Opportunity Knocks: NFL Shares to Watch – Week 3

Opportunity is king in fantasy football. Tracking player volume and snaps each season helps managers get ahead of coaching trends while making advanced moves on the trade market and waiver wires. In this recurring weekly series, we will look at all 32 teams’ most notable market shares (percentage of team output) in targets, opportunities, and rushing/receiving production. With Week 2 in the rearview, let’s dive into some exciting usage data around the NFL as we prepare for the upcoming slate of games.

Arizona Cardinals

• James Conner exited the game early with a moderate ankle sprain that could keep him sidelined for Week 3.
• Darrell Williams stepped up in Conner’s stead, matching Eno Benjamin’s rushing opportunities with eight carries apiece.
• Williams managed 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
• Benjamin finished with 31 rushing yards, adding 20 more through the air on three catches.
• Williams/Benjamin splits in Week 2: Snaps = 56%/48%, RSH ATT = 47%/35%, Route Participation =48%/41%.
• Zach Ertz and Marquise Brown tied for the Cardinals lead with 11 targets (22.44%).
• Ertz led the team in receiving, hauling in eight passes for 75 yards. The veteran tight end led the team in route participation, running a route on 48 of Murray’s 52 dropbacks.
• A.J. Green saw seven targets (14.28%), catching three for 16 yards.
• Greg Dortch received Kyler Murray’s only touchdown pass of the day. Dortch caught all four of his targets for 55 yards and has looked impressive in the absence of teammates Rondale Moore and DeAndre Hopkins.

Atlanta Falcons

• Drake London led every receiver in the NFL in Week 2 with a target share of 46.51%.
• London caught eight of 12 targets for 86 yards and his first touchdown as a pro.
• Kyle Pitts continues to be ignored as a weapon in the passing attack, recording two catches for 19 yards on three targets (11.53%).
• Pitts played 20 snaps out wide, 23 snaps from the slot, and 14 snaps inline as a traditional tight end.
• No other member of the Falcons offense has a target share higher than 10.0% after two games of the 2022 season.
• Cordarrelle Patterson and Tyler Allgeier split running back carries down the middle. Both Falcons’ running backs earned ten carries, with Patterson accumulating 41 yards and the rookie gaining 30 yards.
• Marcus Mariota totaled six of the Falcons’ 27 rushing attempts. Mariota managed 16 yards with his attempts

Baltimore Ravens

• Lamar Jackson served as the team’s leading rusher with an MVP-caliber performance despite losing to the Dolphins in Week 2.
• Jackson recorded nine of the Ravens’ 16 rushing attempts for 119 yards and the team’s only rushing touchdown. Jackson now holds the NFL record for most 100-yard rushing games for a quarterback.
• Kenyan Drake, Mike Davis, Justice Hill, and Pat Ricard formed a committee in the backfield, combining for a laughable 33 combined yards on 15 attempts.
• Mark Andrews is the WR1 and TE1 for the Ravens. Andrews led all offensive players with an 83.0% snap participation and a team-high 11 targets. (37.9%)
• Andrews led the Ravens’ offense with nine receptions. He added one carry for three yards.
• Bateman averaged 4.91 Yards Per Route (YPRR) in Week 2 against the Dolphins. Bateman’s YPRR numbers are inflated due to a limited snap share of 61.0%.
• The second-year wideout earned seven targets (24.1%) while leading the receiving corps in all categories (4 REC/108 YDS/1 TD).
• Bateman is currently averaging a target on 26.6% of his routes through two games.
• No other wide receiver on the Ravens offense recorded more than two targets in Week 2.
• Rookie tight end Isaiah Likely served as the team’s WR3, catching four of five targets for 43 yards.

