Return of the Redraft Rankings: Meet the Team

Hey #DFFArmy, it’s your Director of Information Systems, @DFF_JoeMem, back again with a rankings update! As we enter into August, we are bringing back Redraft into focus. You’ll find those rankings HERE. Look closely and you’ll see that we were able to add Sleeper’s Redraft PPR ADP to our ranking page! For now, it’s only alongside our Redraft rankings, and we believe this will add a lot of value to the #DFFArmy on the road to some Championships. So we have Sleeper ADP, truly the voice of the people, but what about the rankers themselves? Who are the people you’ll be trusting your drafts with? Let’s find out!

Meet The Rankers

Paul, @FantasyFreezer – I played redraft for the first time in 2013. As an Eagles fan, I was excited to select LeSean McCoy with my very first pick. (My team didn’t do very well, but McCoy did finish as the RB3.) Every season since, I have picked up bits and pieces of strategy. And every season, I make my own rankings before my drafts. Now, as DFF’s Lead Redraft Analyst, I’ve been given the opportunity to create rankings specifically for our site!

Joe, @DFF_JoeMem – You’ve seen me on Superflex/Tight End (SFTEP) Premium Dynasty Rankings, SFTEP Rookie Rankings, 1QB Dynasty Rankings, and 1QB Rookie Rankings. Now, you’ll see me shift to Redraft Rankings. But why should you trust some dynasty-focused analyst with your redraft rankings? Because Redraft is where it all started for me. My passion for fantasy football stemmed from playing in redraft leagues as a co-owner with my dad when I was just a kid. Then I wanted my own team so I joined random leagues with strangers on ESPN when I was 11. I’ve honed my redraft skills in so many leagues including being commissioner of a few of my own. My longest-running is my home league that is still competitive as ever as we go into year 12. Unfortunately, I’ve lost in the championship game 5 times in 11 years…so maybe don’t trust me with start/sit decisions in week 16 (or now 17 with the schedule shift), but you should know that you can trust me with your draft and waiver wire decisions. Finally, even though I’ve shifted my attention to Dynasty leagues more recently, there’s nothing more important than finding undervalued players that will help your team go for the championship. Uncovering those gems and finding the right players to win this year is the same goal in both dynasty and redraft.
