Last Week in Fantasy: Week 4

Week 4 had its moments, but overall it was kind of blah. Drake Maye showed signs of life, Puka Nacua made his triumphant return, CeeDee Lamb reminded everyone who the “real” alpha is in Dallas, Bryce Young’s breakout season rolled on, and Brian Robinson Jr. (NOT Bijan, although he had himself a day) stole the show on Monday night with three touchdowns.

As always, I dug through the numbers and the news from all 32 teams, so you don’t have to. Every team gets a player worth talking about and a verdict: Buy, Sell, or Stash. Let’s make your lineup and trade decisions easier.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Trey “TE1” McBride has double-digit targets and seven or more receptions in every game this season. But with only two touchdowns, it’s worth kicking the tires to see if someone is willing to part ways with him.

McBride is a Buy High for contenders or teams looking to make a push.

ATLANTA FALCONS

The Robinson duo of Bijan and Brian Jr. has scored eight touchdowns over the last two weeks, including three from Brian in Monday night’s 45-24 rout of the Saints. Bijan is still the lead dog, but Brian has double-digit touches and 50 or more rushing yards in each of his last three games.

Brian Robinson Jr. is a Buy if you need production while your team deals with injuries.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ new-look offense have been great, but Lamar is now nursing an ankle injury, missed Wednesday’s practice, and could miss time. With only one rushing touchdown on the season, we haven’t seen the blow-up game we’re accustomed to from Lamar.

With Lamar potentially set to miss games, Lamar is a Sell High!

BUFFALO BILLS

D.J. Moore hasn’t done much since his 21-point Week 1 performance. Over his last three games, he’s scored a combined 15.5 points, and now he’s banged up again. I believe in the Bills’ offense, and Moore’s injury isn’t considered long-term. I’d reach out to the Moore manager and see if he’s available.

D.J. Moore is a Buy Low.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Bryce Young’s breakout season is here, and it’s for real. The fantasy QB3 is on a tear, leading the league in passing yards (1,268) and sitting tied for first in passing touchdowns with nine. The Panthers are on bye this week, so he can’t add to his stats, but Bryce has unlocked this offense.

Bryce Young is a Buy High league winner.

CHICAGO BEARS

Kyle Monangai had a career day, but D’Andre Swift still had 17 touches of his own. Until Caleb Williams returns and the QB play improves, Chicago will lean heavily on the run. Over the last two weeks, Monangai and Swift have NINETY combined touches!

I’m Buying both, and if one gets hurt, you have a league winner on your hands.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Tee Higgins continues to prove me wrong this year, posting 90 or more receiving yards for the third game in a row. Joe Burrow and the Bengals average 30-plus pass attempts a game; the running game is still a work in progress, and with Ja’Marr Chase in the concussion protocol, Higgins’ target share could climb even higher.

Even though he’s banged up, Tee Higgins is a Buy.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Deshaun Watson has turned the Browns into a fantasy surprise this year, and he currently sits as the QB12. The biggest surprise so far is his rushing production: 20 or more rushing yards per game. A big game is on the horizon for Watson and the Browns.

Watson is an upside Buy.

DALLAS COWBOYS

CeeDee Lamb stole the show on Sunday, but it was Dak Prescott who led the charge. Dak has thrown for 250 or more yards in three straight games, the Cowboys have scored 30-plus points in each of them, and he’s protecting the ball with just one turnover against eight touchdowns. Until the Dallas defense improves, the Cowboys will be in shootouts more often than not.

Dak Prescott is a Buy High for any contenders out there.

DENVER BRONCOS

The Broncos have been unlucky with their early schedule; it doesn’t get any easier, and everyone’s favorite bounce-back candidate, Jaylen Waddle, has suffered the most. With only two games of 35 or more receiving yards and one touchdown, it’s hard to trust the Denver offense moving forward.

Waddle is a Sell due to the schedule and QB play.

Dynasty Wide Receivers to Buy and Sell

Welcome back for Part 3 of my buy and sell series. If you’ve missed either of the first two editions, you can check out my tight end article here and my running back article here. In today’s article, I’ll look at which wide receivers you should target or sell in dynasty before the season, based on where your team currently stands. Let’s dive right in. 

Step 1: Figure out what your team is. (Based on 12-team leagues)

Top tier: projected top 4 team in your league, legit contender
Middle tier: projected to finish between spots 5-8 in your league
Bottom tier: projected to finish in the bottom 4 of your league
Top Tier

If you are a top-tier team, hopefully you have at least one top-7 wide receiver (Chase, Smith-Njigba, Nacua, St.Brown, Nabers, Jefferson, and Lamb). If you don’t, I would be trading for one of the following guys:

A.J. Brown – Mid-1st Round
Jaylen Waddle – Late-1st Round
Tee Higgins – Late-1st Round
Terry McLaurin – Early-2nd Round
D.J. Moore – Early-2nd Round
Davante Adams – Mid-2nd Round
Mike Evans – Late-2nd Round

They all have top-20 scoring potential, but are valued outside the top 18 because of their age. I would move one of the following players to acquire a name from the list above: Jordyn Tyson, Makai Lemon, Marvin Harrison Jr., KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, De’Zhaun Stribling, Omar Cooper Jr., Ja’Kobi Lane, and Jayden Higgins.

