Devy Players of the Week

The younger brother of Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is making a name for himself in 2021. Taulia committed to Alabama out of High School and stayed for a year, but he transferred to Maryland before the 2020 season after receiving minimal playing time for the Crimson Tide. In Taulia’s first year as a starter, he was average at best, completing 61.5% of his passes for 1,011 yards,  seven touchdowns, and seven interceptions in the four games. Fast forward to today, and Tagovailoa is having a great season through four games. After a strong game against Kent State, in which he passed for 384 yards and three TDs, Taulia leads the Big Ten in completions with 111, completion % with 75.5%, passing yards with 1340, Passing Touchdowns with 10, and Passer Rating with 173.2. On top of all of that, he has just one interception, a huge difference in his seven in four games last year.

Inbound Freshmen Quarterback: Top Five

Welcome to the Thunderdome my #DFFArmy, the name’s Heady and college football signing day is FINALLY complete. Now that all of those four and five-star players have delivered their letter of intent to the college of their choice, it is time to dive into where the gunslingers of this class rank with regards to Devy leagues. Because most leagues only have three to five open roster spots, soon to be freshman quarterbacks will need to have that “it” factor to make them worthy. Lucky for you, I went out and spent the time watching their film to rank the five quarterbacks you should consider in this new 2024 class.

Draft Stock Watch: Week 16

The strangest college football season in history is coming to a close as most teams’ seasons have now ended. Championship week crowned nine league champions, and four programs—Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Notre Dame—earned selections to the 2020 college football playoff. San Jose State and Cincinnati each followed through and completed their dream seasons, defeating Boise State and Tulsa in the Mountain West and American Athletic Conference championships respectively. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see Coastal Carolina and Louisiana cap off what has been a phenomenal Sun Belt season, after their title game was canceled, and they were declared co-champions. Let’s unpack the player draft stock movement from the past week of action!

I think we can definitively say that SEC defense is a thing of the past now after watching all of these high scoring affairs. The BIG10 conference will finally be joining the season looking ahead in Week Eight, but for now, we will examine this past weekend’s player performances and draft stocks.

Compared to the previous two weeks, Week Six of the college football season played out relatively similar to what fans expected. There were many unexpected shootouts in the SEC this week, which is unique. However, outside of #21 Texas A&M taking down #4 Florida and an unranked Mizzou team upsetting #17 LSU, the week seemed status quo. We again will discuss some of this past weekend’s player performances and draft stock movement!

Week five of the college football season is now in the books, and although it seems cliché to say this, the weekend brought us even more surprises than previous weeks. Draft Stock Watch: Week 1

As this college football season shapes up to be the most unpredictable in memory, it will be as important as ever for devy owners to keep tabs on what is happening. The COVID-19 pandemic has already caused major headaches for the college football landscape, as two Power 5 conferences have already postponed their seasons (BIG10 and PAC12).  Sprinkled in are many high profile opt-outs who have chosen to forego their 2020 season and prepare for the NFL draft.

Buy Low Devy Quarterbacks

The science of drafting QBs by NFL teams is suspect at best, thus identifying successful QB prospects has even more difficulties. Even the art of selecting and developing quarterback prospects are questionable to the naked eye. Here we will try to identify quarterback prospects who have gigantic potential returns that are still readily available, across devy fantasy leagues.

Devy Buy Low Players

Over the last few years, devy leagues have increased in popularity. I’ve found that over half of the leagues I’m in are devy leagues. They add a wrinkle to typical dynasty leagues, give you that much more ammo to trade and even more players to study up on during the offseason. One thing I have