Buffalo Bills

• Josh Allen and his band of Bills ransacked the Titans in a 41-7 blowout. Allen completed 26/38 pass attempts for 317 yards and four touchdowns but had just one rushing attempt, netting 10 yards.
• Stefon Diggs made up 46.68% of the team’s total passing production, catching 12/14 targets (35.0%) for 148 yards and three touchdowns.
• Gabriel Davis was ruled out of the contest with an ankle injury.
• Jameson Crowder and Isaiah McKenzie continue to share snaps out of the slot.
• Crowder and McKenzie played 100.0% of their offensive snaps from the slot in Week 2.
• Dawson Knox played 69.0% (nice) of the offensive snaps, earning five targets for a 12.5% team share.
• Jake Kumerow led the Bills in snap percentage, playing 100.0% of the team’s snaps in the fourth quarter due to the massive margin of victory. 
• James Cook led the Bills’ backfield in touches with 11 rush attempts for 53 yards. Cook benefited from increased work in a runaway victory but played 26.0% of the offensive snaps.
• The rookie second-rounder missed his only target.
• Devin Singletary remains the lead back, recording a 54.0% snap share and four targets (10.0%).
• Zack Moss received a diminished role after a surprising opportunity in Week 1. Moss played just 13 snaps (19.0%). He rushed for 17 yards on three carries.

Carolina Panthers

• Baker Mayfield amassed a lowly total of 145 passing yards with one touchdown in Week 2.
• Christian McCaffrey recorded 15 of the team’s 23 rushing attempts (88.2%). McCaffrey accounted for 102 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards with five targets (17.2%) and four receptions.
• D.J. Moore and Robbie Anderson dominated the Panther’s snap percentages again (97.0%/93.0%) after playing 100.0% of the snaps in Week 1.
• Moore tied relative unknown receiver Shi Smith for the team lead in targets with six (20.7%).
• Smith played 71.0% of the Panthers’ snaps, finishing with one catch for two yards.
• Four separate tight ends recorded snaps for the Panthers in Week 2: Ian Thomas (43), Giovanni Ricci (18), Tommy Tremble (10), and Stephen Sullivan (4).
• Thomas led the crew with three targets (10.3%).

Chicago Bears

• Justin Fields attempted and completed fewer passes in Week 2 than during a monsoon game in Week 1.
• Fields went 7/11 for 70 yards with one interception.
• Cole Kmet played 85.0% of the offensive snaps, recording just one target. Kmet has yet to record a reception this season.
• David Montgomery had 15 rushing attempts for 122 yards on 80.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Khalil Herbert played the remaining 20.0% of backfield snaps, tallying four carries for 38 yards.
• Equanimeous St.Brown needed a menial four targets to finish with a 36.4% target share.

Cincinnati Bengals

• The Bengals supposed improvements on the offensive line have done nothing to deter the pressure of opposing pass rushers. Through two games of the 2022 season, Joe Burrow ranks first in sacks, quarterback pressures, and quarterback hits.
• Burrow completed 24/36 pass attempts for 199 yards and one touchdown.
• Third-year stud receiver Tee Higgins was the recipient of said touchdown. Higgins led the Bengals with ten targets (27.8%), marking the tenth consecutive game in which he has out-targeted Ja’Marr Chase in shared games.
• Chase was directly behind Higgins with nine targets (25.0%). Chase played 67 snaps to Higgins’ 62.
• The Bengals operated in three-receiver sets for much of the contest, allowing Tyler Boyd to accumulate an 81.0% snap share. However, Boyd managed only two targets (5.6%).
• Hayden Hurst allotted seven targets (19.4%) with snap participation of 81.0%.
• Joe Mixon had 78.0% of the team’s offensive snaps and 95.0% of the rushing work.

