Dynasty Risers and Fallers Week 3

Top 5 Dynasty Sleeper Buys

I’ll be honest, I’ve always been a HUGE Gardner Minshew fan. He came into the NFL severely underrated as a QB coming out of Mike Leach’s WSU offense where anyone could pass for 5,000 yards. However, Minshew was given his chance to play for the Jaguars, and he played well!  replaced him with generational talent Trevor Lawrence, which is understandable, but how this guy hasn’t been given another shot by a different team after what he showed is beyond me. Minshew had to step in for an injured Jalen Hurts for a couple of spot starts last year, and again, looked impressive.  Everything I’m hearing draft buzz-wise is that Indy may pass on a first-round QB and hand the reigns over to Minshew, making the mustachioed miracle an interesting buy low.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Eno Benjamin

This edition of Dynasty Sleeper of the Week features a player who many have quickly forgotten about and tossed aside in favor of another waiver addition, but could we all have jumped ship just a bit too soon?

Time to discuss why Eno Benjamin still holds value and is featured as the dynasty sleeper of the week!

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Sammis Reyes

I hope my dynasty sleepers haven’t disappointed anyone too much but I’m fairly certain I’ve got one here just about everyone can appreciate, even if it’s just a cool story.  This edition of “Dynasty Sleeper of The Week” features a player who came all the over to the United States from Chile for a chance to play in the National Football League.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Kylen Granson

The waiver wire is growing thinner and thinner week by week so this edition of Dynasty Sleeper of the Week features a tight end who is likely rostered in most deep dynasty leagues.

While Kylen Granson may be rostered, many dynasty managers become impatient due to a lack of any kind of production which could cause them to prematurely part ways. Young tight ends can take years to break out so let’s dive in and see if I can convince you to stash him and throw away the key.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Mekhi Sargent

I’ve got another deep sleeper for you, one who may still even be on waivers. However, even he is not, he should be easily acquirable at his current value. The dynasty community is always in search of affordable running backs. This one comes at little to no cost and finds himself in an intriguing situation.

Jalen Richard OUT Indefinitely: It’s Time to Stop Sleeping on Kenyan Drake

Earlier this week, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reported that Las Vegas Raiders’ running back Jalen Richard sustained a foot injury after returning from the COVID-19 list and will be out indefinitely. The report had zero mention of what injury Richard suffered but to be immediately labeled as “out indefinitely” I have to assume it was fairly severe. Plus, foot injuries for skill position players are never a good thing as we have seen in the recent Carson Wentz saga and with Joe Mixon in season’s past.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: David Moore

Most leagues are coming down to this week, and to those that have made the championship this year, I wish you all the best. For those that are continuing the roster-building grind, I am back again with another dynasty sleeper for you. Week 15 is in the books, and this week’s sleeper was a guy I have had an eye on for a while. He is currently owned in 33% of leagues according to MyFantasyLeagues. I had written a short blurb on this guy in the offseason when I looked at RFAs to target in the offseason. I am going back to the well with David Moore, wide receiver of the Seattle Seahawks.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Donald Parham

Week 14 has come to a close, and hopefully, everyone is still chugging along in the playoffs. Whether or not you are, you can keep an eye on this week’s sleeper of the week as you get primed for years to come. This week’s sleeper is definitely in the “stash and wait” category, as his 2020 usage isn’t going to wow anyone. He is paired with a good young quarterback in Justin Herbert. If you haven’t guessed it yet, our sleeper is Donald Parham, the young 6’8 athletic tight end that set the XFL on fire. Let’s take a look at Parham’s road to fantasy relevance.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Devontae Booker

Welcome back to another dynasty sleeper segment. Receivers have been a hot target throughout this series due to the sheer volume at the position. This week I will be looking at the scarce position of running back and a veteran, by position standards, Devontae Booker. Booker is currently a backup in the Las Vegas Raiders backfield coming off a nice game in Week 9. As always, this is not necessarily a pickup column but rather we will look at players off the beaten path and that you can keep an eye on or add to the end of your bench.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Isaiah Ford

Last week we took a look at Jordan Akins who was headed to a breakout week before suffering a concussion against the Vikings. He should still be widely available if you need a tight end. This week we will be diving into a wide receiver on a team with a ton of potential. This week’s dynasty sleeper is Isaiah Ford. The 7th round pick in 2017 has carved out a nice little role in the Miami Dolphins offense at the beginning of the 2020 season. According to MyFantasyLeague, he is only owned in 20% of leagues, so it shouldn’t be hard to attain Isaiah Ford at his current price.

Dynasty Sleeper of the Week: Javon Wims

With week one in the books, I am back to give you another player to keep in mind for your dynasty roster. This is not a waiver column. Each week I will try and bring you names off the beaten track that you can put on the end of your bench or just keep an eye on. Last week’s choice was Jakobi Meyers and while he went catch-less last week. The Patriots offense will continue to grow. Keep him on the watch list. This week I bring you another wide receiver no one is talking about and that is Javon Wims.

Dynasty Outlook: NFC North Edition

Welcome to the Dynasty Outlook series where I discuss a buy low, sell high and deep sleeper for each NFL team. Today we will start off with the NFC North. There are plenty of fantasy-relevant players in this division. Let’s take a deeper dive into the values on these fantasy players![exceltable id=’47826′]Chicago BearsBuy Low: Mitch TrubiskyIn the month of June, Trubisky had an ADP of 148.7 and is the 18th quarterback taken off the board, while he finished last year as QB14. He threw for 3,223 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions while rushing for 421 yards with 3 touchdowns in 14 games. He was in his first year under Head Coach, Matt Nagy, and I look to see him have a breakout third season. The current QB14 taken in startup drafts is Jameis Winston with an ADP of 133.7, which is about a round before Trubisky. Of the top 20 quarterbacks in 2018, only two played in 13 games (Baker, QB17 and Mitch, QB14), one played in 14 games (Cam, QB10) and the other 17 played in all 15 fantasy football season games. If Mitch doesn’t miss those two games and keeps his 19.4 PPG, he would have finished inside the top 10 for fantasy quarterbacks last season.

Dynasty Sleeper – Chris Warren III

Dynasty Sleeper – Chris Warren III We are currently in the quietest period of the dynasty fantasy football season. 2019 rookie drafts have not begun to take place, and start-up drafts are another month or so out. But that doesn’t mean you should be resting on your laurels. If you want to build a championship