Dynasty Price Check: George Pickens

George Pickens, the former second-round pick (52nd overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft from the University of Georgia, began his first three professional seasons with a mix of big plays and inconsistencies, marked by on-field drama with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Then the Steelers decided they’d had enough of Pickens last offseason and traded him to the Dallas Cowboys, where he blossomed into a superstar. Now in 2026, Pickens looks to deliver yet another potential league-winning season.

As we fast-forward to training camp, the Cowboys enter the upcoming season with high internal expectations and possible Super Bowl dreams in LA. Pickens now enters his second season in Dallas, paired with fellow superstar CeeDee Lamb. There’s no reason to believe that Pickens, aside from an unforeseen injury or off-the-field drama, shouldn’t be productive again in 2026. His involvement in the Cowboys offense gives him top-10 upside every week in a pass-heavy scheme. All these factors going into the new season still have Pickens’ Dynasty Fantasy Football value strong. With the season quickly upon us as training camp has begun and the preseason a matter of days away, the question is, should you be buying, selling, or holding Pickens? Let’s dive in.

Career in Review

Up until 2025, Pickens’ career was marred by inconsistencies and disappointments. During his first three seasons with the Steelers, he had only one season with 1,000 yards receiving, but he also dealt with inconsistent quarterback play. 2023 was his best season with the Steelers as he produced 63 receptions on 106 targets, posting 1,140 receiving yards and five touchdowns, all while finishing as the WR30 (Full-PPR).

In a new environment in 2025, Pickens had his coming-out party, proving to be one of the NFL’s elite wide receivers and showing he can be a true WR1. He produced career highs with 93 receptions on 137 targets, 1,429 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns. He gave the Cowboys the league’s most elite 1-2 punch at WR in 2025. And these statistics led to him finishing as the WR5 (Full-PPR) in Dynasty Fantasy Football. What was most impressive about Pickens’ season was that he had five games of 25 or more fantasy points (Full-PPR) in 2025, with his best game coming Week 4 against the Packers. He finished as the WR2 overall that week with 33.40 (Full-PPR) fantasy points, posting eight receptions on 11 targets for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Pickens is a player with so much talent, and this past season has shown he was able to harness it all. If he can do this for one more season, a very large payday will be coming from someone, whether that’s in Dallas or not.

One Fantasy Question For EVERY NFL Team: Dallas Cowboys Edition

As the offseason progresses and news from OTAs enters the echo chamber that is the fantasy community on Twitter (or X, if you’re weird and literal) not all news is good news, unless you’re a Parker Washington stan and more importantly, not all news is relevant for fantasy, and should always be taken with a grain of salt.

We must remember, these guys are running around without pads on, playing seven on seven. We’re all excited for news updates and with the latest trades of A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots and Myles Garrett going to the Los Angeles Rams (my favorite team to win the Super Bowl, fyi) it’s hard not to get excited about any and all NFL news, especially for us fantasy guys.

When to Target Wide Receivers in Redraft Leagues

Continuing my Redraft series, I’m now going to look at the average draft position (ADP) for wide receivers in 2025. My goal for this is to identify the ideal ADP windows for targeting the RB position versus other positions.

I looked at the top 96 players in 2025, and 43 wide receivers were taken in that range. I looked to see how the player did based on their draft position. I am using sleepers’ ADP (average draft positions).

The Jefferson Tax Act: Dynasty Fantasy Football’s Most Expensive WR2

Let’s just say it out loud: Justin Jefferson is being drafted like it’s still 2022. But it’s not 2022 anymore. And the numbers don’t care about reputation. I’m not saying Jefferson is bad. I’m not saying he suddenly forgot how to run routes. I am saying that fantasy managers are paying for a version of Jefferson that no longer exists — and may not be coming back, despite where he lands in NFL fantasy rankings. This is not my Packers’ bias coming into play – although I do enjoy seeing him fail. What this actually is is a classic case of name value outrunning production.

Dynasty Football Factory League of Record: Startup Draft – Round 1

The DFF Team volleys content ideas regularly in search of compelling articles at pertinent times. And though we’ve found our focus primarily on the 2025 NFL Rookie Prospects as of late, I asked the squad to pull together a mock start-up for the first five rounds. As the ideas started to percolate, @FFChalmers threw out the notion to not only cover the genesis of a startup draft, as we have done so many times in the past, but this time to make it an actual league.