Cleveland Browns

• Nick Chubb swapped positions with Kareem Hunt as the team’s highest-scoring player in Week 2. Chubb took 17 of the Browns’ 37 rush attempts for 87 yards and three touchdowns.
• Hunt received a sizable rushing share with 13 carries, managing 58 yards. Hunt was surprisingly out-targeted by Chubb (2 TGT/3 TGT), recording two catches for 16 yards to Chubb’s three for 26.
• Amari Cooper proved his worth as the Browns’ number one receiving option, earning ten targets (37.0%) for a team-leading 81.0% snap share.
• Donovon Peoples-Jones disappeared from the stat sheet in Week 2 after an 11-target performance in Week 1. He participated in 78.0% of the Browns’ offensive snaps but earned just one target (3.7%) with no catches.
• Rookie wide receiver David Bell played 30.0% of the offensive snaps, tallying one catch for six yards on his only target.
• David Njoku led all Brown’s players with 63 offensive snaps (94.0%). Njoku earned five targets (18.5%).
• Second-year tight end Harrison Bryant was on the field for 46.0% of the Browns’ offensive plays, recording three catches on four targets (14.8%) for 46 yards. Bryant was second on the team in receiving yards in Week 2.

Dallas Cowboys

• Cooper Rush made his first start of the season for the Cowboys, filling in for an injured Dak Prescott. The backup quarterback performed admirably, completing 19/31 passes for 235 yards with one touchdown and a victory over the Bengals.
• Ezekiel Elliot handled most of the rushing work, attempting 15 carries for 53 yards on 67.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Tony Pollard played 39.0% of the team’s snaps, carrying the ball nine times for 43 yards and a touchdown. Pollard produced four receptions for 55 yards on seven targets (22.6%).
• Noah Brown led the Cowboys in receiving yards (91), catching all five of his targets for a team share of (16.1%). Brown played 85.0% of the offensive snaps but could see his role diminished with the return of Michael Gallup.
• CeeDee Lamb played 95.0% of the offensive snaps, leading the team with 11 targets (35.5%) and seven receptions for 75 yards.
• Dalton Schultz exited the game early with a knee injury and could be sidelined for several games.

Denver Broncos

• Russell Wilson completed fewer than 50.0% of his passes (14/31) for 219 yards. Wilson matched his only passing touchdown with an interception.
• Courtland Sutton led the team with 11 targets (35.5%), playing 66 snaps (92.0%) after Jerry Jeudy was forced to leave the game with a rib injury.
• Javonte Williams separated himself from Melvin Gordon in Week 2 with 47 snaps to Gordon’s 23.
• However, the rushing volume remains closer than managers would like to see, with Williams earning 60.0% of the team’s rushing attempts and Gordon taking up the remaining 40.0%.
• The second-year stud may be stuck sharing rushing work but has far exceeded his veteran counterpart’s target share in both Week 1 and Week 2.
• Williams earned a 12.9% target share as opposed to Gordon’s 3.2%.
• The Broncos have used tight end Albert Okweugbunan sparingly throughout the first two weeks of 2022. Albert O saw 53.0% of the offensive snaps, tying Eric Saubert with two targets (6.5%).

Detroit Lions

• Amon-Ra St.Brown cemented himself as one of the league’s top wide receivers in Week 2. Brown recorded his eighth consecutive game with at least eight catches, joining Michael Thomas and Antonio Brown as the only other receivers to accomplish that feat.
• St.Brown led the Lions in rushing (2 RSH/68 YDS) and receiving (9 REC/116 YDS). He added two touchdown receptions for good measure.
• The second-year star led all members of the offense in snap percentage (85.0%) and targets (12 TGT/35.3%).
• An ankle injury kept D’Andre Swift out of most Lions practices leading up to Week 2 but did little to stymie his production.
• Swift recorded 51.0% of the team’s snaps, earning a 14.7% target share on five targets with 87 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown.
• Jamaal Williams managed most of the rushing work for his banged-up teammate, taking 12 carries for 53 yards.
• T.J. Hockenson played 89.0% of the team’s offensive snaps, earning a respectable 20.6% target share on seven targets. Unfortunately, Hockenson recorded only three catches for 26 yards despite an increase in opportunity.

