Dynasty Analysis
Every week, I tell you guys about how the slates can’t possibly get any more gross, and every week it is worse. We have a few more teams on bye and some premium offenses on island games or at 7:30 AM MT, forcing me to set an early alarm to watch the Dolphins and Chiefs. We also have an epidemic of backup quarterbacks playing this week, making things extremely gross. Some of the guys who could be starting at quarterback this week include Clayton Tune, Tyson Bagent, Jaren Hall, Taylor Hienicke, Brett Rypien, Zach Wilson, Gardener Minshew, and Aiden O’Connell. On a 10-game slate like this one, that’s 40% of our quarterbacks, which is tough to stomach.
Hello DFF members, I am Chris, and I am doing a rookie roundup series for the 2023 season. My primary space in fantasy centers around analytics, rookie models, and early career models, so this is something I should be able to make beneficial content out of. This will be released every two weeks, and I will keep you updated on how these rookies have been performing and how their values should be changing. I will provide my take on their current value. This should be used as a tool when buying or selling as what I think their “fair value” is. I would be trying to make moves for these players where you buy for less and sell for more, but if you can get the price I list, I do think it is still in your favor. We have a lot to talk about; let’s get right into it.
Welcome to your Week 9 edition of Dynasty Start/Sits. Week 8 was a wild one. We’re down yet another viable fantasy QB with the loss of Kirk Cousins. So, If you’re looking for an injury replacement or bye-week filler. You’ve come to the right place because I’ve got you covered.
By now, you should realize which of your teams are gunning for championships and which are preparing for the offseason. That being said, the time to buy veterans has mostly passed. These guys are going to be at peak value and will likely involve you being caught “holding the bag.” There are specific scenarios where I want to make these moves.
Injuries are inevitable in Fantasy Football. How you prepare and react to them is what can make or break your fantasy team. Did you build a bench with sufficient depth to withstand the running back injury carousel? How do you pivot if a key player goes on injured reserve? Each week, we will look at the most impactful injuries in the Fantasy world and what players will step up their Fantasy production.
Welcome back to another weekly edition of “The Wire”. In this series, I review three players each week that you should target on the waiver wire for your Dynasty teams. To keep the information in this series consistent, I will only refer to players with an ownership percentage of less than 50%, according to Sleeper Dynasty leagues. I’ll do my best to provide you with players that have a more long-term upside rather than a one-week ceiling, seeing that this is a Dynasty series and not Redraft. So, sit back, relax, and let me find you some diamonds in the rough!
New features can be found in this week’s “DFS With Doug” as our resident gambling guru @DougHarrelson offers up his ~FREE~ Sunday Slate.
You know that feeling when you’ve reached the highest peak of the rollercoaster, and you’re just about to plummet back down to earth? In that moment, time seems to slow down as your body is flooded with pure joy and adrenaline. That’s how it feels to complete a dynasty trade.

Welcome in for our Week 7 edition of Dynasty Start/Sits. Due to injuries and the “bye-apocalypse”, we’re going to dial it back on the sits this week. Instead of the regular three, I’ll be doing two sits per position. We’ve got some great matchups on the slate, so let’s get down to business.
The date was December 2, 2017. West Virginians descended on Wheeling Island Stadium for the Class AAA state championship game. Defending state champion Martinsburg was set to take on Spring Valley. Led by quarterback Tyson Bagent, Martinsburg had won 27 straight games. Bagent threw for 232 yards leading Martinsburg to a 44-16 victory and its second straight state title. The Bulldogs finished the year ranked No. 19 in USA Today’s Super 25 national high school football rankings. Bagent finished the season with 3,199 yards, and 41 touchdowns and ran for eight more. He had an impressive 72% completion rate and would go on to win the Gatorade State Player of the Year award.
