. Playing the matchups is a crucial feature of redraft fantasy football, and especially in a crazy 2020 season, active fantasy owners will have a massive advantage.

Since most of these additions will occur on the weekend, I’ll exclude any players from the Thursday night game, as you won’t be able to add them to your rosters. This season more than any other, it’s essential to remain active and stay ahead of your league mates.

Sleeper Series Jamison Crowder

Sleeper Series: Jamison Crowder

After writing my redraft team breakdown series, I decided to start a new series as we approach the 2020 fantasy season. Every week, or probably more often than that, I’m going to bring you one fantasy sleeper representing a massive value in 2020 redraft leagues. All the links to previous articles are at the bottom of the article. In the first article, I detailed my methodology behind this series, so go back and read that piece if you haven’t yet! Now, I want to take a look at Jamison Crowder. My friend @DocFFN recently wrote a free dynasty profile on Crowder, but I wanted to look at Crowder’s redraft prospects. I also wanted to take more of a long-form approach, as the dynasty free profiles are quick-hitters. Anyway, Crowder might play for the hapless Jets, but I think he deserves some attention as a sleeper for 2020 PPR redraft leagues. Let’s get into why.

A Look Back: Tight End Targets

To continue my “A Look Back” series, I want to go back even further than the 2019 regular season and go to some of my pre-2019 Draft content. If you’re interested in my previous work in that series, the links are at the bottom of the article. In the summer of 2019, I did a two-part article, looking at tight end targets and avoids for 2019. Let’s start with how I did with the three players I picked as targets for the 2019 redraft season. The original article used a half-PPR format, so I’ll use half-PPR results for 2019 to evaluate myself. Evan Engram ADP: 61 overall, TE5 Result: TE18, TE7 in fantasy PPG in eight games played I already broke down Engram’s 2019 season in decent depth in my Dead to Me article about him. While I won’t rehash all of that, Engram had an interesting 2019 season. Through five weeks, he was the TE2, just behind Austin Hooper, and looked like a smashing value at his TE5 ADP. In those five weeks, he had 33 receptions on 48 targets for 373 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately for Engram, he missed Week 6 with an MCL injury. He did return for Weeks 7-9, but he wasn’t the same player. He totaled just 11 receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown in those three games. After Week 9, Engram missed the rest of the season with a foot injury, killing his fantasy owners. So, how did I do with Engram? In my original article, I stated that Engram would benefit