Green Bay Packers

• Aaron Rodgers needed just 19 completions and 234 yards to continue his majority ownership of the Bears franchise.
• Aaron Jones scored two of the team’s three touchdowns; one rushing, one receiving.
• Jones had 15 of the Packers’ 38 rushing attempts (45.5% rushing share) for 132 yards.
• A.J. Dillon recorded one fewer snap than Jones (39/40) but had a higher rush percentage than his veteran teammate with 18 carries (54.5% rushing share).
• Sammy Watkins led the Packers with four targets (16.0%) while playing 65.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Six members of the Packers offense accumulated three targets (12.0%), tied for second behind Watkins: Aaron Jones, A.J. Dillon, Randall Cobb, Romeo Doubs, Allen Lazard, and Christian Watson.
• The rookie duo of Doubs and Watson played on less than 40.0% of the offensive snaps in Week 2.
• Lazard led the team in snap percentage (81.0%) and route participation (71.0%).
• Veteran tight end Mercedes Lewis led the team with a 46.0% snap share. Tonyan was close behind at 40.0%.

Houston Texans

• Davis Mills completed half his pass attempts (19/38) with 177 yards and 0 touchdowns.
• Brandin Cooks continues his reign as the Texans’ primary receiving threat, recording ten targets (26.3%) on an 87.0% snap participation.
• Second-year wideout Nico Collins was one target behind Cooks with nine (23.7%) while playing 67.0% of the team’s snaps.
• Damien Pierce stepped into a massive rushing share after being held back in Week 1. Pierce recorded 100.0% of the Texans’ running back carries, taking 15 attempts for 69 yards. He played 62.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Rex Burkhead took a step back from his increased opportunity share in Week 1, garnering a 37.0% snap share and three targets (7.9%).
• Pharaoh Brown led the team in snap percentage (71.0%) and targets (5 TGT/13.2%).
• Brevin Jordan played 37.0% of the offensive snaps, finishing with four targets (10.5%).

Indianapolis Colts

• Michael Pittman was unable to suit up for the contests as he nurses a quad injury. The entire Colts passing attack suffered as a result.
• Ashton Dulin has earned 13 targets on just 39 routes this season. Dulin is clearly positioned to take over as the Colts’ number two option after leading the team in all participation and receiving categories during Week 2 (5 REC/7 TGT/79 YDS).
• Parris Campbell led the Colts with a participation rating of 86.0% but finished with two targets (6.7%)
• Jonathan Taylor secured nine of the Colts’ lowly 13 rushing attempts in a negative game script. Taylor made up 100.0% of the team’s net rushing yards (54 YDS).
• Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox finished with an identical snap share of 54.0%.

Jacksonville Jaguars

• Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars came away with a stunning victory over their division rivals. Lawrence completed 25/30 attempts for 235 yards and two touchdowns as the Jaguars defeated the Colts 24-0.
• James Robinson shouldered a workhorse role for the offense, taking 23 of the team’s 37 carries for 64 yards and his third touchdown. Robinson played 63.0% of the team’s snaps.
• Travis Etienne is well behind Robinson in the pecking order, playing 37.0% of the team’s snaps with nine carries (28.1% rush share). Etienne recorded three targets to Robinson’s two but appeared to be exclusively limited to third-down work and change-of-pace situations.
• Christian Kirk’s massive offseason contract looks like money well spent thus far. Kirk tied veteran Marvin Jones with a 90.0% snap share while recording 20.0% of the team’s targets.
• Kirk finished with a 100.0% catch rate, hauling in all six of his targets for 78 yards and two scores.
• Evan Engram led the Jaguars in target share (26.7%) while playing 69.0% (nice) of the offensive snaps.

Kansas City Chiefs

• Clyde Edwards-Helaire is enjoying a fine start to the 2022 season. The Chiefs’ third-year back rushed eight times for 74 yards while adding four receptions for 44 yards.
• Although his surface stats appear appealing, Edwards-Helaire has a mere 42.0% opportunity share and 36.0% route participation in the first two games.
• Jerrick McKinnon received more snaps than Edwards-Helaire for the second consecutive game. McKinnon recorded 47.0% of the offensive snaps; Edwards-Helaire recorded 44.0%.
• McKinnon received Patrick Mahomes’ first passing touchdown of the day.
• Isiah Pacheco was not afforded his garbage time role in a close back-and-forth contest between the Chargers. Pacheco saw 9.0% of the team’s offensive plays, recording two carries.
• Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving in Week 2. Kelce finished with five receptions for 51 yards on seven targets for a 20.0% share while playing 89.0% of the offensive snaps.
• JuJu Smith-Schuster relinquished his lead as the team’s number one receiving option, playing 74.0% of the snaps with only three targets (8.6%).
• Justin Watson recorded Mahomes’ second touchdown. Watson was on the field for 14 plays, catching both of his two targets for 50 yards.
• Marquez Valdes-Scantling matched Kelce’s team-high target share while leading the receiving corps in snap percentage (79.0%). Valdes-Scantling recorded two receptions for 13 yards despite an increased target share in Week 2.
• Mecole Hardman played 54.0% of the offensive snaps with an 11.4% target share.
• Second-round rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore saw just two snaps. He recorded no stats.

Las Vegas Raiders

• The Raiders offense had an interesting allocation of passing opportunities in Week 2 after peppering Davante Adams with 17 targets in Week 1.
• Hunter Renfrow led the team with ten targets (25.64%), securing seven receptions for 58 yards.
• Mack Hollins was the second-most targeted player earning eight targets (20.51%) with five receptions for 66 yards.
• Darren Waller tied Hollins’ opportunity share (8 TGT/20.51%), recording six receptions for 50 yards and one touchdown.
• Lastly, Davante Adams saw seven targets (17.94%), managing two receptions for 12 yards and a score.

Los Angeles Chargers

• Mike Williams thrived in the leading receiver role sans Keenan Allen against the Chiefs in Week 2. Williams led all chargers in receptions (8) and receiving yards (118) with one touchdown.
• Williams tied two other members of the Chargers offense with ten targets for a 20.8% team share.
• Austin Ekeler and Gerald Everett were the two other players to record ten targets.
• Ekeler caught nine targets for 55 yards, with Everett hauling in six for 71 yards.
• The Chargers struggled to move the ball on the ground in the loss. Ekeler recorded 14 rush attempts (63.6% rush share) for a measly 38 yards (2.8 YPC).
• Josh Palmer surprisingly led the team in snap percentage (91.0%), earning a respectable 16.7% target share with eight targets.
• Josh Jacobs and Brandon Bolden were the only running backs to record touches in Week 2.
• Jacobs rushed ten times for 57 yards, with Bolden tallying three carries for seven yards.
• Bolden was the recipient of another Derek Carr passing touchdown, securing his second of the season.

Los Angeles Rams

• Cam Akers increased his snaps and opportunities after a dreaded Week 1 showing. Akers touted 60.0% of the team’s rushing opportunities on 43.0% of the snaps.
• Darrell Henderson still saw more snaps than Akers, recording a 56.0% share while also out-producing his counterpart on fewer touches.
• Henderson finished with 47 yards on ten carries as opposed to Akers’ 44 yards on 15 carries. 
• Cooper Kupp maintained his insane target totals, earning 14 of Matthew Stafford’s 36 pass attempts for a 38.9% target share.
• Kupp led all players with 62 snaps (98.0%).
• Allen Robinson redeemed himself with a four-reception 53-yard performance against the Falcons. Robinson caught his first touchdown of the season and would have secured his second had it not been for a poorly timed whistle from the referees.
• Tyler Higbee played 97.0% of the offensive snaps, earning nine targets (25.0%) with seven catches for 71 yards.

Miami Dolphins

• Tua Tagovailoa completed 36/50 pass attempts for 469 yards and six touchdowns in a stunning comeback victory against the Ravens.
• Tua becomes the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 400 yards and six touchdowns with less than 35 career starts. The other quarterback in question is Patrick Mahomes.
• Raheem Mostert stole RB1 duties from Chase Edmonds, rushing 11 times for 51 yards compared to Edmonds’ 5 attempts for 33 yards.
• The running back tandem recorded three targets each for a 6.0% target share.
• Dolphins Backfield Snaps: Mostert = 39 (55.0%). Edmonds = 36 (51.0%).
• Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill exploded in Week 2, combining for over 84.0 PPR fantasy points.
• Waddle led all receivers in the NFL with 19 targets (38.0%), catching 11 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns.
• Hill topped all Dolphins and receivers league-wide with 190 yards on 11 catches for two touchdowns. The veteran speedster accumulated 13 targets (26.0%).
• The Dolphins’ duo of deep threats played double the snaps of any other wide receiver on the team (Waddle = 57 Snaps. Hill = 54 Snaps).
• Mike Gesicki continues to concede snaps to Durham Smythe (44/35 split).
• Gesicki managed four targets (8.0%) on a 62.0% snap share.

Minnesota Vikings

• Kirk Cousins was his familiar and terrible primetime-self against the Eagles, completing 27/46 passes for 221 yards with three interceptions to one touchdown.
• Justin Jefferson led the Vikings in snap share (98.0%) with 12 targets (26.0%), hauling in six for 48 yards.
• Adam Thielen topped the Vikings receivers with 52 yards on four catches. Thielen saw 97.0% of the offensive snaps, recording seven targets (15.2%).
• Dalvin Cook secured a 75.0% rushing share, needing a menial six carries to do so. Cook played 69.0% (nice) of the offensive snaps, yielding the remaining 31.0% to backup running back Alexander Mattison.
• Irv Smith earned an impressive 17.4% target share with eight targets on 56.0% of the team’s snaps. Smith caught Cousins’ lone touchdown pass in Week 2.

New England Patriots

• Jakobi Meyers has a 28.0% target share and 2.0 Yards Per Team Pass Attempt through two weeks of the 2022 Season. Meyers finished Week 2 with 37.1% of the Patriots’ targets with a team-high 82.0% snap share.
• DeVante Parker played 76.0% of the team’s snaps, second in line behind Meyers but managed just two targets (5.7%).
• Nelson Algholor recorded a 17.1% target share on 50.0% of the team’s offensive snaps.
• Rhamondre Stevenson played 62.0% of the offensive snaps compared to Damien Harris, who played 40.0%. However, Harris led the team with 15 rushing attempts and 71 yards with one touchdown.
• Stevenson touted nine carries for 47 yards. He saw two targets, catching one for four yards.
• Jonnu Smith played more snaps than Hunter Henry (39/34) and led the duo with three targets (8.9%).

New Orleans Saints

• Chris Olave earned 13 targets (32.5%) in Week 2, garnering 307 total air yards and an average depth of target of 21.92 yards, the highest single-game total of any rookie in the NFL’s Next Gen era.
• Olave played one less snap than veteran star Michael Thomas (51/52).
• Thomas received nine targets for a team share of 22.5%.
• Jarvis Landry was third on the team in snaps (46) and targets (5 TGT/12.5%).
• Tony Jones played more snaps than Marvin Ingram with starting running back Alvin Kamara sidelined due to injury.
• Jones received a 50.0% snap share but had two rushing attempts compared to Ingram’s ten carries.
• Ingram looked surprisingly efficient, managing 60 rushing yards with his opportunities. 
• Juwan Johnson has separated himself from the pack as the Saints’ number one tight end, playing 78.0% of the offensive snaps with a 17.5% target share (7 TGT).

New York Giants

• Saquon Barkley appears fully healthy and is earning a workhorse opportunity share through the first two weeks of the 2022 season.
• Barkley recorded 21 of 23 running back carries for the Giants in Week 2.
• Quarterback Daniel Jones was second in rushing opportunities, touting ten carries for 21 yards.
• Sterling Shepard is stepping up as the team’s number one wide receiver, earning ten targets (29.4%) on 88.0% of the offensive snaps.
• David Sills led all wide receivers in snap and route participation. Sills recorded four targets for an 11.8% share.
• Kadarius Toney was on the field for 28 plays (38.0% snap share). The Giants’ second-year wideout was targeted three times (8.8%).
• Rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger led the Giants’ tight ends with a 58.0% snap percentage, taking his only target of the game to the house for six points.

New York Jets

• Garrett Wilson surprisingly played just 61.0% of the offensive snaps, with a 78.0% route participation, yet recorded a monstrous 34.09% target share. 
• Wilson saw fewer snaps than veteran receiver Corey Davis and second-year wideout Elijah Moore.
• Moore continues to take a back seat to Wilson’s ascent despite leading the team in snap percentage (90.3%) and route participation (96.1%). Moore has earned a mere 12 targets on the Jets’ 104 total pass attempts for a target share of 11.53% through two games.
• Breece Hall and Michael Carter are locked in a committee with the tandem securing seven rush attempts each in Week 2. Hall tallied 50 of the team’s 93 net rushing yards.
• Carter saw a higher percentage of snaps (61.0%), routes (49), and targets (5).
• Hall discouragingly received just one target (2.2%) while playing 27.0% of the snaps. As it stands right now, it appears that the lead role belongs to Carter, thus stifling Hall’s immediate development.
• Tyler Conklin played 100.0% of the offensive snaps for the Jets in week two, earning a 20.0% target share.

Philadelphia Eagles

• DeVonta Smith had an excellent bounce-back performance after a worrisome outing in Week 1. Smith led the Eagles receivers with a 99.0% snap share, recording seven targets (22.6%).
• A.J. Brown saw one more target than Smith (8 TGT/25.8%), earning an 88.0% snap share.
• Miles Sanders recorded 73.9% of the running back rushing opportunities with 53.0% snap participation.
• Kenneth Gainwell saw only 26.0% of the offensive snaps, finishing with two targets (6.5%) and two carries for 18 total scrimmage yards.
• Jalen Hurts rushed 11 times for 57 yards, including two highlight-worthy touchdown runs.
• Dallas Goedert acted as the team’s number three receiver, playing 84.0% of the offensive snaps with a 19.4% target share (6 TGT).

Pittsburgh Steelers

• Second-year tight end Pat Freiermuth is earning his mettle as a top-tier dynasty tight end. Freiermuth recorded 81.0% of the offensive snaps and now has back-to-back games with a target share greater than 20.0%. He recorded seven targets in Week 2 (21.2%).
• Diontae Johnson remains the focal point of the Steelers’ passing attack, garnering ten targets (30.3%) on 86.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Chase Claypool played more snaps than Johnson (54/51) and is firmly ahead of rookie wideout George Pickens in the pecking order. Claypool saw six targets (18.2%) in the Steelers’ loss.
• Pickens played 85.0% of the offensive snaps in Week 2. The Steelers rookie recorded just one reception for 23 yards.
• Najee Harris played 71.0% of the offensive snaps, earning an 18.2% target share (6 TGT) and a 78.9% rushing share. Harris managed 89 scrimmage yards on 20 touches (15 RSH/5 REC).

San Francisco 49ers

• Trey Lance was carted off the field in Week 2 after suffering a season-ending ankle injury requiring surgery and months of rehabilitation.
• Jimmy Garoppolo stepped in for Lance, completing 13 of 21 pass attempts for 154 yards and one touchdown.
• Jeff Wilson acted as the de facto lead running back with injuries to Elijah Mitchell and Tyrion Davis-Price. Wilson had 18 rushing attempts for 84 yards on 49.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Davis-Price recorded 14 carries for 33 yards before exiting. He played 39.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Bradon Aiyuk led the 49ers in snap percentage (88.0%) and targets (8 TGT/33.3%) in Week 2.
• Deebo Samuel played 78.0% of the offensive snaps, recording six targets (25.0%), five receptions, and four carries for 97 scrimmage yards on nine touches.
• Ross Dwelley made his best George Kittle impression for one play, taking his only target for a 38-yard catch and run to the house for six points.

Seattle Seahawks

• Geno Smith completed 24/30 passes for 197 yards and no touchdowns as the Seahawks lost to their division rivals.
• The team’s lone interception of the day was chucked by DeeJay Dallas on a broken trick play as the running back tried to direct traffic while targeting DK Metcalf.
• Tyler Lockett led the team with a 92.0% snap share, recording a team-high 11 targets (25.5%).
• Metcalf played 92.0% of the offensive snaps, earning six targets for a 19.4% team share.
• Travis Homer surprisingly led the backfield with a 45.0% snap share.
• Rashaad Penny earned a 50.0% rushing opportunity share but had just 15 yards on six carries.
• Rookie running back Kenneth Walker III made his debut, taking four carries for 10 yards with 24.0% of the team’s snaps.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

• Tom Brady finally achieved his first regular-season win against the Saints while in a Buccaneers uniform.
• Julio Jones and Chris Godwin could not suit up for the contest as both receivers are recovering from lower body injuries.
• Mike Evans was ejected from the contest for a dust-up with lockdown corner Marshon Lattimore.
• Lattimore has traditionally given Evans the most formidable defensive matchup of his career. However, Evans put together a decent performance before being told to leave the game. The Buccaneers’ veteran receiver played 61.0% of the offensive snaps, recording four targets (11.8%) with 61 yards on three catches.
• Breshad Perriman caught Brady’s solo touchdown pass in Week 2. Perriman led the team with 50 snaps (75.0%)
• Russell Gage played 66.0% of the team’s snaps in a heightened role due to many player absences.
• Scotty Miller led the team with a 23.5% target share (8 TGT), playing 43.0% of the offensive snaps.
• Leonard Fournette amassed an absurd rushing opportunity share of 92.3% on 87.0% of the snaps.
• Rookie running back Rachaad White is the only other member of the Buccaneers backfield other than Fournette to record a touch this season. White is a complimentary handcuff to Fournette, evident by a limited 13.0% snap share in Week 2.

Tennessee Titans

• The Titans’ usage stats for Week 2 are heavily skewed by their blowout loss to the Bills. The coaching staff benched most of the team’s starters by the fourth quarter.
• Derrick Henry looks like a husk of his former beast-like self. Henry rushed 13 times for just 25 yards (1.9 YPC).
• Hassan Haskins was the more efficient runner, taking nine of the team’s 27 carries for 37 yards.
• Treylon Burks led the team in targets (6), receptions (4), and receiving yards (47). However, Burks recorded menial snap participation of just 45.0%.
• Robert Woods led the team with 37 snaps (66.0%), recording five targets (20.8%) in the Titans’ loss.
• Nick Westbrook-Ikhine played more snaps than Burks (34/25).
• Austin Hooper recorded four targets (16.7%) on a 50.0% snap share.

Washington Commanders

• Curtis Samuel was again the primary receiving threat for the Commanders in Week 2. Samuel earned nine targets (20.1%) on an 87.0% route participation while matching Terry McLaurin with 66 snaps (89.0%).
• Jahan Dotson led the team in snaps (73/99.0%). The Commanders’ rookie caught his third touchdown of the season, earning a 10.9% target share in Week 2.
• Logan Thomas matched Dotson with five targets (10.9%), playing 73.0% of the offensive snaps (54).
• Antonio Gibson played 54.0% of the Commanders’ snaps, recording 82.4% of the team’s rushing opportunities.
• J.D. McKissin recorded seven targets (15.2%) on a 46.0% snap share.
